^ Lucky... since Tom Holland signed on to do a bunch more Spidey movies I am sure we will see more MCU Peter Parker figs, but not so sure we will ever see another Ned figure get made.

When do you think Ghost Rider will get his anniversary Marvel Legends line? Just asking.

I think the retro-carded figure and the failed Haslab were it for GR's 50th. I don't think he's high-profile enough to have gotten a fully dedicated assortment, as is only Spider-Man has been prominent enough as a single character to get anniversary special treatment.

Lucky. One Target had it for $46 and the other was $37. For $15, I would have definitely snatched it up.

Someone said there won't be due to the failure of the Haslab.

Edit: some folks on the Fwoosh have pointed out that his hands are reused, and have the wrong number of fingers. Sometimes I wonder if they actually *read* these comics. That said, still very happy to have Ch’Od! Last edited by Ultra Seven; 01-09-2023 at 09:47 AM.. |

Not a surprising reveal, but a good one nonetheless. I wonder what I"ll end up doing.
with the Bonebreaker wave I eventually caved and bought all 6 figures to complete the BAF, but I'd already wanted 3 of them for sure. This wave I only want Monet for sure, so I wonder if I'll eventually cave to get all the 6 BAF singles. What drew me to the BB wave was the amount of brand new never done before characters, and it's the same here. Hoping for a fantastic wave next year. Would be a dream to see: Angel (1960's version with blue/white outfit) Banshee (GSXM outfit) Psylocke (outback armor outfit) Wolverine (New X-Men outfit) Storm (HOX/POX Outfit) Destiny Exodus BAF: Emplate? Cameron Hodge? Adversary? Any would work for me. With 5 core X-Men, that would give us looks from the 60's 70's, 80's 00's and '10's. |

Hasbro is pulling some truly heinous crap as of late. Look up the fiasco around the "Open Gaming License" for Dungeons and Dragons (D&D is part of Hasbro subsidiary WotC) if you want to see what I mean.

Well, truth be told, I didn't really care about the hell charger, or Robbie Rayes, Goblin Queen or Hellstrom, all I wanted was Mephisto.

Is MCU Classic Loki supposed to have a dent on the top left of his helm or is it a molding error?

Yeeeessss! This would be a fantastic X-men wave line up. Perhaps even too perfect to be true. 5 out of 7 of these would be must buys for me. I keep getting the sinking feeling though that Hasbro is totally gonna offer Outback Psylocke in a multi pack. I actually wouldn't mind too much if done right (for me, of course.) I could go with Wolverine, Storm with the lightning bolt, Armored Psylocke, Shirtless Colossus, and Gateway. Any other combo for that era would not be as inticing to me.

Hey, it's my first post of 2023! Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend!
My two cents on recent reveals and updates: - I think the biggest problem with the Ghost Rider HasLab was that there were too many things included that fans either wanted to see sold separately (like Madelyne Pryor and Mephisto) or didn't want to get at all (like the Hell Charger). It was really dumb of Hasbro to not give Ghost Rider a full Marvel Legends wave, but they didn't make anniversary waves for Ant-Man and Hulk either. Heck, Thor got stuck with the 'Love and Thunder' wave that peg-warmed bad and a lot of folks didn't like the film for his 60th anniversary year. I do hope we get more Ghost Rider figures in the future. I'd love a Legendary Riders release for Ghost Rider with his motorcycle. - After seeing Ch'Od, it is an ugly, inaccurate, improperly-painted mess on a too-small body mold. He really should've been in a Starjammers boxed set with characters like Hepzibah and on a bigger body mold. With Covid on the rise on China, is that why we're seeing more re-releases and repaints lately to keep products coming out earlier? It seems to me that a lot more figures are getting remakes and re-releases sooner and sooner. - Captain Nash, if I could, I'd give you all my money for that wave (except for Wolverine, as I loathe the Grant Morrison/Frank Quitely era, but to each his or her own). Destiny, Psylocke and Exodus are all long overdue, and personally I'd take Cameron Hodge as the Build-a-Figure. I'm still waiting for '70s Cyclops with an optic blast, early 80's/Secret Wars green X-Men suit Rogue, red-and-white suit Angel with the chest halo emblem, Outback black suit Storm with the lightning bolt emblem, and Acolyte suit Colossus. It'd also be nice to get new sold-separately figures of classic Magneto, classic White Queen, classic Mystique, classic Pyro, brown-and-tan costume Wolverine, and Jim Lee Blue Team/Gold Team versions of Colossus, Psylocke, Jean Grey, and Cyclops with an optic blast (Seriously, why haven't we gotten a Jim Lee Cyclops figure with an optic blast accessory from Hasbro yet? Wasn't the last time that happened was the Toy Biz "X-Men vs. Street Fighter" Cyclops figure with the bomber jacket?). - As a side note, I hope that we'll get more non-exclusive "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" figures this year. I never was able to order Wal-Mart's cel-shaded Spider-Man and Wal-Mart messed up sending me their exclusive Lizard on the Retro Toy Biz packaging. When I ordered the first one, it was sent to the wrong address and I never got my toy or money back. The second time, Wal-Mart never sent it out and the price is now $60 and up on Wal-Mart from other sellers, and I got my money back. I hope future figures for characters from the "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" wave will be easier to find. I'm curious to see which characters end up making the cut. I hope you all are having a wonderful day and stay safe. |

