If Gail Simone would just make this spread 616 canon in Uncanny X-Men, Jubilee wearing Venom with Captain America's shield might get an official Marvel Legends.

Ronan's $21, not $14. I'll pass.

![]() Considering I asked for this exact pack many times over the years, the Crystal and Lockjaw set was an instant pre-order for me and yesterday it arrived. Crystal is great. The water and fire effects came out really well and both portraits are excellent. I'm a little torn on which head I'll go with in the long-run but I'm leaning towards the sterner expression because the windswept hair is more dynamic and evokes another of her elemental powers. Lockjaw is an appropriately big dog and he is hefty, definitely a dense piece of plastic and not a hollow shell. I think the decision to limit his leg articulation was because knee joints would buckle under his own mass. The back legs swap easily for the sitting versions which look better than articulated legs could achieve and I adore that he sits uneven like a real dog. His right hind leg is basically sitting upright but the left one sort of rolls under his belly and on its side. The fork-antenna can swap for a plain non-powered silver version but the energy effect is so nicely done that I'll never change it. Similarly the muzzle has an alternate closed mouth but the details with the open mouth are just too good for me to not leave him like this, plus he just looks so happy and he really is the goodest boy. I think the $70 price-tag is fine since Crystal feels above par to standard $25 women in the line and Lockjaw being a $45 deluxe is alright by me since he's so unique, but then again this pack was at the top of my wants list for so long that I feel like I manifested it into being and probably would've been just as happy paying more.

I don’t see how any Marvel Legends can do without this set…

![]() Got the Blackheart wave Moon Knight. There was maybe a second where I thought about not getting this figure since I already have the Walgreens exclusive classic, the Vulture wave modern crescent armor, and both MCU figures, but Moon Knight is like my #1 favorite so that thought fizzled out quick. In general it's basically just the previous classic figure but the limbs have been softly redone as pinless. The overlay pieces are obviously different what with the totally new gold armor bits (except for the shin pieces) which are pretty nicely decorated and this time around they decided to try out the X-Men '97 wave 2 Magneto's cape. I think (I haven't compared side by side so I'm not 100%) they also made a new hood piece to fill out the larger neck of this cape which does sort of give him a big-head vibe at a glance. The only new accessory is his ankh but he does still include the staff and crescents as well. Since Moon Knight's limbs were already totally white the pinless update isn't really much of an upgrade but the gold armor does mean that I can easily use this figure as part of my West Coast Avengers so there is a nice place for him in my collection other than just getting another Moon Knight.

Just an FYI: Today (10/17/24) is the last day for Dragon Man pre-orders. I placed my pre-order yesterday and look forward to them doing more figures like this in the future.
Also, I ordered Crystal and Lockjaw. I am so stoked! |

From the rumors, hoping for GSXM Banshee, or Mandarin.
Not rumored and not likely but I still hope..adding Graviton or Exodus to my collection would make me extremely happy. |

I would love that Lockjaw, but not a fan of the rest of that team, so no desire for Crystal, even though she was an Avenger and FF for a little while. May still get him, hoping for a discount or sale maybe. Also, for the new announcement, hoping it's not more Secret Wars or characters I want because my Wallet needs a break. |
