I have to imagine most DnA fans pretty instantly recognized that Infinity Ultron took visual cues from Phalanx Ultron, the red cape and multiple "eyes" were giveaways, but just as you noted there's actually very little reuse potential between the two once you get into specifics. Hasbro can often take the lazy route (sometimes it's even justified) but potentially doing that here would be quite weak.

The only point of contention I have is why they only shipped part of my order out and not the whole thing. I would have rathered they just shipped them all together.

Depends on how they go about it, but the way they did Taskmaster was horrible. It also doesn't help because from my understanding of the character he's supposed to learn everyone's abilities by seeing them in action. This version used a computer to do that, which kind of defies the one trait Taskmaster has. And then there was, again, the horrible execution.

Glad you enjoyed her though. You're the first person I've seen post that was happy with the route they went.

I didn't down right hate Black Widow, but it had no business being a Phase 4 movie. The stakes were non-existent because you knew Natasha was not going to ever be in any true danger. The plot was pretty much just a worse version of The Winter Soldier. And the villains were dreadful. Yelena was the best thing about the movie and ultimately what saves it from being as bad as Thor Dark World and The Eternals.

What's kind of funny though is on another message board I've got kind of a cyber stalker who constantly tells me I never say anything bad about the MCU while I tear the DCEU apart, but then when I linked him to my post about how terrible I found Taskmaster to be, he blatantly ignored it.
Yeah that’s fair she could have been more comic accurate and I do agree it should not have been in phase 4, but it’s still my favorite mcu movie and yelena was the best part imo.

Question for ML collectors - is the USAGENT (from the new Controller BAF series) worth the upgrade if I already own the "Return of Marvel Legends" Wave 3 version (the one that came with a silver base rather than a BAF part)

I guess it depends on how much you like US Agent. The one you already have is on the Bucky Cap body so in terms of articulation they're near similar if not identical but in terms of size the new one is bigger and beefier which is truer to his typical comic appearance. Also the new one's shield doesn't have the star which is more often what I'm used to with the character.

Cool thanks, in that case I might just keep the "Return" version then if they are so similar unless I can find the new version for a good deal

BBTS shows Speedball and IM Model 70 from the Controller wave as in stock. The rest of the wave is still pre-order.

Got Retro Rhino at a local toy show... overpaid a bit, but whatever. Just need to somehow get a Retro Green Goblin now and hope I don't have to give up my soul to get the Walmart exclusive Lizard... then I think I am completely done with Spidey figs. At least I was able to get my Retro Spidey, Retro Scarlet Spider, Kaine Scarlet Spider and Doc Ock for cheap... so it kinda evens things out a bit.

I only want the new lizard and a new tarantula and I'm good with Spidey villans. My shelf is beyond crowded.

^ I envy people that were Spidey fans to begin with and bought every key Spidey Legends fig as they came out. I never really liked Spider-man as a kid... mostly just liked X-men, Punisher, Moon-Knight, Ghost Rider and Daredevil... so while I bought all those figs early on I was always passing on Spidey stuff.

I was always a Spidey/X guy, but I feel that way about the entirety of the line.

Oh well, aside from Kraven and a small few others I'm ambivalent about, I'm all caught up at this point anyway.

Spider-Man is my favorite super hero of all time, which is why I bought the Pizza Spidey even though I wasn't even collecting Marvel Legends at the time. He is the entire reason I got into this line. I'm actually glad I did though because that seems to be when Hasbro was finally perfecting the line.

Most of my heroes I like today are pretty much the same as a kid with Captain America being the exception. Not sure why, but as I kid I had no interest in Cap. I thought he was a lame character until the movies happened and then I started reading some older Cap comics. Now he's one of my favorites. Nevertheless, I've always been big into Spider-Man, X-Men, Ghost Rider, Morbius, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Fantastic Four, and Silver Surfer. I've also been an on again/off again fan of Thor and Hulk. Not sure why, but my interest those two only seems to be dependent on a certain mood. Iron Man has never griped me and while the movies have made me appreciate him more, I've still yet to really care enough to take the plunge into his comics, though if I do, it would be the Omnibuses covering his original run (same goes for Hulk and Thor).

^ The MCU movies completely changed my opinion on Iron Man and Captain America. My older brother liked Iron Man, but I just remember thinking he was dumb as a kid and I remember telling everyone that the 2008 movie was gonna bomb. LOL. Not only was I wrong about that, but the movie actually made me like Iron Man... he was just too cool not to like. And the first half of the 1st Captain America movie is still my fav thing in the entire MCU... skinny Steve Rogers turned me into a Cap fan.

I'm kicking myself over here. I didn't think I was going to complete the Ursa Major BAF so I sold the parts from Ultron and Stealth Iron Man. Because of that Pulse sale, I purchased the rest of the wave. Now I need to track down those parts again. Ugh.

What parts do you need? Having purchased multiples of Darkstar, the Guardsman, and Ulton (and modular Iron Man, but there's no BAF piece included with that fig) I'm sitting on extra parts for Ursa. I can send them with the upcoming bits of the Controller that come with Blue Marvel.
