What happened to Kane's abdomen/waist area? It's so tiny.

As a Strange fan, I was already looking forward to the movie, so the trailer functions mostly as a perfunctory placeholder.
However, I'm excited to see America Chavez in the film and wasn't aware of her inclusion prior to the trailer. Her appearance definitely lends to the notion that Blue Marvel may eventually appear in the MCU - hopefully with Michael Jai White in the role. The other pleasant revelation is that I'm assuming the Chavez fig from the MoM wave is actually an MCU fig, which means we might get a canon fig that more suits my tastes than does the recently teased one. |

Yes, the Dr. Strange trailer looks so good! I likely will still wait for home release, but it's one I'll be watching right away when that comes. I'm not the biggest Spider-Man fan/movie fan, so even though I think the movies have been well done, there's not been any movies released this year that I was heavily anticipating. This trailer changes that.....

On another casting note, I really hope they keep Rachael Taylor as Trish and have her show up in She-Hulk. Where's my Linda Cardellini MCU figure btw

Great group shots! I regret not trying for that Pryde of the X-men/80's X-men display early on... could have gotten everybody at reasonable prices back then... they just look so good together on display. And it really bothers me when one characters is on two teams... it forces me to put both teams on the same shelf with the dual character in the middle.
Also do you just prefer Juggernaut wave Cable over the Sasquatch wave one? |

I liked the way Liefeld drew faces... especially angry faces with all the extra lines on the face... he drew great X-men/New Mutants IMO.

Meh. I was a late-teen preparing for college at the height of his popularity which altered my perceptions a bit. I understood why kids liked him: alot to look at with many pouches, armor, swords, knives, guns, spikes, corrugated armbands...neckbands too lol...sashes, etc. Too busy. Almost as if ADHD had an artistic manifestation and expression. That said, even had I been introduced to him at a younger age, I don't think I would have liked his art. His style is the reason for my lack of interest in so many mutants from that era. His shit was ubiquitous and infectious, apparently, with many other artists. But hey...people love that shit nonetheless. |

since it's sounds like I wasn't too far behind you in that age range, I can attest to some of my peers liking that style. I didn't, at that point I was all for Jim Lee's style - similar in ways but different enough in the ways that mattered.
I always thought all of RLs characters looked so weird. Like he didn't know a thing about anatomy. I don't necessarily mean how certain elements were emphasized, I mean that he didn't have a concept that the human skeleton wouldn't fit in that way at all. Everyone would realistically either fold in on themselves, snap apart at the torso, or have their shoulders pulled out of their sockets by the weight (ie. that awful Captain America of his), much less everyone wouldn't be able to get around anyways without feet. At this point he's more of a joke. Granted, he made his mark and money. But still a joke. |
