They are cool, but the quality control issues, the suckitude of the way they did the wings, fragile joints on Lexington, having to buy other characters to get cloaked version of the wings (which has not been completed yet), and the rumors of the line being canned have not helped matters either. Although, I might keep Elisa and regular Xanatos for my background bystanders collection.

A couple of them are still unopened too.

I dunno if masterverse are in scale with legends. Their size is more akin to mcfarlanes scale. I think it would be funny if hasbro lost legends to mattel.

I think it would be awesome if Marvel let Todd start producing 7" figures. Call it "Marvel Multiverse". His new statues look great. Take away that cel shading, add DC Multiverse articulation (expanded a bit). I would have bought everything they've produced to date.

DST has been making 7" Marvel figures for years.

But they're limited on articulation. I believe 16 points max, but it's definitely a better option than misogynistic, homophonic Toddy

Same. While I had a handful of the ToyBiz Marvel Legends, I didn't really start to collect the line until the early Hasbro days. So I don't know why Hasbro continued the Marvel Legends line. But unless Marvel/Disney is committed to keeping the line going and has it spelled out in the licensing contract that Marvel Legends must continue, a new license holder wouldn't be under any obligation to make compatible figures.

I hope Hasbro retains the right to Marvel Legends as they made some beautiful, quality figures in 2024. I would hate to have another company 1) start over 2) be done with a different scale 3) in a lesser quality like McFarlane 4) using different features like how Matrel's 6 inch scale of DC figures from awhile back had cartoon eyes.

People in the industry say they should be working on the 2027 line right now, not 2026 like Dan Yun said on social media. It is just possible that the contract ends after 2026 and they're planning on renegotiating due to the change in the market over the last 4 years and the fact that the MCU isn't as lucrative as it was in the beginning. It could be that they can't talk about anything past 2026 until all the legalities are sorted

Thank you for the explanation. That makes sense, and sounds fair. Hooefully renegotiating pans out as I really enjoy the line and will continue to support.

2026 sounds right though. It's an 18 month process, so they would only be halfway through 2026 right now.

I've a couple different people say 3 year lead time start to finish, that's why we get so many media figures based on extremely early concept designs

Probably a reach, but can anyone who has the deluxe movie Carnage check if the Cletus head that came with the Monster Venom wave Carnage fits on to the neck joint?

I would like to think, great minds think alike…

Sharon Carter, Wong, 97’ and Astonishing Wolverine, and Ghost-Rider easily could have made this list for top ten, they were on my long list…Lol

This year had some heavy hitters, and still coming, I think with the Secret War figures…Looking forward to see what the Captain America looks like in hand…

Note: Angel could have easily made the top ten, too! Sweet figure…

I finally found some DP and W legends today at Target. I found a lone Deadpool on a peg. Didn't expect to buy him, but he looked so colorful. When I got home I was disappointed with the proportions of the face, I think the older headsculpt was much better.

But at least I got him for $12 or so.

Can't find Wolverine, went to a different Target that was supposed to have 2, and no sign of him.

Hi, everyone! I hope that, to those who celebrated it, I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! I noticed the Top 10 lists and thought, since no one demanded it, I'd include my picks as well.

For starters, this is my Top Ten Figures Of 2024, in no particular order:
01.) "X-Men '97" Cyclops [which actually is my #1 favorite of this year - fingers crossed we get a re-release with a comic book art-based head and alternate Scott Summers head with glasses]
02.) Model 009 Armor Iron Man [could've been a bit taller, though]
03.) She-Hulk
04.) Jack O'Lantern
05.) Scarlet Spider
06.) "Secret Wars" Captain America [would've been #1 if we also got an intact shield without holes in it]
07.) "Secret Wars" Wolverine
08. and 09.) Spider-Man and Vulture [PulseCon exclusive animated VHS two-pack]
10.) Angel

This is my wish-list of Top 10 characters I hope get new "Marvel Legends" figures for 2026 or afterwards:
01.) Doctor Octopus [green-and-yellowish-orange suit on a new body mold and/or white Armani suit, with bendable wire tentacles]
02.) Hulk [new classic green savage and/or brown Pantheon-era jumpsuit, as a Deluxe release]
03.) Mary Jane Watson [first appearance]
04.) Dr. Doom [classic Silver Age]
05.) Thor [classic Silver Age on a new body mold]
06.) Daredevil [red costume]
07.) Storm [black suit with cape with yellow lightning insgnia]
08.) Colossus [classic on a new body mold, '90s Gold Team, and/or Acolyte suit]
09.) Green Goblin [classic Silver Age with alternate heads and "bat-wing" Goblin Glider]
10.) Invisible Woman [1995 Fantastic Four suit, as seen on the 1995 "Marvel Masterpieces" trading cards]

And these are honorable Mentions on my wish-list:
- Jubilee [Generation X uniform]
- Hobgoblin [classic John Romita Jr. art-based with a better Glider and alternate heads, including one of his face in the shadows with red eyes]
- Leader [orange-and-black suit with "Jiffy Pop" brain]
- Wonder Man [early 90s black-and-red Avengers West Coast uniform]
- Lizard [classic re-release, maybe for a second "Secret Wars" wave - the Walmart exclusive was way too hard to find]
- Absorbing Man [classic]
- Volcana ["Secret Wars"]
- Falcon [classic red-and-white suit with Redwing figurine]
- Ringmaster [classic]
- Stunner [classic red-and-black costume]

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and, in case I'm not online in the next few days to say so, I hope you all have a Happy New Year as well.
