So bust.

I'm thinking it'll probably be the last Wolverine 2 pack. Maybe what ever the mini program is, possibly the Amazon 5 pack or a 97 wave 3 tease. Is it too early for SDCC exclusives?

Thanks for dashing my hopes on the turbulent, cold, and wet shores of disappointment. You are likely right. While I cannot imagine another force-fed Wolverine that would move the needle for me, let’s hope it’s a good dial up for whatever character they partner with him. Dare I say Deathbird, or Yukio? Those are two of the few that would really excite me, at this point.

And, yeah, SDCC is still 5ish months away.

EDIT: Was there a Hound Rachel tease? A flame effect, maybe? I forget...

Maybe Albert and Elsie Dee. I'd like a Titania and Absorbing Man 2 pack, and that could be in a Secret Wars mini program. Maybe we'll see Rachel or whoever that flame effect teaser was for

Ultron-1 while he was "evil" all he was was that he was a computer slab with eyes and no arms or legs or maybe he had arms or whatever once he started upgrading himself back in the day but he just kind of harmless to be gin with. at least H.E.R.B.I.E. got around with a wheel at the bottom of his body and HERIE had arms.

The next Wasps I want are insectoid Wasp (pre-Heroes Reborn), Unstoppable Wasp (Nadia), & MCU Janet Van Dyne.

I doubt I would nab an Albert and Elsie 2pack short of super stellar sculpts. I would buy multiples of a Titania/Absorbing Man 2pack and Hound Rachel in whatever manner they choose to deliver her.

We're missing 3 Wolverine adjacent characters, Gabby, Jimmy, and Akihiro. I suppose an updated Laura would be nice too

My guesses, which are always 100% wrong, would likely be something from the rumored Marvel Knights wave, at least the main two characters of 'Deadpool & Wolverine' given its July release date, another VHS Spider-Man two-pack (personally, I'm hoping for Felicia Hardy to get paired with another figure this year), and/or something Avengers or X-Men related. We have a new Spider-Man line for this year too, right? Maybe we'll see two or three figures from that.

I have no idea what to expect from these live-streams anymore and, to be honest, I'm not really a fan of them. I miss the good old days of the New York Toy Fair showing everything all at once so I knew what was being made, when it came out, and how to plan and save money to buy them. But now, every month is turned into a guessing game and I usually miss pre-orders or popular figures due to being perpetually broke since everything on my end keeps going up, from bills to groceries.

Reddit had an alleged leaked Astonishing X-Men Wolverine figure's body, not the head sculpt, so maybe it's Astonishing Wolverine with another character like Beast, Kitty Pryde or Colossus. I'm hoping we'll get a new sold-separately Colossus though, maybe on the '90s Jim Lee/Gold Team outfit. Heck, I'd even take his Acolyte suit.

I'm in agreement with Veronica Mars, we need a Titania and Absorbing Man two-pack. It'd be a great two-pack for whatever they end up doing for the rumored "Secret Wars" anniversary wave this December. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Captain America with a shield that doesn't have holes in it, classic Doc Ock on a new body mold with the bendy wire tentacles, an updated classic Thor, classic Doctor Doom, Cyclops, Rogue, Enchantress, Volcana, and an easier-to-find classic Lizard. Also, we really, REALLY need the Wrecking Crew. They're long overdue.

If it's an Astonishing 2 pack, I'm hoping for an updated Kitty, but I wouldn't be shocked if it's a Translucent Ch'od wave Emma

Am I the only one thinking the Secret Wars wave is just going to be retro packaged reissues of existing figs?

I don't think the original Mattel line had any characters that haven't already been made in it.

Could be, it might also be a couple multi packs, a deluxe figure and a one off single figure like the X-Men program last year

Disney has a presentation at CinemaCon this week. Depending on what they reveal for Deadpool & Wolverine, Hasbro could do a partial or a full reveal for the DP&W wave during their live stream on Monday.

I forgot about Emma's diamond form. A 2 pack would be a good wave to release it but I'd much rather have Kitty.

I guess it depends on whether it's a toyline homage wave like the Toybiz ones or a comic based wave.

@ Power Lord X - They could do reissues of existing figures, but they could also do figures from Waves 2 and 3 if they want. It'd be a great way to give us new figures for characters like classic Falcon, classic Hobgoblin, a sold-separately Daredevil, Iceman and Electro. I'd list Constrictor, but he's rumored to be in a two-pack this year. I could see Captain America, Iron Man (hopefully with a Jim Rhodes head sculpt), Spider-Man, brown-and-tan suit Wolverine, Doctor Doom and Kang or Magneto getting re-released as the main six figures with new accessories. As much as I'm hoping to see Doc Ock, he could seem unlikely due to the bendy wire tentacles and usually being sold in two-packs lately. We'll see what Hasbro ends up doing.

@ Veronica Mars - I could see some multi-packs getting made. There are plenty of character pairings they could do, like the main eight from Wave 1 of Mattel's "Secret Wars" wave and characters like Thor and Enchantress, Kang and Lizard, etc. I could see a Deluxe release for Hulk and/or Doc Ock with the bendable wire tentacles. Since we know of at least six figures getting made, maybe they can release more in 2025, like how the Marvel Legends Avengers 60th anniversary extended into 2024 too.

I was thinking if they were going to do multipacks like the training suit packs they could do Absorbing Man, Titania and Wrecker in one and the rest of the Wrecking Crew in the other. Volcana could be the single figure. I doubt they'd do that many villains though, but they could do a mattel card back Doom and get some reused from the 2 pack Doom tool

For the record I'm hoping it's an expanded line like the Retro X-Men and Iron Man are. I'm just keeping my expectations low.

I just noticed I wrote "Kang and Lizard" when I meant to write "Klaw and Lizard". My mistake.

@Veronica Mars - I don't know how many villains will make the cut for the "Marvel Legends" "Secret Wars" wave either, but I love all of your suggestions. Hasbro has shown they love to do boxed sets, so I could see the Wrecking Crew being sold as a boxed set as a Pulse exclusive or Amazon exclusive. So far, though, all we know about are the leaked listings of six figures. I'm trying not to get my hopes too high, but this is the most excited I've been about a Marvel Legends wave in a long time. And Hasbro DOES love revisiting popular waves with a second wave and/or fan channel exclusives continuing popular lines.

Also, I liked the new hair you put on your Invisible Woman figure.

@Power Lord X - I'm hoping it's an expanded line too. There are a lot of characters Hasbro can make for "Secret Wars". I just hope it's not a one-and-done wave of six inch figures when there are so many heroes and villains for Hasbro to choose from.

Got the notice, too! Hope this also is a sign that Haslab Giant-Man is around the corner as well!

That's the Super Skrull wave head with MCU Thena's hair.

Gamestop does not make you put anything down for figures
