Well he did have a light brown in the comics, but this looks more red to me.

				 | Quote: I wonder how he's getting released, could be from the Secret Wars rumor, could be a new 97 wave, could even be a Konami set to go along with the new Sentinels, or a Pryde of the X-Men set with a new Kitty or an updated Bryne Cyke. BIGGEST question tho, is THIS Dan's favorite Wolverine? |

The lighter color is more accurate to the arcade game and the Secret Wars figure

He said people are calling it Secret Wars, but there's no official confirmation. It wouldn't be surprising it's secret wars, the team mentioned getting a pinless Iceman out, plus rumors of a new Constrictor that could also fall under the Secret Wars banner

I've read a couple of positive reactions to Crystal and Lockjaw. However, it feels like these highly requested additions landed with a disappointing thud. Personally, I'm not satisfied with Lockjaw; the effort put into Zabu was not matched and neither head is to my liking. That said, after Mezco's efforts, the bar was set extremely high and it almost feels like Hasbro threw their hands up and decided they weren't going to be able to compete. Crystal is about what I'd expected, but it does grate on me that if you were going to phone it in like this, they could have done so much sooner. I just hope we can be done with this and they deliver Triton and Gorgon relatively soon.

True. And they don't necessarily need new hands there's the hands from 97 Storm and Moondragon or the ones from Spinnerette and boxset Dazzler

ROM should be the highlight of the reveals for me, and I have high hopes, based on what few pics we saw. However, I’m going to temper my enthusiasm until we see some size comparisons. Crystal looks pretty good, but Lockjaw is indeed underwhelming, for all the reasons TBM mentioned above. Between the uninspired paint apps, limited articulation, and vacant expression, this is a swing-and-miss. Wong looks great, so I’m down for this set. I don’t need another Strange, but the effects he comes with should look pretty good on the 2022 release. Dragon Man looks outstanding. Nothing else I’ve seen or read about is on my radar. |

Limited articulation? Lockjaw should have the same amount of articulation as Junkyard. Quote: I really wanted him to play Doom.

Ish, the swappable back legs allows him to actually sit which is something none of the Classified dogs can actually do

@firmpulse - No, it isn't. In "X-Men '97", Wolverine had the X belt buckle, not the yellow buckle. This is how Wolverine looked in "Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars", which is why it's being thought of as one of the six listed "Secret Wars" figures. I just hope when we get this re-released for a new "X-Men '97" wave, we'll have a darker shade of brown on the suit and an alternate angry head sculpt.

Decided to try a quick kitbash of Hawkeye. Took the head and swords from Ronin and trialing them on Disney Plus Hawkeye. Opinions?

Colossus is going up for preorder on July 31st. Retailers weren't mentioned on the slide at SDCC so he should be available everywhere. Along with the Colossus reminder, Dan Yun also posted a picture of the new Wolverine and simple wrote "Game". Make what you will of that. |

Yeah he doesn't like distinctly like anyone at all. Sidewinder in the comics definitely looks garish but at least some sort of a nod to the outfit. Like a red flak jacket with an orange neck guard. Not overstated but recognizable.

				 | Quote: For the other discussion, yes, the brown suited Wolverine in X97 had teh X belt buckle and was a dark brown, not a light brown like the comics.

				 | Quote: To make it easy, Wolverine had a regular belt buckle until Jim Lee redesigned the suits for X-Men #1. After that, he always had an X on his buckle.
