Now Darwin is a welcome sight.
Although, not necessarily on the Pizza Spidey mold. I still like that mold, but Darwin, while svelte, was pretty tall and that mold is anything but. Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 12-16-2021 at 11:50 AM.. |

I'm skipping Sabretooth and Wolverine, but Siryn and Havok are must-buys for me!

The gold Sheild-armor head with the Hulk makes me wonder if Hasbro's intending a reissue repurposing of the old BAF as a Mandroid...

That Havok special effect is great and so glad it's not the one they've used 20000 times already.
Kind of not feeling Bonebreaker or Maggot. Will probably just get Havok, Syrin and Vulcan. But glad they're all getting done. That's a lot of brand new characters to the line. |

Old school Havok is cool as is Siryn.
Interesting choice to put Sabretooth on the Cap/Punisher/Grim Reaper body... |

Maggott is real surprise. I know someone who no longer frequents the thread that should be ecstatic about that.

Very excited for that X-wave. they all look great. Glad everyone finally gets a Siryn (even though I think I'll be keeping my custom on the shelf just because of uniform choice)Sabertooth is my favorite of the bunch- been waiting for this look.

Plus that head. It looks like someone took marty feldman and cribdo from destroy all humans and combined them for that head.

Yeah, it isn't the best, but Darwin did have a slightly alien looking countenance/construction to his head. He was deliberately 'non-human' looking.

WTF? That's not the version of Siryn that goes with 90s X-Force.
Havok looks great! What the hell is wrong with Sabertooth's mouth? It looks like they just gave up painting it halfway through. No interest in that Wolverine nor that... uh... bug eyed alien dude? Bonebreaker definitely looks badass. Wait, that big blue dude is Maggot? I thought Maggot was the small green skin child from the Morlocks? Lastly, that 20th anniversary Hulk is fugly. What were they thinking? Quote:
No seriously, you take that back! I have been waiting 30 years for a freaking Sleepwalker figure!!! ![]()

Loving the X Wave! Great stuff. I guess my custom Bonebreaker gets to finally retire as well as my custom Syrin.
I just wish Hasbro would decide to go all in on pin-less or stop them. The mix of these things in waves is odd. And eventually I'll probably have to double buy things haha. |

Yeah, it was pointed out on another board. I totally mixed up my characters back when he was first teased. I don't think I know Maggot.

from the Joe Mad era... cool designs but all the new characters sort of disappeared as soon as he left the book The Magneto Clone Joseph (or whatever he turned out to be... Xorn?) was happening during the Maggot phase- pretty bad stories overall that had me dropping the X-Men for the first time in 20yrs...

I'm definitely happy seeing MCU Wong and comic Siryn. Not feeling the Legends 20th Hulk though, his screaming head distinctly reminds me of when Thunder started to blow up in Big Trouble in Little China. I had no intention to buy another use of the 80th Hulk body since I've already got the original two pack and the Grey Hulk but this one still managed to disappoint. I still hope that Hasbro gets around to using the MCU smart Hulk body for a comic figure.

I guess with that stream out of the way we're cleared for want lists/wish lists for upcoming years. So using the format the Fwooosh has used in years past, 10 + a BAF
1. Justice (New Warriors, Avengers, whatever gets him done) 2. Count Nefaria 3. Graviton 4. Exodus 5. Mandarin (Prefer not his green skin look or FA, but again, whatever gets him done.) 6. Banshee (Jim Lee or GSXM - ultimately, both but either works for me for the first) 7. Avalanche (Classic) 8. Wizard (still hoping for a handful of F4 single Retro carded figures to take care of this and a couple of others next year) 9. Meteorite (Moonstone Thunderbolts OG first look) 10. Sersi (Comic Sersi, though I'm glad we got a place holder with the MCU, still badly want a comic one. Prefer the Red/Black, but I'm sure if we ever get one it'll be a green version, which would still be okay) BAF: Atlas. I mean, my list of BAF is pretty much down to being counted on two hands. Atlas, Blob, Stegron, HOX/POX Apocalypse, several of the AoA Horsemen, maybe a couple of others that could be single carded or BAF. But of the these, Atlas wins by a mile. Then again, I have the Mezco Lockjaw, so there's that need fulfilled. Can definitely understand if Lockjaw gets the vote in the end overall. |

The only figure I want is Carol Danvers Ms. Marvel.
I would gladly take an Emma Frost in a white outfit that can actually stand up and doesn't look five years out of date, but the Hellfire club version is at least mediocre. |

My most wanted figure is still Banshee.
I guess Dwight said there are multiple Siryn accessories they could not afford to include in this new wave version, so how long until we see a Banshee, Siryn, and Black Tom 3 pack? Quote:

I've heard the stories of the post AOA stuff like Archangel and his g/f making out in the air in front of her mom and the retcons they did to Nightcrawler. Doesn't sound enticing at all. Speaking of X-Men, only three more Claremont omnis to go before they are done. ![]()
