I will be curious to see what price tag they tack onto the Hulkbuster. Most other BAFs have been $50 each. Something tells me Hulkbuster will be higher priced.

@donmeca

If they keep the Hulkbuster at $50 you would be looking at about $74 before shipping which is half the cost of the wave...if you can get the others for $20 a piece. Personally, Doc Strange is my most wanted from that wave.

Yeah I'd expect some price increase on the HB armor. They were asking a little more than the MSRP for Carnage and Black Cat last year but it wasn't anything absurd.

On an unrelated note, I got Sentinel's Extremis Iron Man today. WAY cooler than what I was expecting. He's too big to fit in with Marvel Legends but he scales pretty well with Marvel Select figures.

But scale is scale. You cant say a 1/9th scale is in scale with a 1/12th scale. If you think it will look cooler, that's fine, but then say that. Claiming something out of scale is more in scale is just confusing and makes me think you don't know what scale means.

Also, the ML BAF isn't 9". It's near 12". No idea where this 9" freakout came from.

I'm fairly certain he's merely meaning to compare alternate company's releases of the Hulkbuster in order to determine which would look better alongside Marvel Legends figures. There's no need to take his word so seriously.

Something that is not on the same scale frequency does not necessarily make it not in-scale. A Marvel Universe Wasp could fit better with Marvel Legends figures, regardless of the scale being different. As such, one can say that it's in scale with its Marvel Universe counterparts, but due to Janet Van Dyne's power set, it is also in scale with the Marvel Legends line.

Wasp being a change sizing character in fiction is totally different! I don't think that's a fair or reasonable comparison. Again if you want to say it looks cool, that's fine. But he literally said it would definitely be in scale. Apologies if ignoring the definition of scale while talking about scale is off-putting to me. Apologies if I came off as harsh. I was perplexed and assumed he didn't know what scale meant.

I have Marvel Select Hulk and Juggernaut with my legends because I think they look better, totally okay.

Can someone please tell me where the "ML Hulkbuster is only 9" came from? And can we stop pretending that's a real thing?

Wow apologies for lighting a fire lol....All I'm saying is when I look at pics of the baf hulkbuster to me make it look to small therefore in my eyes out of scale...personally I think the titan series o, e is the most in scale TO MY EYE....just what I am seeing when I watch the movie...just my opinion sorry my words caused ya'll to get frisky lol

Scale is erm not the right word here its the word height,
i.e we wouldn't want a 6 inch high hulk-buster, in all fairness they're all out of scale otherwise all our figures would be 6 inches tall.

Anyway.....

Now lets say ML's Hulk-buster isn't the correct height for ML's 6inch Hulk.
I would look at the movie and see how the height difference is to the film, I would imagine that the ml's hulk-buster is in scale with ml's hulk, it maybe slightly shorter in the film, visa verser, to me they share the same height i think.

i do imagine hulk needs to be taller than most figures , its down really to research and how much accurate you want to be.
i.e the hulk buster is taller than hulk by a few inches, buy the hulk figure. wait for reviews of two different hulk buster to which people hopefully would have had the same hulk figure to do size comparions, so you can get your satisfied hulk buster to fight hulk

Hope this size chart settles the debate.
Hulkbuster is 11 feet tall, so proper toy (Marvel Legends scale) should be 11 inches tall.
Hulk is 8.5 feet tall, so the ML figure should be 8.5 inches tall.

The AOU Hulk ML figure is actually 8.25 inches tall, SO , if the Hulkbuster BAF is around the 10.5-11 inch area I will call it close enough and say they are in scale to each other.

I think the rumor started from either Jay C or Pixel Dan. I recall in an interview, Jay C saud the figure we say at TF was not the BAF. The BAG will be shorter...

I could be wrong, and hope I am...but this is HAsbro.

Well the packaed pics we got support the same size as that display. Look at those legs! Legs for days! DAYS! It's possible to have something changed from proto to release, but once the packaging is done? I highly doubt it. Hopefully we'll know for sure in a few weeks.

Thank you!

Consider me sold. Hoping that estimated ship date is accurate (6/24/15). Charged me tax but no worries there for this particular wave. I just want it ASAP without it costing an arm and a leg.

so the ant man wave is available for to order on toys r us site? i only see for single figures..... hmm

as far as size goes for the ML hulkbuster, i feel he will fit nicely between MS hulks, juggernaut, abomination etc sized figures.

does anybody notice mask differences between the ML ant-man, the movie ant-man, and the MS ant man ?? seems like some toys have his face completely covered with a mask while others dont...

ah yess nice spot seems to be like the "classic" version where you could see his mouth and the microphone/speaker for the ants... I don't remember seeing a half-mask in the trailer , might of been from concept art, might not be a final design. Who knows but hasbro.
Also the smaller figure [one with ant] has a full mask

TRU doesn't sell cases. You need to add each figure individually to your cart and then do the purchase.

Exactly most likely would have cost the same too if getting it from BBTS minus having to buy the entire case which is the plus!
