well all i can say is that Hasbro's been doing a pretty good job with making and releasing some of the good Age of Apocalypse figures.

Im expecting/hoping for more of them next year. There's still Age of Apoalypse Gambit, Abyss which would have to be a build a figure; Age of Apocalypse Bishop, Age of Apocalypse accurate Mr Sinister with Shadow King in a jar

It gets harder and harder every year to narrow it down to just 10 and the Top 10 is usually dominated by mutants, from X-Men and X-Force to the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and everything in between.

Since we're seeing delays for all of the Marvel Studios films, I'm curious as to what Hasbro will do for substitute waves. I'm still hoping for a Retro Secret Wars wave and more of the Avengers anniversary wave (fingers crossed for a Jack Kirby-esque Hulk in purple trunks and a new comic Loki with a cape), though I'd personally love to see something done for Daredevil too. It'd be really, REALLY nice if we could get a classic red suit Daredevil figure that's sold separately. We also need a new Marvel Legends wave for The Incredible Hulk. It's absurd how most of the Hulk's friends and foes haven't been made into figures yet over the past few years.

On the subject of Marvel Cinematic Universe figures, there are plenty of characters from films and Disney Plus series that still need figures and it'd be nice to see more X-Men movie figures, especially of the main cast from 'X2', Quicksilver from 'Days of Future Past' and X-23 from 'Logan'. I could see 'Deadpool 3' getting more than one wave if it's the only M.C.U. film that year. I'm also shocked, no pun intended, that the Shocker from 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' hasn't been made yet. We'll see what Hasbro ends up doing over the next year onwards as a result of the delays from the writers and actors strikes.

I hope you all are having a great day and have a wonderful weekend. Stay safe, True Believers.

The only figures I want in the Retro Iron Man wave are Crimson Dynamo, Blizzard (90s Animated), and Mandarin (90s Animated).

My top 10 won't be done until January. Mainly because there's still 3 potential figures in my top 10 that are rumored to be coming. Holding off in case those are revealed in December. As of right now only one from my top 10 from last year's has been made but hey at least it was my #1 want.

The NWH wave is showing up at walmart and they aren't street dating it so you can buy them there.

Target still says 11/26 for the wave.

Just saw that Pulse is having it's annual holiday sale. 35% off for Pulse Premium members, 25% off for non-members. I feel foolish for grabbing a bunch of stuff at full price when I could have gotten a discount now. A lot of it is the same stuff that was clearanced at Target a few months ago.

Jeez, I don't even know who would be in my top 10 this year because most of the figures from this year I got were lackluster. I only bought them for like a BAF.

Was Blob this year? Or was he last year?

This year had the Yellow/Blue 3 packs, right?

I have a Top 10 list for 2023 started but I'm waiting for the NWH wave to come out.

Oh you mean a top 10 for legends released this year, not top 10 you want to see made.

Banshee for sure top the list.

Monet tops the list of "new character to the line." So glad we got her finally.

Blob is my favorite non-standard

Kang is my favorite MCU figure

The Orb is my favorite standard villain.

Wow...I'm apathetic about this year enough that I don't even feel like doing a top 10. just the various highlights. Hopefully 2024 is better (oh wait, it'll be better for sure since Justice is coming out).

Thanks to Amazon's early Black Friday sales I got MCU Kang and Kingpin for $17 each. I had hoped to snag a Kang at Target when they were discounted to $12 but never saw any on clearance and then at Walmart he plain sold out at full price. While the figure is seriously limited with its poor articulation considerations and lack of energy effects I do think it looks pretty good otherwise. D'Onofrio Kingpin was a figure I've wanted in the line since the Man-Thing wave I just didn't get one at full price since they didn't put 100% into it and instead re-used so much. I like it a good deal in hand though, they nailed the head and that sort of makes the rest of it work for me. An extra furious/battle-damaged head would've been great.

Walmart had some of the NWH figures today. So is Hasbro just going to milk Spider-Man by doing carded releases with no BAF because they can get away with selling them for the same price as figures with a BAF? Because I find that to be quite dirty.

Amazon just emailed me that my Final Swing NWH Holland Spidey should be coming next Tuesday.

Now hopefully I get a new release date for Tobey too.

Also Matt Murdoch and MJ have tomorrow release dates on Amazon

Black Friday sale on the 5 pack. Only a handful of characters left to finish off the West Coast Avengers; Living Lightning, Firebird, Mantis, Swordsman, Jim Hammond Human Torch, a new Machine Man and Moira Brandon. I need to pick up extras of Quicksilver and Darkhawk too since the ones I have are in different displays

A run down of available Yelenas:
The Yelena from the Crimson Dynamo BAF line has removeable metallic gray gauntlets. Very much the Black Widow type texture gauntlets where it loos like lots of stingers with one big stinger that make the gauntlets. Figure has both left and right gauntlets
The Yelena from the Puff Adder BAF line has no gauntlets-neither a right nor a left gauntlet.
The Yelena from the Hydra Stomper BAF line has removeable gauntlets. Figure has a right and a left gauntlet. Gauntlets are black with red painted tipped on each stinger. These look the coolest to me.

I'm hearing two opposite accounts of Hydra Stomper wave Yelena here.

Maybe I'm miss understanding what was being referred to as a gauntlet. There are things on her wrists that come off that I'm calling a gauntlet but I'm probably wrong in calling them gauntlets? To confirm what I'm referring to as a gauntlet, I'm attaching a picture where I've circled in red the removeable 'gauntlet.' Envision what's on every Black Widow's wrists that is a solid black plastic painted with red dots/accents.

Mine may have been really stuck, I couldn't budge them
