Regarding the costume choice, I truly hope they stick with the more classic appearance without the pants. I feel like the above image for the Jewel may have been altered because of its location and the amount of skin shown in the original artwork. If Hasbro can release Mockingbird with bare legs, this version of Ms. Marvel should be just fine.
![]() ![]() Honestly, pants or not, I'm just hoping the figure has the same hair style that's in the Avengers Beyond Earth's Mightiest profile shot artwork. The same artwork that Hasbro used at their SDCC both. I've always hated her 1970's hair style and the update they gave her in the anniversary artwork is so much nicer. ![]() Personally though, my preference for this costume is Moonstone's Dark Ms. Marvel costume from the War of the Marvels storyline. It's the closest I'll get to an Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes version of Ms. Marvel without making a custom. ![]() |

To reiterate what others have said, Wasp looks PERFECT. Especially given that the team’s alluded to alternate heads. |

Shoot! It is looking more and more like Giant-Man is not getting backed. Man, I do feel very sorry for the ML team. I really wanted this figure, too! I hope they find some way to release Giant-Man at retail some how or something.
Note: Maybe the ML team can do a HasLab that will not take 10,000 to back it, maybe cut down the number to 5,000 or something, considering that close to 8,000 people are back it currently.

I think not including tier figures for the Giant-Man figure really hurt its chances. It could also be the timing too, since a summer release like June or July might have worked better for backing Giant Man rather than have it happen in October. It's a shame too, because the figure looks great and I honestly thought it'd get more backers. After the Ghost Rider HasLab failed and now Giant Man might fail, I'm curious as to what that means for the Marvel team, what they do next, which character they do next and how they will handle its funding going forward. At least we have the Wasp figure next year. I can't wait to add classic Wasp to my collection!
Though it's really unfortunate Giant Man might not get backed, as others have said, I hope he gets released somehow down the line. I am curious to see what 2024 has to offer for Marvel Legends, especially since "X-Men '97" is becoming a priority, "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" will get more VHS packs next year for the series' 30th anniversary, and the next big anniversary wave will be revealed. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that "Secret Wars" will get anniversary figures to go along with the Monica Rambeau/Doctor Doom two-pack for this year. Time, and Hasbro, will tell... EDIT: To those unaware, Rektangular also has a new video up and says in 2024 we will get an Avengers Retro wave, an Avengers Build-A-Figure wave, a Spider-Man Retro wave, a Disney Plus wave, a 'Captain America: Brave New World' movie wave, a deluxe Sam Wilson Captain America figure, and an Iron Man comic book wave on the Retro card. The Wolverine anniversary two-packs, and three-packs, rumor was mentioned here too. I'm keeping my fingers crossed we'll see some "Iron Man" animated series figures for the Retro wave. Blizzard and the Mandarin would look cool. Last edited by StuartGreen2019; 10-23-2023 at 12:09 PM.. |

If they really want to use this modified costume, actually include it in present day stories. She has other cooler canon outfits they could adapt to action figures though.

I'm dumbfounded that the Haslab has struggled as much as it has.

Yeah, I am too. I mean, I personally hate Hank Pym, so Giant Man did not interest me, but I thought at the $200 price point he was a breeze to reach 20,000 by now.

Things have taken a good turn on the Haslab. Feeling less indifferent and more excited about this project.

I'm thrilled to be proven wrong! I'm so glad that Giant Man made it to the finish line and is now at 12,326 of its goal of 10,000 backers! Bring on that awesome classic Wasp to go with Hank!

I was so worried about the funding, that I was about to pull the trigger on the old Toy-Biz Giant-Man, which I had in my possession at one time, but regrettable sold it few years back. But, now those regrets are out the window. I am over the moon about Giant-Man getting backed. Thanks to all that funded and made this possible.
Note: I can not believe that the tier for the skrull alternative head was just missed by 111 backers. So close, but so far away. Dang! Yesterday surge to back Giant-Man was unbelievable.

Speaking of having both, I’d like a Quasar 2pk with Wendell and Phyla in their current looks. I’m happy to have a late 80’s Wendell, but I need a look that reflects Wendell from one of the three Annihilation stories. And, I’m growing very frustrated at the wait for Phyla. Moondragon is a good sign that Phyla might be coming, but I’m becoming a little antsy.
Edit: I just learned that Quasar is sharing his abilities with Avirl, so make it a 3 pack. Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 10-28-2023 at 12:42 PM.. |

If you are referring to Ms. Marvel, I would be all in on both costume versions in comic form of her. Maybe the Marvel Legends team can think about including her in a comic 2 pack like this? Sometimes I wish the Marvel Legends team would think about making a 2 pack of the same person, but just in different uniforms. Or maybe even a comic 3 pack, with Bradley, Steve Rogers, and Falcon all in different uniforms from their eras as Captain America. One can only wish and dream.

Oh I hope that means we get some more classic versions of characters like a Romita Hobgoblin.

I would love to see more Retro Spider-Man comic book figures. I'd prefer to see a full Retro wave this time, though. I really don't want to see any new characters like Rek-Rap or anyone from Zeb Wells' run make the cut. I'm honestly shocked that we haven't gotten A-listers like Chameleon, Vulture, Carnage, and some kind of Doctor Octopus (classic green and orange suit, white Armani suit, black leather early 2000s look, or even Lady Octopus) on the Retro card by now. I do hope the rumored Retro Jack O'Lantern listing is real, it'd be the perfect reveal for Halloween.
And yes, we really need a new John Romita Jr. style, comic book accurate figure for the Hobgoblin. I hope we'll get an alternate head or two and a new improved glider that actually stays on his feet. |

Spidey related?
Hoping for Spider Man India, Stegron, Calypso, comic Spot, and Squid. Or at least one or two of these. |
