While I understand why many were upset about the head for Siryn, I must say that sure is a fetching face they've designed for the figure. However, all that green and yellow makes this fig slightly reminiscent of the Hope Summers toy. There's enough difference, of course, to distinguish Siyrn, but the color scheme evokes Marvel's mutant messiah. Also, I'm sure it's been said many times before, but what's up with Marvel's redheads being almost exclusively mutants? (just a joking observation; for the persnickety types)

...and it isn't lost on me that most of the redheaded mutants are either progeny of Jean, or some tangential facsimile of the character.

I felt it was a bit "grown up" for my 3 year old grandson but he missed a lot of the references that I caught. I thought it was funny. It's just about a girl coming on age in this modern world. Not something I think has been directly addressed in a cartoon before.

I wasn't on the hateraid express that some bought tickets for, but I did agree with the annoyance and I now find myself liking it considerably more.

Should I do it or wait. |

IMHO, there are far better options for her at way better prices. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, though.

And the retro black widow is the laziest thing I’ve ever seen. But your probably right, I think I will wait and see if marvel legends can attempt to give us a good classic black widow. |

Her upper torso is great. I have her and i actually like it. The legs are dated yah but if you can swap the legs and hands its an even better fig.

With so many looks, it's really going to come down to which appeals to you. If you and I are talking about the same figure, the 2 pack version is pretty dated along side most more modern sculpts- even the Retro version (which wasn't really for me either, TBH). Personally, I went with the 90's comic look, and it's still dirt cheap.

Shocked to find this at a local books/collectibles shop:

From what I've seen it may only be Siryn showing up for now, with the other figures showing up a bit later. Good luck on your hunt! |

^ I remember about a month or two back at a local toy show a seller had both that Spider-woman and the demogoblin wave Vulture for sale for 30 bucks each, but I only had enough cash left for one... I chose Vulture. I still can't decide if I made the right choice or not. LOL.

While we’re at it, could we get a better classic She-Hulk? If anyone needs double-jointed arms, it’s She-Hulk. And a new Absorbing Man?
