When he first returned from the dead, he had that black and red Japanese-looking costume. I don’t think he’s ever had a red version of his standard look, though.

A correctly scaled Astonishing Wolverine redo on the 2016 body is inevitable.

Hoping the new wave finally gives us some love for the Gen X kids like Synch or M.

Wolverine would look great in red and black with maybe silver accents. He is such a hack and slash character plus he has healing abilities to show off, it might be hard for an artist to show all of that layered on top of red.

I would absolutely buy a Morrison era box set. Cyclops, Wolverine, Jean, Beast, and Emma.

Mine did arrive with no problems though I did have to sign for it, as I was informed, so that wasn't really an issue. Unfortunately he's already back in the box for storage until there's display room, but I had to get him out to show scale to a friend. I did keep Bastion and the prime sentinel out of box though.

Picture for validity of receipt. ha

edit: also reading that Havok is supposedly rumored for the next X-Men wave (via fwoosh and marvelous news) - assumption is classic Havok but there's nothing that points to that other than a modern-ish and X-Factor look has already been made, that seems to be a logical conclusion I'd have to say.

Also read a comment that someone mentioned that Banshee is confirmed not in this wave. Though that's now like 6 degrees of separation from source, but the source seems pretty accurate on things most times. If thats the case I must roll my eyes - how long....how long are they going to drag him not being released? Granted we do have at least one figure of him, but it's a shit figure and was nearly 15 years ago (much like the Deathstrike situation, but she was actually more hideous). A redo needs to be done, hopefully for the second X-Men wave.

I assume either a Deadpool or Wolverine with this wave but no clue which might be. Hoping we get House of X Storm, since they want to cover that era while it's still hot and she's both high profile and a different enough look that she'd make sense. Longshot maybe? And a few villains....I guess we'll find out when we find out.
How are the knees on yours?

I've read that the Haslab Sentinel suffers from "floppy" knees syndrome. Hasbro should have incorporated ratchet articulation into the knee joints.

While I didn't take a lot of time to pose or check out everything, I had read about the wobbly knees, sadly the knees on mine are not very stable making it hard to stand. Posing will take some planning, which is unfortunate.

That or all of the Sentinels were just excited for the new Matrix trailer.

I had to catch mine twice when taking pics. That's part of why there's so few. I just barely caught it the second time and almost dropped the camera. You should really think about anchor options if it's going on a shelf. It tips very easily. I'm sure my other one is the same way.

I'm not convinced it's so much QC as it is unintentional design issue. Either way, I agree with you. It's not a cheap figure and as my only "high end" figure I intend to own, it definitely wouldn't make me want to look into spending that much for something else.

The screw in the loose knees can be tightened.

I was about to post this. Good news indeed. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive...or for some shipping notification... but I digress.

All the more reason to ask Dan, Dwight, Ryan for Animated 30th Anniversary repaints. Steve Evans loves Animated so much he famously opened a bunch of X-Men cards prior to the recent market bubble,