Ch'od isn't too terrible on the body they chose, even if it is old and outdated. My biggest complaint is the lack of any yellow paint apps.
It currently looks like someone who kinda familiar with comics drew Abomination from memory. I realize Ch'od and Abomination DO look fairly similar in the comics and that is why Ch'od needs the yellow paint apps. MarvelousNews has what look like renders with the yellow, but it seems like Hasbro went cheap on the final product. Easy for me to say Ch'no to this X-Men wave. I hate how M turned out, but I might pick up Chamber when it hits clearance. Kinda wanted Corsair, but if I'm skipping Ch'od, I don't need Corsair. X-men are the main focus of my collection, so it feels really weird to me that I'm probably going to skip an entire wave. |

If nothing else, I'd rather the BAF be an Alien Brood or the Storm that is included is her version from the Outback era after she dropped the jacket and mohawk.

![]() ![]() Picked up Sharon Carter, thus completing Infinity Ultron. Only being the one figure off from finishing the BAF was probably my main motivator but Sharon is still nice on her own. The baton and large knife (I want to call it a Bowie but the shape might not be quite right) are different but welcome accessories, although the knife is very soft plastic. Her likeness isn't bad and I like how the hoodie under the jacket is also a separate piece. I'm pretty sure I've posted this before but Infinity Ultron wasn't exactly something I was clamoring for, his episodes were entertaining enough but the only specific appeal the design held for me was that it clearly drew heavily from the Annihilation: Conquest comics. Thematically it remains the case that they seem to have mixed up BAFs between this wave and the next because Khonshu would've made way more sense here and Infinity Ultron there. As for the figure itself I mostly enjoy having it. In the cartoon he was a bit bigger than this but at the same time this is just supposed to be Vision's body wearing a suit of armor so only being marginally large kinda makes sense. His legs are really thin from the front which is an odd contrast with how heavily armored his torso is, the Hot Toys version also seems to be doing this so maybe it is accurate to some merchandising renders or both companies made the same mistake since the thighs weren't this skinny in the animation. The chest armor is flexible enough that it hinders articulation far less than one would imagine at first glance. His lance is over 10" long and does notably add to his presence (let the juvenile among you find a joke here). The paint is fairly light since he's mostly just cast in the metallic plastic but where it does exist it's cleanly applied, his cape does sport a couple of spots of cel-shading. At the end of the day it's a different, pretty neat looking Ultron and I always like getting good Ultron figures.

Side note to Hasbro, I'm disappointed we're not seeing a Thunderbolt or New Warrior in the rumored line up for 2023. I really dislike this whole thing they do for producing half a team, slowly, maybe even just once a year, and then after several years just stop. They may not be the 90's X-Men, mainstay Avengers or the Fantastic Four, which they've pretty much covered, but those teams do have some degree of popularity.
