But the Iron Man wave figure is her classic costume, the one that looks like the F4 suit in purple comes after, and the one in the above pic is her more modern costume

My most wanted more-effort-required Jen is lawyer She-Hulk. I really dig the figure we just got and look forward to its potential easy repaints but lawyer She-Hulk seems much less likely given it'd need a lot of new sculpted parts with little to no re-use factor.

With how she-hulk in this retro wave hyped, compared to even the iron man, I am confident with costume variants being made soon

It figures that I would get piecemeal notifications about Blacklash and Nefaria before any sniff of Cable and the completion of my all in on the Zabu wave. It almost feels like a penalty for going all in. An idiot-tax for still collecting with exuberance while interests wane for most collectors. Oh well, at least those were my most wanted from this Iron Man whatever this is...
EDIT: to correct the record, all of the Iron thing wave are being processed. Still no Cable, nor any understanding as to why Shulkie arrived a week in advance. EDIT: Whoops...further correction of the record, Shulkie has been added to my BBTS list and I now realize that last week’s She Hulk was my back up order from Amazon. Oy vey. I need a Rocket Money for toys... Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 05-29-2024 at 02:01 PM.. |

Mezco One:12 Collective Doctor Octopus with bendy wire tentacles. If you're not satisfied with your Marvel Legends Doc Ock figures, then this is a high-end option for you.

I'm not quite sure if it's the head being too big or the body being too slim but that Ock looks really janky to me.

I think the collar might be throwing things off. It makes the neck look really thick. I also think he’s based more on Ditko’s artwork. Ditko drew Ock with a big head and a slimmer body than we normally see him with today.

That Doctor Octopus is nice, but the head, and even the glasses, seem a bit big. Doc Ock's head looks a tad large on that body and the figure's body itself also looks a bit off. I know that artists had Doc Ock as slimmer and a bit buff at times (look at the early Doc Ock/Hammerhead stories for proof), but his body seems weirdly shaped for this figure. That said, I love the alternate heads for Doc Ock and the interchangeable lengths for the tentacles. I'm hoping for a smiling alternate head for the next classic Doctor Octopus figure, whenever Hasbro releases one.
I'm still hopeful we'll get a new, SOLD-SEPARATELY PLEASE HASBRO, classic Doctor Octopus with bendy wire tentacles for the rumored "Secret Wars" wave. I was expecting Doctor Doom to be in the rumored wave of six figures, but after seeing the reused (re: disappointing) Doom figure with the T-800 Terminator -- er, I mean, Doombot alternate head revealed for the new three-pack, that might not happen. Also, is it too much to ask for a new Doctor Doom figure with some "Kirby crackle" looking energy effect accessories for his hands instead of the same gun accessory used over and over? Not really for myself personally, but I just don't see why they can't do a deluxe Dr. Octopus with the bendy wires.

I am so tired of seeing most Doc Ock figures being sold as part of a two-pack. We got the 'Spider-Man 2' movie figure of Doc Ock as a Deluxe release, so why not do the same for comic book Doc Ock? I want to see a sold-separately figure of Doctor Octopus in his green-and-orange suit and the white Armani suit look as a Deluxe release, with new alternate head sculpts with different glasses, a new body mold (the 2018 body mold for Ock needs to be retired), and the bendable wire tentacles included. That'd be worth the $39 of the 'Spider-Man 2' Ock figure. Heck, I'll even take Octo-Spidey and classic Lady Octopus as Deluxe figures with the bendy tentacles! I really, REALLY hope that a new comic based Doctor Octopus gets included as one of the six figures for the leaked "Secret Wars" wave. Then again, my "Secret Wars" wishlist is a lot longer than just six figures... |

I just got my She-Hulk yesterday and I really love her. She has scratched that itch I've always had for a really good She-Hulk but I'm also immediately on board for any costume variants as well as any other big ladies they can make with these parts. Titania, Thundra, Red She-Hulk, or if they're being generous Poundcakes.

@Boogieman4hire - Titania would be cool. I hope she gets made into a new figure, along with the Absorbing Man, sooner than later.
Also, as a head's up, to those who want the 85th anniversary Skaar figure, Dan Yun confirmed on Twitter he goes up for pre-order next week. |
