Today's What If episode is where that Goliath figure from the most recent D+ wave of figures comes from

Oh, is What If coming out now? Is it better than the first season? I hated the first.

Does The One Who SHall Be Guilty appear in it?

First 2 episodes are out. they are airing 1 a day.

I enjoyed today's cause it had an 80's Avenger group (Hank Pym Ant-Man Winter Soldier Goliath Thor female version of Captain Mar-Vell and T'chaka ) Also Howard Stark and older Peggy were in it too.

Started watching the Nebula episode, but just found it boring and didnt finish it. And looking at that list of episodes, none of them look particularly intriguing to me other than the 1602 episode.

My Crystars are expected by the end of today. I just used the $4 shipping and I think I ordered Wednesday night so not sure what's going on with that but I'll gladly take it.

Yeah that’s pretty much how I felt, I tried watching the next one with a young Peter Quill and it was just lame as heck, with stupid contrivances and rushed characterization. Marvel is really striking out on all fronts lately, both comics and multimedia…

You could make a sitcom outta that. A new black king has to deal with having a buncha white guards his dad left him. Hilarity ensues.

Yeahh!! Love those last 2 shots! That glowing smoke effect kind of invokes some of the Crystar covers for me.

Anyways...definitely a huge character slot filled, mainly to complete the first main Busiek roster. Even if many of the outfits are wrong, all of the characters are now there! I think the only classic Avengers I'd really want now are Crystal and Living Lightening.

But I digress.

Main take on the Justice figure is how small he is. I realize it's "New Warrior's Justice" and he still had some growing to do, but I do wish they'd used a slightly taller mold. The hair is also accurate for that time though I do prefer his less messy look. But I acknowledge that I'm just extremely happy we got the character at all, and don't expect a reworked figure of him.

The paint job on mine looks good, I tend to have good luck with that, or am just not overly critical of paint jobs.

Onwards to 2024

lol Now that I've had a moment to check, there was a shadowy cover for the Dr. Strange guest appearance. The subconscious is an amazing thing. I had to do something despite running around for the past two days in a Christmas-madness rush. I was so very happy to receive it earlier than expected.

Yeah, not mine. Race based tropes and the anachronistic dynamics attributed to them, fortunately, are becoming a relic of the past in most communities.

What if Episode 3 was a Die Hard parody with Happy trying to save Avengers tower from Justin Hammer and Happy accidentally injects himself with Hulk Blood and becomes a purple happy hulk.

I actually wasn't looking forward to this one but I enjoyed it

I always liked Vance's Justice costumes, the Marvel Boy suit was really boring. Glad to hear they delivered a good figure. I'm hoping for a black and red Firestar and either a green suit or Kymaera Nita

Chrimbus Legends. Green Goblin is nigh perfect in my book. Casting so much in the metallic green and then only painting the silver, gold, and purple on the armor does sort of take away from noticing a lot of the little sculpted details that are actually there. I really do appreciate that they included the helmet here but this Willem Dafoe portrait is too great not to use. I dig the way that Agatha's cloak/scarf bit is a translucent purple, and the Kathryn Hahn likeness and expression are not bad at all. Some magic effect pieces would've been nice though. Blade's shoulder hinges are extremely limited by his jacket but this is the look for the character I'd been waiting for and they also served up a nice assortment of accessories with him. Clea is the first figure since the 3 pack Wanda that has me thinking "this face is too good for the rest of the line." The only thing I'd have preferred different was just plain open hands instead of fists for the alternates.

Today's What if? was basically Captain Carter and the Winter Solider/ Black Widow.

Carter had the blue stealth suit and The BAF of Hydra Stomper was in this.

Basically The Red Room got control of Steve/Hydra stomper and turned him evil to get to Carter/Black Widow.

Also cool shot of the alt Avengers in NY fighting Loki and the Chitari. Wasp was a member of that group.
