And while we probably won't get show inspired versions, I also have a hard time believing that Hasbro will let some of the cameos go to waste like Punk Storm and classic Banshee. |

On one hand, I think Dan Yun is telling the truth. There are plenty of waves left this year, including some we probably don't know about. With the Marvel 85th anniversary and the rumored "Secret Wars" 40th anniversary wave, I could see some more X-Men figures being released that way. On the other hand, given how fast Hasbro is making and releasing "Marvel Legends" figures, I'm sure whatever wave they could release for early 2025 could probably be rushed out by December. After all, the Retro Iron Man wave got bumped up from July to late May, so who knows? As far as a third "Marvel Legends" wave for "X-Men '97" goes, I'd love to see Beast, Jubilee and Cable made. The same goes for Morph, Sunspot and Bastion. I'm also hoping for a figure of Storm in her current X-Men outfit.
I think the big takeaway here is that Dan Yun said they're planning 2025 and 2026. It's nice to know that Hasbro will be sticking with "Marvel Legends" for two more years that we know of and hopefully more to come. |

well, it would be great if other people would stop being scalpers/hoarders by jacking up prices for Blue Beast on Amazon and Ebay especially lab coat Blue Beast

Sucks about not getting a third 97 wave this year, but two was still pretty impressive given it’s the biggest commitment they’ve given to any of the Marvel shows thus far (Daredevil and Jessica Jones got a split MCU/comic wave and subsequent shows mostly got lumped together in generalized Disney+ waves). I’m sure there’ll be more figures given how massive the show is.

I may be out on a limb here, but I think there will be more X-men in the very near future of the Marvel Legends line. Just a hunch..

No doubt, but will it be a whole wave or mixed in like Cable and Wolfsbane?

We also have two more VHS animated series two-packs, if I'm not mistaken, and possibly some Fan Channel solo releases. I really hope Felicia Hardy makes the cut and we see some bad guys like Chameleon, the Lizard, Mysterio, the Shocker (it'd be nice to have a Shocker figure with eyes instead of lenses for a change), and Two-Face -- er, I mean, Herbert Landon. ![]() Since we have six "Secret Wars" figures leaked as listed for this December, I hope this means we finally, FINALLY get an easier-to-find classic Doc Ock with bendy wire tentacles, hopefully on a pinless body. It'd also be a great way to see a much needed update of classic Hobgoblin with the correct Goblin Glider accessory and maybe a new classic Electro since the Retro one is expensive now. For "Secret Wars", I hope we get some two-packs out of it along with solo figures. There are way, waaaaaay too many figures that need to be made or remade for this wave. |

Amazon wants 30 bucks for the Quantimania Wasp figure. They are crazy. I got Ant-Man for 16 after X-mas last year. That Wasp has always been pricey on Amazon and I don't get it. I'd love to upgrade my Ant Man & The wasp Wasp figure but not for that price
I would have thought by now all the MCU waves from last year would be on Clearance on Amazon by now Last edited by ThorOdinson123; 05-03-2024 at 02:35 PM.. |

Look for some out of the way Walmart in a small town. They may still have a Quantumania Wasp, probably at full price though. My Walmart still has the X-Men wave with Havok and Siryn.

More Spider-Man is a given. We still have another unconfirmed Spider-Man wave, right? Since the third 'Spider-Verse' film was delayed, it'd be great if we got a mix of movie figures (come on, 'No Way Home' Lizard and Electro...) and more Retro figures. I hope we don't get anymore modern characters from Zeb Wells' disastrous run on "The Amazing Spider-Man", as I don't want to see figures like Rek-Rap, Jackpot and Spider-Goblin peg-warming as badly as the comics are. I wonder if it's too soon to add some figures from Jonathan Hickman's "Ultimate Spider-Man" run.

I was thinking that we only had one more animated series 2 pack, but I'd happily take a second. The two previous ones have featured a guest hero from the show as well as a villain. The biggest guest stars that are left and not part of a larger team are Iron Man, Captain America, and Punisher. For the villains, I could see Herbert Landon in a 2 pack as he probably won't do well at retail. If there's a second 2 pack, I'm not sure who they'd pick as the villain. |

I don't think it's time to worry about more X-Men figures for the year just yet. There's the rumored Mystique/Destiny pack, and I may be wrong but I thought a Banshee/Syrin pack was also rumored?

@jwyss234 - I know we got Daredevil with Hydro-Man and Doctor Strange with Morbius so far, so I think we have two more two-packs left. I'm still hoping Felicia Hardy gets a release somehow. As for the heroes/villains, I don't know who the Punisher would be paired with if he gets made, since we already got Green Goblin (and an inaccurate one, at that). I could see Captain America with the Red Skull or with Electro and maybe the Chameleon with Nick Fury. Maybe we could get Iron Man with the Lizard since they were in "Secret Wars" or maybe a new Venom with an alternate Eddie Brock head. I'd be surprised, though, if we didn't get some kind of new classic Spider-Man for the VHS two-packs. Maybe Spider-Man with Spider-Carnage or with Stan Lee based on the series finale episode. However, given the random (re: stupid) pairings of the two recent two-packs of characters that never even interacted on the series, I have no idea who Hasbro would release next for their next "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" figures. All I know is, since this is the 30th anniversary year of the series, whatever they do, it won't be enough.
