I agree. If it was still sealed, the seller had absolutely nothing to do with the faulty figure. With eBay siding with the buyer most of the time, it sucks just as much for him as it does for you. If something is sold new in unopened packaging, hidden manufacturer defects such as frozen limbs or subpar paint apps on the back of a figure should not be considered the seller's fault. For better or worse, I believe eBay still considers it the seller's responsibility to make things right, however.

I once sold an MIB Marvel Universe Uncanny X-Men three-pack to a guy on eBay. He said that when his son opened it and tried to pose the Longshot figure, his hand snapped off from the peg. I wasn't mad at the kid, but disappointed with Hasbro, knowing that that would've happened to me a few times had I not had a blowdryer in hand. I consider myself a decent person and have 100% positive feedback on eBay, and just so happened to have an extra loose Longshot, so the problem was easily fixed. His son got a new figure, he sent me back the broken one so I could use it for custom fodder, and I was only out an additional Longshot and a few bucks for shipping.

Dang that sucks, I'm actually glad I cancelled that pack, wasn't feeling it, even though it was old school Gamora...

For me it sort of was, my walgreens kept getting those scalped...

That's awesome of you....that's why I'm always leery of opening up the Marvel stuff myself cause of that.

Third party sellers on Amazon have this up at $204 minimum and that one calls for $44 shipping. As much as I want it I need to bite down hard and wait it out until at least the 28th. But if I don't get it then I'll jump on one of these....

Wow, lucky for you guys. All my local WG never had Agent Venom in hand. I talked to several of the managers and they told me that scalpers would come early morning and wait around on delivery day just to pick up this and Proto Fett at the time. I wouldn't doubt it if they do the same for Ant-Man and FA DD. I'm not going to even try and hunt them.

My local WM, on the other hand, has tons of Wasps from the recent wave sitting around. Even found the elusive Captain America from Thanos Wave, but decided not to get him.

i have constantly seen that agent venom.... maybe because it's not as hot as it was when it first came out, but just about every walgreens i have frequented i've seen them. i have actually been meaning to go to a few walgreens and hunt down another Superior spider-man. i know that wave of spidey figures are gone from toys r us and other stores but for some reason walgreens is always behind with these types of toys.

That Rogue's price is starting to skyrocket. I'll be scared to see the final price.

That fully painted White Phoenix body is mocking me. It knows I will never have it...

Do not hold out too long if you want it. I need a couple Red Skulls for some custom pieces. Passed on them all the time and now they are over 30 bucks each. Always happens when you wait too long. As for being behind, Walgreens also did not get that wave until months after other stores since they started stocking it with their exclusive. Kind of sucks for them since most collectors already had the rest of the wave by that time.

I need it! I just wouldn't know what head to throw on it.

EDIT: nvm, Hope Summers, I knew that figure would come in handy

Maybe if the heads were included those female bodies would be worth something, but as is, screw the old Hasbro anorexic mold. =) If the buyer is going to have to put in work to make the figure whole anyways, might as well start with one of the newer female bodies as a base and make a proper looking Emma, Rogue, or Phoenix.

Decent! I'll have to go by the Walgreens up the road this weekend. I'm also wondering even if the body type is all wrong (not muscular enough) if might not be an easy Count Nefaria/Graviton custom with a Kraven or Dr. Strange head. They never had those exact colors but they did have several color schemes...it may work....

Lol, of course my friend. It's actually one per costumer (I took my son and we visited 2 stores). I don't know if it's like that in all Walgreens stores though. They just got the shipment today, full box still out there for everybody!!!

So jealous! Hoping I get that set soon. Yeah, Cannonball, Magik, Moonstar are the core new mutants for me. Sunspot to a lesser degree. Just me but I don't get the appeal of any of the other classic NM beyond those four. Especially Wolfsbane.

The Chinese export market seems to have added another wrinkle to their repertoire: custom movie figs cobbled together using fodder pieces.

New Marvel Avengers 2 Age of Ultron Quicksilver 6 5'' Figure Toys AA2SDX | eBay

New Marvel Avengers 2 Age of Ultron Hawkeye 6 5'' Figure Toys Collection AA2YYX | eBay

New Marvel Avengers 2 Age of Ultron The Hulk 6 5'' Figure Toys Collection AA2LJR | eBay

It's no wonder why manufactures worldwide are complaining about Chinese patent violations. I love the backwards limbs and pieces, peg holes in the chest, and wild scale descriptions(6.5" and 7").

I'm not sure what's more disturbing, the fact that people are bidding on these things, or the idea that if they (bootleggers) got the assembly right, there would likely be a market for these pirated figs...
