I doubt we'll get a General Ross anytime soon if at all from legends but I don't think we could get a more perfect stand-in. This guy is from Operation Monster Force, an exclusive original line on BigBadToyStore. The preorder is up but ETA is the second quarter of ....2025. At least there's clearly a large time gap to make decisions but I wish I had this guy in hand since last yesterday. Also it just me or does this guy look exactly like Carl Weathers? |

Went to four Targets that were on our pathway to home tonight. First one had all of the Avengers multipacks on clearance for 50% off, but they did not have Hawkeye (nor Scrap Iron for GI Joe). Second Target was the same, but for GI Joe they had Shipwreck for 50% off and Rock n Roll for 25%. Third Target had everything instock, but none of them were on clearance. Fourth Target had 2 Hawkeyes and 1 Scrap-Iron. Oh, and two of those Targets had the new Black Widow for 50% off as well. The Target with all of those Indiana Jones figures I posted a few days ago also had all of them for 50% off, so I decided to grab myself an Indy.
![]() EDIT: So my impressions of the stuff I got today: Captain Marvel - It is nice to finally have the real Captain Marvel in my collection. I think she will go nicely on my Spider-Man shelf, though I'm not sure who I should pit her against yet. The sculpting is excellent, especially for the hair and the single jointed arms work. I just wish she had more accessories or something. Dr Doom - Um, he's cool I guess. I don't know why he looks robotic since I have yet to read Secret Wars (just read the X-Men issue where they are apparently spirited away to the Secret Wars, so now might be the best time to do so before I continue reading X-Men). THe unmasked head is very cool, though he lacks scars. The figure kind of stinks not having pinless joints. Hawkeye - Good god, this figure is a mess. First off, is he supposed to have a gap between his torso and waist? I know they gave him a cloth piece so he could sit down, but there's like a 2CM gap between them and it looks very ugly because of it. He also can't sit on the cycle for shit as there is nothing to peg him into. Furthermore, what the hell is Hasbro's obsession with doing an archer figure and NOT give him the proper hands to hold his arrow? What was the point in giving the figure a single arrow to shoot when he can't hold it? The peg on the hands also don't allow him to aim his bow right either. This is a huge let down as the sculpt work is impeccable. I love that his chest armor is all sculpted rather than being this weird plastic piece that goes over the body and can never be adjusted straight like the previous version I had. Oh, but the arm bands suck for the same reasons they sucked on 90s Cyclops and Havok. The cycle itself is cool looking. Grey Hulk - I'm not a huge Hulk person, and I typically prefer the grey version over the green one, so this dude rocks. Of course, I don't remember the story reasons as to why he sometimes goes grey. Anyway, both heads look incredible and seem reminiscent to what he looked like in the Claremont X-Men comics he appeared in. I do find the orange torn shit piece a bit weird, but it does make sense since the Bruce figure has a matching shirt. Bruce himself is all right. He's what you expect from the outdated suited body. I do like that his glasses are removable, however, his head look more like it belongs to Peter Parker than Bruce Banner. Neverthless, it is cool to have another civilian figure, and one that was practically free if you think that I paid $30 for just Hulk.

So pulsecon is today right? Hoping for more Avengers-related reveals, maybe Count Nefaria if the rumors are true (nothing I haven't said already lol) and maybe an estimated release date. Next year I'm sure but when....
I don't expect this, but I'd also love to see something of X-Men past Animated '97 wave. Oh! Maybe we'll see the rumored Angel or some of the rumored Wolverine two packs. Ya'll know I'm hoping for Armored Outback Psylocke... |

PulseCon's about to do Marvel Legends stuff. The link is here:
Sorry I haven't talked much lately. My two older sisters and I have had Covid since August 31st. I've been negative for about five days, but my sisters have pneumonia and my eldest sister's been hit the hardest due to her existing health problems. PulseCon will be a nice distraction for me today, so I hope we'll see some cool reveals today. I hope you all are doing well and please stay safe and healthy. |

Weird that Andrew Spidey comes on an ASM2 themed card instead of a No Way Home version. I assume it’s ‘cuz they didn’t have the rights to do an unmasked version from No Way Home…

That Void wave was made for me!
![]() People will complain but they don't buy these things anyway, so whaaah, whaah… I’m slightly surprised by the lack of MCU collector enthusiasm given the high-quality of GG, Ock, and that Garfield head sculpt (that body ain’t too bad either). Fairweather, I guess… |

It was a pretty decent set of reveals. Weird that they chose this version of Namorita. It's probably her least recognizable look. I'm still going to buy it though.

Getting a Marvel Legends Namorita but not in either of her 90's looks is some Monkey's Paw business.

I'm so on the fence about the Void wave. Justice for sure of course. Vison, Black Panther, Power Princess, THIS version of Namorita and Namor are all uninteresting to me. I'll get flack for this but not that interested in Crystar either.
Sad there's no Count Nefaria - I may have to change my avatar! Though the Namor head could be used as a proxy Graviton head if I can find a good body to match it with. Namorita is very puzzling since she's really not known for this version. The Void looks very cool but didn't really have a hankering to add to my collection. As a single/deluxe figure I'd get it but I'm not enticed enough to get the entire wave. Oooooh Red Widow! You know, I don't care about Red Widow so I'm going to call her Crimson Cowl and get her. It's close enough. Last edited by Captain Nash; 09-22-2023 at 12:47 PM.. |

So the Matt Murdock body is new?
I'm hyped for Black Panther. This is the costume I've been wanting. |

Were a bit of opposites on this wave, except for Justice and PP. Everything in this wave is a win for my collection. AND, FINALLY, Hasbro provided fists for this Namor and my previous two! |

Yeah I found this to be a very strong wave.
I'm probably not gonna be all in on the No Way Home figures, but goddamn did they knock Green Goblin out of the park. That headsculpt is really good. They teased Electro and Lizard at the end, so I can only assume they'll be in a future Infinity Saga/flashback wave. Last edited by hasbroherofan; 09-22-2023 at 02:13 PM.. |

Unlike GI Joe, Marvel was a whole lotta nothing from me. On one hand, I'm glad it saves me money, on the other, I'd like to spend my money.
