Only thing in yesterday's stream I have an interest in is Mystique. Hulk doesn't even have pinless legs. WTF? And good luck with that rubber body. Bandai learned their lesson with Ultraman Tiga.
Anyway, did a ton of photos over the last week: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Could they do some color work on Crossbones so he'd look like the old figure from the Ares wave?

I’m very interested in this set myself, but Crossbones’s uniform colors are a bit off to me, does anyone know if that uniform for Crossbones is from the comics?
I feel this is the best thing they showed during the fanstream…

I agree, the color on Crossbones's uniform should be the same colors as the old figure from the Ares wave.

I might be wrong and you might be right, whatever…I guess we will “really” see when “all” the figures are finished and done and reviewed.
Note: I really interested in the new Hulk! It would be a real disappointment if he came with pin-joints for legs.

Good things about maximum Hulk:
1.Ability to do a thunder clap 2.Articulated toes and feet 3.New accessories Bad things about maximum Hulk: 1.Terrible head sculpts 2.Same arms and legs as before 3.Rubber chest that could rot over time 4.Bad shade of green skin and purple pants What can be fixed: 1.Double jointed elbows on the arms 2.Pinless legs 3.Different head sculpts 4.Real butterfly joints on the chest (no rubber) 5.different shade of green skin and purple pants (SDCC Vintage Hulk) |

I don't necessarily mind the head sculpts and actually kinda dig the Smart Hulk one, but if they're gonna do it I'd prefer they went all out and did a proper Smart Hulk figure rather than just relegating him to a head. As it is the only place I'd really have for a Smart Hulk head on a classic Savage Hulk body is my Marvel vs. Capcom display.

If hasbro were to do a Maximum Hulk 2.0, what changes would you want them to make?

I actually don't mind the shades of green for the skin and purple for the pants for this new Hulk figure. But the rubbery chest, the re-used arms and legs, lack of a removable torn shirt accessory, and previously mentioned terrible head sculpts are what killed my excitement for this figure. I was hoping for at least one head sculpt to look like the old 1984 Hulk poster by Bob Larkin. I wanted a neutral head sculpt, a growling head sculpt with his teeth showing, and an angry roaring head sculpt without his hair flowing backwards like the upcoming figure has. The Maximum Hulk figure immediately went from one of my most anticipated figures for this year to one of the biggest disappointments I've seen in years. I hope we get a proper sold-separately, afforable, classic savage Hulk figure for the Marvel Legends line sooner than later. Thanks for reading and have a wonderful weekend, everyone. |

Toys whether they're made from plastic or rubber they always rot or get worn out later on. Nothing new about that. so deal with it.
at the meantime, let the Hasbro team do their job and try something new such as the new plastic torso for Maximum Hulk because of the Sonic boom feature. let them be creative. Don't start bitching and moaning about it for cripes sake. I still have my old G.I. Joe figures that I've had since I was a kid in the 1980s and they're still great shape even though some of the paint faded a little bit on the old Cobra Twins. rest of you people just don't realize that any toy later on will get worn out from you playing with them. Simple fact Quote:

Are y ou not familiar with the Figuarts for Ultraman Tiga, Kamen Rider Black, and Shadow Moon? How about Mattel's Swamp Thing? I've learned that vac metal and rubber are the worst things to use on toys.

In the live stream, Dwight said that the new chest on Hulk is vinyl. A lot of the capes, jackets, and trench coats that we casually refer to as "plastic" are actually vinyl (aka PVC). I've sold off a lot of figures over the last year, but one my oldest with PVC is my DCUC Classic Detective Batman. I just put it back on display a couple of months ago and the cape is still fine on it. I don't remember what year I bought it in, but it's easily over 15 years old, probably getting closer to 20 years old.
Also, Hasbro using a PVC skin to hide the chest articulation is similar to the "diapers" that Neca and McFarlane have been using for years now. |

Simple fact The new Hulk with rubber-like piece in the middle, hopefully it won’t color will not fade, maybe the method that they are using to paint the chest piece will prevent this! Note: It would be hard for me to pass on this new Hulk… But, seems like Hasbro was less willing to “go for it” on Hulk, like they did for Maximum Spiderman…Which is a disrespect to Hulk, IIMHO….

Most of my loose figures that I don’t display are wrapped in the tissue paper that you use for gift baskets, and stored in a box or a container. This method has worked well for me to keep them looking good!
