Hey, look who my Target finally got in today. They only had one.
Thank the gods he was actually in the box. He's cool, but I'm not a fan of them once again making the coat hard. Also, is it really that hard to give some thwipping hands to Noiry? Yes, he still did webslinging in the comic, just not as often.

And now VHS Cyclops is shipping early. Come on Hasbro, can you at least wait until I get paid before you rape me again?

I was feeling pretty crummy yesterday, but I watched the livestream. Finally feeling well enough to comment about it. We're definitely getting a Ch'od BAF or deluxe release if they showed his pet thing. I'm hoping we have the main Starjammers by the end of 2023. They're giving us Corsair, I'd settle for Raza and Hepzibah and I could call it a day.
I'm looking forward to the new Blob, although I still very much like the old BAF. Outback Rogue looks fine enough, I'll buy her, no argument there. And the 3 packs look great! A few thoughts on the next X wave Kid Omega looks fun. I'm glad that it's the current costume so I can put him on my HoX/PoX shelf. Astonishing Cyclops and Emma look fine. I'll get them but I'm not really blown away by them. Fang is great, more Shi'ar Imperial Guard please! As I said above, I'm excited for Corsair. M and Chamber are throwing me a bit. M's head looks odd to me and I feel like Chamber originally sported a Generation X red and yellow costume. Maybe I'm wrong. But I feel like he did the black shirt and pants much later so it'll throw off a unified team look. But as I said, maybe I'm wrong there. I'm happy to get him regardless. The Kraven and GamerVerse Spider-Man look fine enough but I'll probably skip both. As for the teases, I alread mentioned Ch'od's pet thing. I feel like the Rose tease is literally for the Spider-Man villain, The Rose who was Kingpin's son I believe. White suited body, purple masked head with glasses. Sounds easy. The Golf club has me stumped. Otherwise, I hope everyone else is doing well! |

On the livestream, I love the X-Men 3 packs, especially Psylocke. Very excited about Corsair, as well. Love Emma Frost and will get the Cyclops to go along with her, of course. Blob, I think he is the "must have" of the bunch. And, I can not wait to see the Ch'od BAF, even though I do not think I will get all the figures that come in the wave for him. I have a Kraven, but will not mind getting another one. The others, I feel, are any easy pass, because I do not know nothing about the characters or the costume or sculpt does not jump out at me.

Did anyone see the leaked listing for another Amazon exclusive? The one that is code-named "Brown". I hope it's Wolfsbane in her 90s X-Factor costume.

I guess Fan Channels exclusives are out of the question as well in your case. Would you prefer that 90s X-Factor Wolfsbane be a retailed Marvel Legends figure, either in an X-Men based Build-A-Figure wave or a Retro X-Men package?

They need to just do an X-Factor Wolfsbane, X-Force Feral, Excalibur Phoenix, and Giant Sized Banshee as a "Complete The Teams" Four Pack.

Fan channel stuff is okay but too sporadic and not always reliable to find.. Yes i would prefer wolfsbane as a general retail release as opposed non retail. Baf wave or retro carded as long as its at general retail ( walmart, target etc ).

When it was just the alleged former employee foretelling doom I was skeptical but then evidence just started stacking up. Diminishing listings, no new pre-orders, disappearance of existing pre-order pages, and putting brand new items on sale within days of receiving them all pointed to what they're just now admitting. It stings, I'm gonna miss them.

That's sad to see but not unexpected at this point. The first figures I ever bought from them were the DC Collectibles AK Batman, Scarecrow, and Harley Quinn. I bought them in person and strangely enough, the Youtuber FLYGUY was working for them at the time.
They were pretty good to me over the years and I'll miss them. |

Not to be a pessimist, but I wouldn't order anything from the site now. Given all the problems people had with it BEFORE they officially announced they'd be going out of business, it'd be silly(imo) to give money to a website with a shelf life of 11 days, and hope that they'll actually send out your product...

Hasbro likes 5-packs that they charge $125 for. So they'd have to add in Destiny and we can complete Freedom Force (minus the old guys that most people don't care about). I really want a Freedom Force and Outback era X-team. With Rogue coming, there is only armor Psylocke and shirtless Colossus left to go for that team. |

YES, but it needs to be a 5-pack.

Also, don't we still need the proper Storm for the Outback era on top of Gateway?

Well that's sad about Dorkside and now it's official, but not unexpected either given recent trends. I wish the people behind it nothing but the best in their next journey, whatever it may be.
I'll probably be sticking to Amazon now, or if I see something during the increasingly rare "hunts" that I go on. |

Outback Era X-Men costumes seem to have a little gray areas, like Storm and Rogue. I prefer mohawk Storm and jazzercise Rogue (which I have a custom of). So, for my collection, I only need Hasbro to make armor Psylocke and shirtless Colossus. I do always forget about Gateway, but it seems fairly unlikely that Hasbro will make one due to the lack of parts that could be reused. |

$56 for Blob? Yikes...but something funny occurred to me. When the original Blob wave was released, I think you could buy the entire wave for that much.
Yeah, I know not really a logical thought. Times and prices change, so I'm not complaining or expecting different, it's just funny. |

No, I meant Freedom Force. I'm totally adding the "FF" to my future Blob figure.

@Dr Kain - Here are the X-Men figures' links on Amazon.
Gambit/Banshee/Psylocke - https://www.amazon.com/dp/b0bk1wmyxq Storm/Styrfe/Jubilee - https://www.amazon.com/dp/b0bk1x5t7v Rogue - https://www.amazon.com/dp/b0bmmpbf6m Rogue is sold out and I cannot find Blob's link on Amazon yet. If you'd like either figure, I have included the links to the figures at Big Bad Toy Store an Entertainment Earth, respectively. Blob BBTS link - https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Produ...Details/225441 Blob EE link - https://www.entertainmentearth.com/p...figure/hsf7019 Rogue BBTS link - https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Produ...Details/225445 Rogue EE link - https://www.entertainmentearth.com/p...figure/hsf7039 I hope this means we'll a Generation X figure soon for Jubilee (hopefully with a smiling alternate head) and other characters like Banshee, White Queen, Skin and Penance. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed for '70s costume and '90s Jim Lee costume remakes for Cyclops with a new head sculpt and an optic blast. I'm so disappointed the Astonishing figure for Cyclops didn't include one. |
