I always thought all of RLs characters looked so weird. Like he didn't know a thing about anatomy. I don't necessarily mean how certain elements were emphasized, I mean that he didn't have a concept that the human skeleton wouldn't fit in that way at all. Everyone would realistically either fold in on themselves, snap apart at the torso, or have their shoulders pulled out of their sockets by the weight (ie. that awful Captain America of his), much less everyone wouldn't be able to get around anyways without feet.

At this point he's more of a joke. Granted, he made his mark and money. But still a joke.
The diff between lee and leifield is LEE CAN DRAW FEET (and actually draw not just trace and disproportionately at that )

I'm not a Jim Lee Xmen guy either, but I will at least acknowledge him as a better than average artist. That said, I didn't appreciate his art until he moved over to DC, specifically, The Batman. I like what he did with shadows.

It’s so weird that we haven’t gotten those two already. Hope you’re right. I replayed the PS4 Spidey game again recently, and it made me really want Mister Negative.

The black dress shirt gives me the impression that Mr. Negative will be first. It represents the easiest path, which is Hasbro's modus operandi.

I'd like a shirtless, white slacks wearing version as well. However, I'll likely have to go the custom route for that.

Sadly, no, I tend to have better luck in the Stockton area myself.

I'm sure there are some in the Bay, I just don't travel that far very often these days.

I'd like to thank Hasbro Pulse for delivering the X-Force set and the (invisible) Invisible Woman on 6:30pm Christmas eve when I wasn't home after telling me they would be delivered on the 21st.

Didn't get any Legends for Christmas but I used some Xmas money to Pre-order MOM MCU Doctor Strange to upgrade my Infinity War one and I bought MCU Shang Chi at Gamestop for 16 before shipping. He goes for 25-30 on amazon

To those who celebrate it, I hope you're having a very Merry Christmas! I didn't get many Legends for Christmas, since I got most of mine earlier this month with the Retro Fantastic Four wave. I did get the Marvel Legends figures for Arcade and Stan Lee, though, so that was cool. I also got a few DVDs, some shirts, a $25 Pizza Hut gift card and the MOTU Origins figures for Man-At-Arms and Trap-Jaw.

I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. Stay safe, everyone, and Happy Holidays!

I think I only ever experience 2 legendary Christmas mornings... one in '86 as a kid and then again in '09 as an uncle. I remember in 2009 my nephews got so many Clone War toys that morning it was crazy... Republic Gunshps, AT-TEs, Y-Wings, Jedi Starfighters, the RC Hailfire Droid... tons of figures... I was legit jealous... all I did that morning was play with them knowing I only had a few hours with them until I had to say goodbye... to the toys... not my nephews. LOL.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you all.

Whilst I wait for the fam to wake up to watch the Matrix, I thought I will give my top Marvel Legends of the year and why:

1-ULTRON. Simply put, my classic version. Took them awhile…
2-PSYCHO-MAN. Bit too small for my liking, but I love a Kirby design.
3-HERCULES. He’s near perfect, and makes me smile.
4-BINARY. From my second favourite saga of the X-Men.
5-LEGION. Never though he get made, and I love the TV show.
6-OMEGA SENTINEL. Just an incredible cool design.
7-THE CAPTAIN. Another one I never though I see. An oddball.
8-DARKSTAR. Love her since the Champions.
9-LADY DEATHSTRIKE. Lots of love went to this figure. It shows.
10-CALLISTO. Almost all re-use, but I love her Siouxsie face, and very cool character.

RUNNER UPS:
-QUASAR. Great figure but not a fave character.
-FROG-MAN. Super fun fig, but not an essential to me.
-MEGGAN: Waiting years for her, and we get crazy smile and fat feet.
-SHADOWCAT: Decent, but not great.

MCU:
-WANDA
(Sersi, Sylvia, Cap Carter and Zombie Cap were great also).

BAF:
Hands down URSA MAJOR. But I love that we got Xemnu and Armadillo.

Best overall is of course THE SENTINEL. Can’t wait for Galactus.

I think it was Ursa Major, though could've been the villians wave as well. My Walmart was thick with both, but they sold through and now we're sitting on Eternals, Shang-chi, and Origins Snake Eyes until they clearance those suckers out.

  5. Iron Man Mark 3
  6. Captain Carter
  7. Human Torch - Flame On Version
  8. Red Skull
  9. Modular Armor Iron Man
  10. Infinity War Captain America

In addition to my Top 10 figures of 2021, I'm also going to post my Top 10 wishlist of 2022. I'm going to give comic figures and MCU figures their own Top 10 since Hasbro has been releasing a dedicated MCU wave/assortment for the past few years.

Top 10 Comic

1.) Daredevil
I don't want A Daredevil figure. I want THE Daredevil figure. First, he needs to be on a new body like Vulcan's new buck. Second, he needs to have swappable parts like an alternate head, alternate hands, and options for the billy club. In the comics, the billy club turns into escrima sticks, a bo staff, and a grapnel launcher. This new Daredevil figure should have all of them. And third, the color of red needs to be perfect. I know in the comics the color can change depending on the artist but the suit is commonly depicted as dark/shaded red for the body suit and primary red for the belt, boots, and gloves.

