I’m guessing green costume Quicksilver.

An awful lot of Hasbro’s recent reveals have been underwhelming to me. Like, their priorities are so dissident from mine in terms of character selection that I’m always left cold. This is apparent from the Avengers & X-Men waves, especially the X-Men wave. What do I have to do to get Banshee? That’s also true of the Spidey retro wave for me, I was disappointed by which characters ended up in it (I was hoping for Kraven or Lizard versus the Spider-Man variants, although practically speaking, I appreciate the need for endless Spider-Men).

@Ultra Seven - With Spider-Man, I, too, need endless Spider-Men, especially since the classic costume is always too hard to find and we have to wait at least three years for the next new one to even get made. I will be disappointed if Retro Lizard is a Walmart exclusive, as I hate store exclusives. I actually get more disappointed by reveals for waves for Avengers and X-Men more than I do by Spider-Man, because there are so many versions of characters I'm personally missing and are usually characters/costumes that collectors have already gotten and don't want to see again, such as classic green savage Hulk, classic Thor, classic Scarlet Witch, classic Vision, classic Mystique, classic Magneto, 70's and 90's Jim Lee versions of Cyclops and Wolverine, Jim Lee versions of Jean Grey, Colossus, Jubilee and Beast, and several others.

On the Spider-Man side of things, I'd gladly welcome more civilian characters (classic versions of Aunt May Parker, Flash Thompson, Harry Osborn, first-appearance clothes Mary Jane Watson, and Daily Bugle staff members like Betty Brant and Joe "Robbie" Robertson all come to mind) and new updated classic villains like Chameleon, Vulture, Doctor Octopus (and even '90s white Armani suit Ock and Lady Octopus, for that matters), Lizard, Mysterio (with a better cape and alternate civilian heads of Quentin Beck and Daniel Berkhart would be welcome, please), Kraven the Hunter, Rhino, Tarantula, Spot, Hydro-Man with human arms, purple-and-blue costume Boomerang, Venom, Carnage and Doppelganger. Calypso and Carrion would be cool to see made too.

I wouldn't be mad at Extremis Iron Man. Nor would I be upset with Eric Masterson/Thor from Infinity Gauntlet with beard and masked helmet.

Actually, those insertions would make this one of the better waves of the last two years...

Colossus is literally available right now from many places, or are you passing on him because you don’t want the Juggernaut? A new batch of the two-pack hit online vendors a few weeks ago. I personally would love to see that Colossus figure rereleased (probably on a retro card) with updated more 90s boots, cuffs, and belt. It would be easy to do with relatively few new parts. I keep the existing one with the 70s team, so it would be nice to fill in my Gold team with an update.

Perhaps the classic Iron Man refers to the original design, or its all gold recolor since it is an Avengers wave.

@Benn Roe - Don't worry, I already knew about Colossus. I just meant I'd love to see a new Gold Team/Jim Lee figure of Colossus with the belt, boots and cuffs, despite the 80th anniversary two-pack release. The Jim Lee era uniforms for the X-Men remain my favorite costumes for characters like Cyclops, Jean Grey and Rogue, and I really hope the former two get re-released with new accessories and are easy to find next time around.

I sincerely hope not, but this is very likely what they're delivering.

The plot thickens… Jay C. is saying the leaked figures on the Fwoosh don’t match his info. He’s double checking but… sure is interesting.

Sounds like my dream Avengers comic wave of Justice, Meteorite, Graviton, Nefaria, and Sersi, with Hawkeye/Cap at the anchors will have to be something I dream to be disappointed by that we don't get in 2023, since the 2022 wave won't deliver.

The only real concern for me is Blue Marvel. The other stuff is either gravy or gristle.

I hope Quicksilver is in the green suit. Not too much to make me say "wow", so I'm hoping the BAF is someone I don't really need.

Lol well, all things considered, I think I've done a pretty good job in not constantly calling for the figure to be made despite my fandom.

That said, I'll still only believe it when I see it and not getting my hopes up just yet.

Speaking of believing incredulous things only after the seeing, my Tigras have shipped from Gamestop.

It is real.

Sure.

My Dorkside order just posted also...I should've canceled all other orders once I got the ship notice from GS.

My Boy finally arrived and he is everything I wanted in a Endgame Thor Figure. Not a fan of the lightning effects. I love the blue Hammers though

I just read on The Fwoosh that Quicksilver is NOT in the Avengers wave and will be in a different wave. The seventh figure is actually supposed to be Quake. It's nice to see it's another female character, but I'm still surprised that the wave might only have one villain. I'm still waiting on figures for villains like Annihilus, classic Baron Zemo, Constrictor, Count Nefaria and Molecule Man to get new Marvel Legends figures.

I'll be looking forward to seeing what Hasbro reveals and confirms in October. I'm hoping that we'll see some reveals of the Avengers and X-Men waves and at least something teased from the "Marvel Legends" 20th anniversary wave. Some more Retro Spider-Man fan channel reveals would be cool too.

I hope you all are having a great day and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend as well. Stay safe, everyone.

Per JT, the original leaker, he screwed up and rather than Quicksilver, Quake is in the wave.

I finally opened my Hydra Stomper. Overall, I really like it. My only real complaint is that the figure needs more heal support. It has a tendency to rock back and forth a bit due to the short feet and its own weight.

The figure comes with two fists, two grasping hands, two blast effects, and the two rocket engines that fit on the back of the figure. The black effects only work in the rocket engines. I tried using them in the gun barrels on the right arm but one was too small and the other didn't allow the peg of the blast effect to fully peg in.

The figure is a little taller than the MCU Iron Monger and definitely has more girth. I think it's much more believable that Steve Rogers could sit inside the chest to pilot this armor rather than Obadiah State sitting inside of the Iron Monger armor.

Like I said at the beginning, I really like this figure. For $53, I definitely feel like you get your money's worth. It makes MODOK look and feel cheap and they're both around the same price. I may be in the minority but I think it would be really cool if Hasbro retooled and repainted this figure into a Mark 1 styled Iron Man armor.

That’s still underwhelming for me personally, but that’s alright. I’ve really bought substantially fewer figures the past two years, and especially with prices increases, that definitely looks like it will remain the case.

I’d have preferred classic Miss Marvel, Wasp, Mantis, Moondragon, Mockingbird, Firebird, She-Hulk, Photon, Sersi, Crystal, Echo, Yellowjacket, Marrina, or Nikki Gold to Quake.

I dunno, Quake’s fine, but it’s annoying because there’s tons of characters I’d rather have first that are unlikely to show up outside of a BAF wave, and the Avengers ones are infrequent.
