![]() Looks pretty good! I'm doing that; couldn't figure (heh) out what to do with that noggin. EDIT: Where are the arms from? |

Those are the King Valkyrie arms, I swapped them at the bicep with the x-men 3 pack arms, the glove cuffs are an overlay, so the slide off with a litte heat

Thanks for giving me the recipe and I dig that X-Gold line-up.
Looking at your Iceman and thinking about the new Select makes me wish we could somehow get Bobby’s power inhibitor belt. I don’t need a new figure, I’m happy with the retro but I wouldn’t mind if they inserted the belt somewhere. |

PSA, the Ch’Od wave & the exclusive Yondu are starting to hit half-off clearance at Target Stores.
Finished the Ch’Od wave today, absolutely delighted with him. Despite the wrong number of fingers, he’s pretty much everything I had hoped for. |

Cool, I'll pick up Corsair if I see him for $12. None of my stores ever got in a full wave, so I don't see a point in buying just some of them, at least, right now.

Still as funny as it was initially, but...
You've never commented on any photo I’ve posted, let alone twice in almost as many days. I feel compelled to check in: are you joking, or is this something deeper regarding violence, animals, the appropriateness of content on this site, or, all of the above? I’m genuinely asking... I appreciate you checking in, but I'm just joking! I just found that hilarious and I just had to imagine what Lyle's reaction would be (if he was real). I know the difference between fantasy/comic versus real life. I'm also someone that's not easily offended. It's all good, but I appreciate you checking! |

I haven't?!?! Really? Wow, I think that's because I concur what most already said, your photos are top notch, and the lighting and backgrounds are excellent!

Thanks for the kind words, I wasn't fishing for compliments, but appreciate the words no less. I've wanted to ask this for a while now, but didn't you used to post your own photos years ago? If I'm recalling correctly, you posted some great photos here and on "cool stuff." |

Like I said, I'm a pretty easy-going guy, not easily offended, but let's just say not everyone here's like that. You, and Harbinger, and several others are cool, but after couple of "run-ins" with some of the other ones, I decided to scale back on my posts on here as well. Just not worth it to get into some of these discussions. |

I just saw this on Marvelous News. Looks like Walmart will have Joe Fixit and the new Bucky Cap available July 18th. At least that's when their Collector Con starts.

I used to be a lot more active here, for sure, and yes, I used to take more time to take photos. However, as you well know, good photos take time to set up, and I just don't have that much free time anymore. So I just enjoy coming here to see everyone else's photos.

Just not worth it to get into some of these discussions. Anyway, thanks for letting me know that my memory was correct and that you did snap photos. IIRC you snapped some pics of 4H’s original Sir Gideon, right? Also, given your wit, I seem to remember some entertaining and funny photos as well. FYI – and I’ve said this to others here, like redfox – when I joined the Ark, yours and the many other photos posted on this thread, and the Marvel thread before this one, were my inspiration for getting into the photo side of the hobby. Thanks for that, as it truly brings me joy to compose and share. And, yes, it is time consuming, but when creating a set-up, I do a little bit each day while juggling my responsibilities to work, family, and friends. Takes about a week, with fine tunning/tweaking on the weekend. I hope you get some time again, soon, as your skills were on point and inspirational. EDIT: in other news - My Rose figure, in isolation, I've ordered the entire wave, is being prepped for shipment from BBTS. Take that as you will regarding whether we can expect to see the other figs from that line-up soon. I also received my Cho-Hulk wave today... My Target had Corsair, Cyclops, and Chamber for $12 while Monet was $17. No need for Cyke since he doesn't come with a Ch'od part, but I did grab Corsair and Chamber (will wait to see if I can find Monet for $12). Hopefully I can find Emma and the others for $12, but I have not seen a single Kid Omega nor Fang on the pegs once, so who knows. Ii've opened Corsair, but the only way I'll keep Chamber is if I can get the others, otherwise back to the store he goes.

Well, I can’t really say much as I have been a party to many such convos here. While I don’t regret speaking my mind, I do understand that’s not what people come here for, so I’ve tried to temper myself. Additionally, I’m trying to get better at not letting my disagreements over personal “poli-tricks” prevent me from finding common ground, even friendship, with people on the other side of the political divide. If I truly believe that we are better, as humans, together than we are apart, then I must walk my talk.

You know, disagreements and convos never bother me. That's what a board is for! Through many disagreements here, I learned a lot of things. How else could you learn both sides of the issues? It's when things get nasty and attacks get personal, or people attack you out of spite just for being on the other side, that I don't enjoy. So I've decided to no longer fuel any fires. I'd say majority of the time you're very civilized, you state your points. Well. Whenever you get into it with someone, I grab a bucket of popcorn (and a dictionary) and see how it comes out. Ha ha.

Found a Blob in-store at GameStop. Luckily, I'm part of their rewards program thing and was able to get him with a pretty nice discount.

With SDCC two weeks away and Hasbro confirming they'll be attending, I wonder what will get shown that's brand new/not seen before (even if it has been rumored).
X-Men 97 wave? Something for Deadpool, if production is far enough along on those figures - which is possible it's not, since the movie was supposed to come out Nov. 2024 instead of May 2024. More Spider-man figures? Possibly the next Vintage wave? With it being only two weeks away, it's great we'll have more of an idea for things for 2024. |

Wow! Since the GameStop around my way started selling Marvel Legends less and less, I stop going in the stores frequently. I guess I’m going to have to start visiting their stores more often…
