Lol FYI: 2016 wasn't a barn burner either. Outside of the Juggernaut wave, there were many complaints about selections that year as well. That was the year that featured BAF waves for space Venom, the Abomination, and the 'wrong' Onslaught. The entire year was an adventure of odd combinations and costume choices askew of fan wants; the 'Raft' Electro, female Beetle, Udon Task Master, canon Red Guardian, Cottonmouth, Eel (all of which I was happy for, but not many others), etc. So, again, pump the brakes.
Anyway, easy pass on Reyes. I like him, but I don't like him enough to spend $400 on him. Supposedly Mephisto and Blackheart were teased, but I'll just wait until they are eventually released alone.

What are you even talking about? I said 2016 was the year I started collecting Marvel Legends. I'm now saying this year has been the weakest year since I started collecting the lines. WHere are you getting I said 2016 was bad? If anyone needs some pump action, it's you.

Note 1: I do agree with the price point being kind of high, but hopefully, the tiers make it worth it after everything is said and done. Note 2: IMO, the ML waves of this year have been somewhat disappointing, but I rather buy the HasLab product, than cherry picking through lack luster waves throughout the year.

Here is my wish list for Marvel Legends Ghost Rider:
1. Ghost Rider (Danny Ketch) 2. Mephisto (Classic) 3. Vengence (Classic) 4. Blackheart (Classic) 5. Blackout (2007 Movie Video Game) 6. Scarecrow (2007 Movie Video Game) Scarecrow from the video game will ether be a deluxe figure or a Build-A-Figure for a Ghost Rider wave. |

I really want this... but the price has me hesitant.
Plus all my figma preorders and other figures keep getting delayed so I never know when they'll hit. I really wish HasLab projects would give more time to save up. |

Apparently Amazon has shipped Madame Hydra before I could even cancel my preorder. Oh, and a friend died today.

@ Dr. Kain, sorry to hear about your friend. Never an easy thing to process through, if one can really process it at all.
Going to add as I have several times this year the overall lackluster-ness of this year. Very much (IMO) the worst year for Legends since it's full swing return in 2014. Adding that last year was probably the second worst, it's really affected my engagement for the line. I keep hoping for some of the upper tiers of my want list to be checked off, but there's only been two that have been, with Siryn and classic Dr. Strange. I finished the Bonebreaker wave (minus Wolverine), and will probably get the entire Controller wave except for Iron Man, but aside from Siryn I'm not really that excited about any of it, if that makes sense. But that's okay. 2014-2017 were really great years, and 2018-2020 were spectacular, with the high point for me being 2019. So many figures got crossed off as made, I'm now down to 25 figures (not including any additional AOA figures) that I'm really wanting badly, including new/remakes/alternate outfits. I'm sure I'll buy more than that, but that's a nice number for standard 616 universe figures. And I'll gladly purchase anything AOA of course. Just really hoping that next year can knock a figure or two out of my top 10 wants, since this year doesn't appear to be doing so. |

I agree about Legends this year but it also doesn't help that Hasbro takes forever to get waves out. Wakanda Forever and Controller Wave have October release dates and D+ wave is allegedly coming out in November that's what gamestop says.
Hasbro is the king of Pre-orders Let's announce a shit ton of product that's just pre-orders. Notice how every other toy company announces a product/products and gets the product out like a month later IE Mcfarlane NECA Mattel etc. While Hasbro takes 4-5 months. I'm a NECA consumer and this is generally false in my experience, most of their products spend at least 4 or 5 months as pre-orders. I love their stuff but I think all of my most recent pre-order arrivals from them were about year-long waits.

OK NECA is a stretch cause I am still waiting for my NECA 85 Doc I have had on pre-order since April with Gamestop. Ya I can get it at Target but I'll wait since I got free shipping

Madame Hydra arrived today:
I guess I'm happy as I've been wanting her on my Cap shelf for a while, but also just kind of meh at the same time. Not sure why they went for the old appendages for her when the pinless ones exist though.

I’m sorry for your loss…I can not understand what your going through, but I emphasize for you…The last 4 years have been hard on me, lost my best friend (brother-in-law), father, and stepfather, which were all great men and great counsel to me, which is why I got back into collecting, to have some distraction for me, from their losses. But, it get easier, but I have also notice I have become hardened, because I must for my family, my mom and sister…I have to keep pushing, and living for those loved one that have passed because I know that they are looking down from heaven at me….Idle hands is the devil’s work, so keep yourself busy in positive ways, hobbies, workouts, enjoy the fresh air at parks, and surrounding myself with family are some of things I do to cope…Hope you feel better…My next thing I’m looking at is getting a dog at the end of the year, so I have I can take on my adventures of life…No matter rich or poor, the human condition is hard on all of us at different points in our lives.

If the Engine of Vengence Haslab project doesn't get fully funded with all tiers included, what other options are their to release a Marvel Legends Mephisto and an updated Blackheart? In the Retro Ghost Rider line as deluxe figures maybe? Heaven knows that Blackheart needs an update and Mephisto needs to be made in general. (No pun intended)
