Oh my God, agony looks stunning with her new hair sculpt and general color pallet.
Too bad she’s in a box set tho

Man, I'm barely on the internet for like 2 days because of new hire orientation and a million things seemed to have gone up for preorder. Fortunately, I have no interest in this Venom set, but that's besides the point. Yesterday it was PR stuff and a new Halloween 4K set. What tomrorow? A bunch of GI Joes?

I here you loud and clear…I will still collect, but these pre order are so out of control, even I tried to figure out how many things I have put on preorder, and total forgot about them! That’s how bad it has been for me…And, like you said, “What tomorrow?” I don’t know, but it making me care less and less about preorders, and I my internet happens for looking for collectibles has also decreased.

Marve Legends figures from all eras.
Retro Avengers is a mix of Toybiz and Hasbro Legends figures

Marvel Knights almost all Toybiz figures

Marvel Heroes almost all Toybiz again

Marvel Villains it's a bit more mixed this time of Hasbro and Toybiz

Sinister Six this time it's almost all Hasbro with 3 Hasbro Spider-Man Origins figures.

After putting these pictures together I can really see what people were talking about in a poll I conducted comparing Toybiz and Hasbro figures. Most of the Toybiz figures with human faces look weird aside from Punisher and Captain America. Black Widow, Elektra, and Daredevil have really weird faces. Falcon and Bullseye don't look bad they just haven't aged well. The best looking Toybiz figures are the ones with masks that cover their entire faces or don't have human faces. Ghost Rider and Black Heart actually look great. Looking at the Spider-Man Origins figures I can say Hasbro has come along way, their figures have just kept improving.

I was wrong, it wasn't GI Joe, it was Hero Quest.

I've felt for a long time now, that animated movies could be an avenue marvel could use to please fans who prefer features that are truer to the source material. An animated comic accurate Infinity Gauntlet, World War Hulk, etc? Sign me up.

Let's hope that this reinvestment in the animated side of the business with What If? will act as a catalyst for a larger revisit. Let's also hope that said potential revisit doesn't rely solely on rotoscope and high priced celebrity voice talent, as both of which (I imagine) tend to chew through budgets.

Last reports I read (caveat: has been a minute) are that Marvel founded/was founding an animation studio just for things like this. I don't believe 'What If s1' is part of that. I could be wrong. Either way I'm sure the PTB know DCAU has been stomping on Marvel for quite some time. Those old Lionsgate films were middling for the most part.

I'll go to my grave stating that the Dr. Strange is top shelf for Marvel animation. It's still subpar when compared to most DC animation, though, but it's a damn fun watch.

Well, that's a bit of good news, thanks for the info. I'm going to start looking into this...

Ageed on the other points, especially the Strange movie being better than the others, but not enough to save the lot of them from mediocrity. Planet Hulk and Hulk Vs are still the high water mark for all of the animated features imo. (Planet Hulk survived even the licensing issues: i.e. Beta Ray replacing Silver Savage) On the animated series side of the ledger, The Avengers:Earth's Mightiest Heroes stands well apart from the rest and still functions as a reminder of the bad decisions Marvel makes with 'toons.

A:EMH is in a whole different class and conversation. I'm STILL pissed they canceled that show and replaced it with that horrible other cartoon. I can't even recall the name of it and I'm genuinely trying (don't care enough about to hit google). What they did to Hulk in THAT series makes all the MCU complaints pale in comparison. At least the MCU still has that awesome AoU Hulk v Hulkbuster battle.

Lol You are an expert at salting the wound, my friend!

Agreed on the concept art. As much as I'd have loved for that to happen, when I saw Crystar and Green Scar Hulk, I had to call bullshit. Then I saw Son of Satan with his glowing pentagram and laughed out loud. As if that would fly with our bumper crop of Christian zealots! I'm a Catholic and feel put upon by the born again sect...

I'm a born again Christian and I think sooo many of us are too uptight! Those types give us ALL a bad name.
I have been chastised for reading comics and seeing Marvel Movies...but one thing I can say in all honesty...you worry about your salvation..I'll worry about mine. I actually love all things Marvel including Son of Satan!! Please don't judge us all by my misguided brothers and sisters. They just need to UNCLENTCH!

LOL Agreed. Yes, I've met a good amount of very cool born again Christians, like yourself. But I've also met many sanctimonious ones that have had the audacity to tell me I wasn't 'saved' and they wanted to personally take a role in preventing my 'damnation'. "Oh, really? How magnanimous of you. I suppose the 7 years I was an altar server meant nothing." I've also been told, couched in polite Christian rhetoric, that Catholicism is a form of heresy and not 'quite' Christianity. As you said, salvation/enlightenment is a personal journey and there are multiple paths, including 'no belief'; I've met intrinsically good people that are atheists through and through. What I most take issue with is our current slide as a nation into a faux theocratic state. I say "faux" because many of the modern proponents mouthing about 'God', only truly care about the political/financial POWER 'religion' can provide. These are exactly the people parables (across beliefs) warned the pious of in countless analogies. There are certainly Catholic zealots, throwbacks to the Knights Templar, but I reject that too as the dressing up of murderous empire-building and rationalizing politics in the name of theocracy. - I'm done offending sensibilities now

What a tease! Yes, that show was great, and I have watched it countless time. They did have a winning formula with that show. Please, bring it back! Maybe if there is enough noise to bring back the show or maybe a petition or something petition or something. Whatever the case maybe, I still think Marvel/Disney should try to do something in the animation arena. Marvel Comics were great reads, not only did I love the story lines, most of the time, but I just loved gazing at the art that was on the comic book pages. Because to tell the truth, the artwork in those comics caught my attention for a few minutes, before I decided to read those comics.

I wish they would. EMH and The Spectacular Spider-Man are two of the best Marvel animated shows ever made.

Hope we get some Galactus news on the 10th.

Completely unrelated, but if you haven’t seen Prey on Hulu, I highly suggest watching it. It rivals the original for best Predator movie ever, IMO. The cinematography was amazing, with some great call backs to 1 & 2. I had my doubts, but they knocked this one out the park.

I'm also waiting for some news on Galactus. Plus I need to know with time so that I can gather the necessary groceries. And thanks for the heads up on Prey. I switched my home internet provider and I just got back service today. I had been especially excited to see the new season of Reservation Dogs on Hulu but now I have something else to really look forward to.

I'm good. I've had my fill of Predator sequels and a prequel sure as hell ain't going to suddenly make them good.

Thanks, will check it out. And, been waiting for Galactus news, myself. Can not wait to hold him like a baby in my Arms. Does anyone know if Hasbro with give us some points for Hasbro merchandise for purchasing Galactus? Just wondering.