2.) Dark Avengers Ms. Marvel/ Avengers: EMH Ms. Marvel
I don't particularly like Ms. Marvel's costume from the 1970s but I do really like the updated version from the Dark Avengers. That version was also used as Carol's suit in the cartoon Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. It's a pretty easy figure for Hasbro to make: Moonstone head, scarf, painted female buck. And with MCU Carol's suit being in this color combo, it would be a good time to make this version of Ms. Marvel.

3.) Fantastic Four She Hulk
Nuff said.

4.) The Lizard
Something human sized that was seen in the comics from the 1960s to the 1990s as well as Spiderman The Animated Series. I'm tired of the mutated dinosaur/iguana Lizards that we've been getting from Hasbro.

5.) Spiderman The Animated Series Doc Ock
I can't believe there is a Funko Pop for this version of Ock before there is a Legends figure. Obviously, I'd like to see bendable tentacles or some sort of hard plastic, articulated tentacles included.

6.) Gamerverse Advanced Suit Spiderman
For those unfamiliar with the costume, it's the red, white, and blue Spiderman costume from the Playstation 4/PS5 games. Hasbro just released a dedicated Miles Morales figure from the games. Now Peter needs the same treatment. Included should be an alternate unmasked head as well as fists, web shooting hands, and open/wall crawling hands.

7.)Classic Beta Ray Bill
Again, Nuff said.

8.) Classic Hank Pym Giant Man
I know a new figure won't match the height of the Toy Biz BAF but I don't need it to. I'd just like to have the character represented on my shelf. Most important of all, this should be a retail release. NOT HASLAB!

9.) Ultimate Captain America (Present Day)
The last two times Hasbro released a present day Ultimate Captain America, he was on the Toy Biz Face Off Punisher body. It's time for a new figure, even if it's a retool of the 80th Cap. It'd be pretty cool if they could do a swappable neck so that you could also give him his look from The Ultimates 2 but that might just be wishful thinking.

10.)Avalanche
I don't have a particular costume in mind for him. Just something recognizable. And with an effects piece to show him using his powers.

MCU Top 10 to follow.

Here's my MCU Top 10 wishlist for 2022

1.) Captain America: The First Avenger primary WW2 costume
Hasbro released a 6" figure for the movie but it hasn't aged well as it came out a year before the Return of Marvel Legends. And yeah, getting the theater/USO costume would be cool too.

2.) Phase 1 Hulk
Not sure if I want them to use the BAF body from the Endgame wave or make a new one. But he needs to have blue jeans, not khakis, and alternate heads for Edward Norton and Mark Ruffalo.

3.) Peter Parker
Tony Stark, Happy Hogan, and MJ have all gotten figures. It's time for Peter to get one too. With an accurate Tom Holland head sculpt.

4.) Spiderman Homecoming - Stark Suit
He needs proper body proportions, wall crawling hands, the line detailing on the blue portions of the suit, and painted web lines.

5.) Doc Ock - SM2/NWH

6.) Green Goblin - SM1/NWH
Specifically, I want Goblin's costume from the first Raimi movie, which is also seen when he first appears in NWH. His costume from the second half of the movie fine but not a priority for me.

7.) NWH Spoiler Figure 1
Not going to say who this character is to avoid spoiling the movie but Ned and MJ encounter this character on their own in the third act of the movie.

8.) NWH Spoiler Figure 2
Again, trying to avoid spoilers. Ned and MJ encounter this character in the same scene as my #7 pick.

9.) NWH Spoiler Figure 3
Seen in the final minute of the movie, before the credits rolled.

10.) Black Widow - Endgame
A new figure that captures the details of her costume in the movie. I know some people have used the Infinity War Widow body and the QR suit head. That's fine but I'd like to see Hasbro put in the effort to make her actual Widow suit from the movie.

Those are my top two, for largely the same reasons, although I am actually really fond of the seventies look for Carol, on its own merits. Third for me would be Banshee. Four through ten is as follows:

4. Corsair (I’ll use him as a placeholder for the rest of the Starjammers, so that half of this list isn’t that team).
5. Rachel Grey Phoenix (got the Excalibur boxset yesterday, love it despite some quibbles, need to round off the core team).
6. Kitty Pryde (first appearance; I know no one else is clamoring for this, but she’s always been a top three Marvel hero for me, and a lot of that originated with reading Claremont’s X-Men in high school. This figure would be emblematic of that, even more than Shadowcat).
7. Luke Cage (classic; I don’t know how we haven’t gotten classic Luke Cage yet. He’s also another all-time favorite character of mine. His hetero life-mate Iron Fist just misses my top ten).
8. Mockingbird (reuse of the Lady Deathstrike sleeves, anyone? I really want to see the West Coast Avengers finished forthwith).
9. Wonder-Man (Safari Jacket, obviously; the news of George Perez’s illness made me realize how much I love his body of work, and how badly I’d like more figures based on it. This chooch would be a great place to start).
10. Stingray (easy figure for Hasbro, and he’d look badass).
