The height/scale thing isn't really an issue considering how... varied Silvermane's body has been throughout appearances. You could probably use the BAF Warlock body and still make an accurate incarnation with some sculpting.

Winter Soldier from my previously mentioned Gamestop sale order arrived today. While it still definitely shows in handling that this is a body made in 2014 the new heads and fresh coat of paint manage to make it feel like a figure worth displaying today. The trusty ol' combat knife is once again reused here (despite there also being a knife perma-sculpted on the back of his belt) as well as what I believe to be some new guns that are kinda realistic but also don't actually match anything he ever used on screen so Bucky is well armed (pun intended). He's nothing groundbreaking but I am still happy they finally made a Winter Soldier I wanted and that I got him on a little sale.

I'm not impressed, I prefer an updated Danny Ketch Ghost Rider like the old Toybiz Marvel Legends figure.

If that's how you feel, that's perfectly fine. I just don't agree.

@Blue Marvel

WOW!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed your shoots over the years and this one is no different. Your posing gives so much dynamic action. I remember your Dr. Strange shoot with the snake figure and vividly remember a shot of yours with cottonmouth with his head cocked a little that looked so authentic. Not lying or ashamed to say I have a few figures in my collection thanks to your great pics.

Keep it up man!

Note: Is the figure in the black karate suit with the red mask a ML figure or a custom, either way, I think he is a great figure.

Note 2: Cannot wait to get my camera so I can start taking cool pics like so many do on this site.

Wow, loving the expansive dio, Blue. The sense of depth and attention to detail is very impressive and inspiring. Makes me want to try my hand at constructing something similar. Also, your pics and figure posing are top-notch per usual. Love the sense of motion and the heat of the moment that you captured in your shots.

Looks like some have also started finding both re-packaged in-store with less desirable figures inside. My legit worst fear with the new packaging.

A completely unsurprising turn of events and yet another reason to no longer purchase the figures at a retail location. I am curious to know if e-tailers will see a substantial rise in orders due to these changes.

Has someone already posted pics of a repack?

Found these at Target this morning. The tape was intact. The boxes are very thin and very underwhelming. Hell, I'd settle for just whelming.

At least they got the one figure, the one I saw at Target yesterday was sitting on the shelf ripped open and looked completely empty.

Thanks so much, dude, your kind words are appreciated and mean a lot to me! I remember when this thread was nearly all pictures. It was part of what made the Ark a virtual home for me and seeing people post their pictures is what still inspires me to snap my own photos. I remember that Cottonmouth pic and tried to find it, but, sadly, I couldn't retrieve it - photobucket has eaten a couple of my shots over the years. However, I believe I found the other photo set you mentioned (albeit, not Strange inspired:

I anticipate returning to sharing photos more regularly in the very near future. Thanks for the encouragement, I'll keep snaping!

Thanks, man! I look forward to you sharing your pics, it's a wonderful way to enjoy your collection. The fig you asked about is the Fwoosh's Articulated Icons - Evil Sensei: Itami. All of the featured enemies are various Articulated Icons figs. I backed their Kickstarter and hope they revisit the effort and do a gangster wave to fill other voids within my collection. Legends have made a plethora of suited bodies for this purpose, but I'd appreciate more cultural diversity along with a variation in stylings.

Thanks Red! Just as with another set I did recently, it's a cornucopia of dio parts mixed and matched. It can be tricky to pull off an open air setting and I've left a lot to be desired, but it's better than I've done in the past, so I'm satisfied from the perspective of progress. Thanks again for the compliments, I really appreciate it, but you know what I'm going to say...I'm waiting for you to start posting again! You were one of the people I first encountered here sharing photos and you have also been an inspiration to me.

You post a lot of great photos and it's usually too many to comment each time but great job. My personal favorites are the Nico Minoru shots and Bi-beast by virtue of him being a cancelled figure that I really wish made it. At the least your photos give him life beyond being a discarded prototype.
