See, the reason Spider-Men in the ML line pegwarm isn't because they're undesirable (usually), it's because most people will jump on Kraven or Ghost Rider or Chameleon, KNOWING that Spidey will still be there, possibly even clearanced out! It's a self fulfilling prophecy! Also, thanks for that Spyne

considering i already have that wave, everytime i've been taking a ride looking for some figures here and there. i almost never see ramos spidey or spidey 2099... but damn near ALWAYS anti venom and ultimate spider-woman are always available.

while people will want Kraven and ghost rider, who the hell will want misty knight or white tiger?? people know of WT because of her cartoon appearances, MK unless you were reading anything with her from the 70s you'd be clueless....

Just speaking for myself, MK (along with Kraven of course) was the main thing I was excited about on this wave. Mainly because it's about time we had some diversification among our women. White Tiger helps there too even if you can't tell it by the figure.

Who would want them? Well, there's: people who wanna complete Rhino, people who are completionists, people who want more female and minority representation on their shelves (let's face it, ML has always been more heavy on dudes), or anyone who thinks they'll reach ML toad or MU Vision levels of rarity/value... I'm not saying there's any figure that will sell better than another (though I could easily do that) I'm just saying it's not fair to someone who sees a near complete Rhino wave on the shelves... minus one chameleon and plus three scarlet spiders. He already has a guaranteed chameleon if he's ordering a case, why make it harder on a fellow collector? We're all in this together!

White tiger is Hispanic, right?

White Tiger is Hispanic, yes. I'm excited for diverse characters. The Misty figure looks dead on! Now we need a Colleen Wing to go with her! (I may have been the only one who read Heroes for Hire). I like that Hasbro is giving us characters that come from a diverse background and I hope that trend continues.

I also really like that we're getting MK because the hairstyle opens the way for a classic Captain Marvel (Monica R.). Though like I've said before I would be pleased if we got her current Spectrum outfit as well. To me she's pretty much the only remaining classic Avenger never done in ML format that I'd want - now that we're getting Mockingbird that is. Justice and Firestar I do want but they're not classic more of that inbetween stage between Classic and New Avengers. Quasar, Crystal, Swordsmans, Magdalene, Stingray, I would probably get too though. The rest though can just never get made for all I care (yeah Starfox, I AM looking at you when I say that.)

Urgh I hate when I do these lists that I always forget a figure. Sorry, Sersi is right up there in my wishlist for "must haves".

I'll be getting all the figures from this wave, but only to complete Rhino because he looks BASS.

I have zero interest in the two female characters otherwise.

I already have my set, but after all the good case assortments since the 2x Black Widow case from CA: TWS, I thought they were over crap like that.

Edited to add: "Heroes" is Strange and Vision and "Defenders" is the two women (or it might be reversed from that)... each of those has their own UPC but the same packaging, that's why they're listed with the same name)
Ouch that sucks, although I'm glad I bought the full case from HTS already at a discount as well.

I think it's great we are getting diverse figures, but also obscure ones. Like Speed Demon or Blizard, what I really want is a Rom the Space Knight figure

i don't mind female figures at all. im excited for spider-gwen. but we are talking about about Misty knight here.... sad but true alot of people have no idea who she is. do you think mommy with her young son, are going to be picking her up?? i doubt it because the regular toy buyers NOT collectors will be clueless.

i understand the collectors want the whole wave, fine buy the whole wave, and if some want the BAF, simply purchase it from dorkside already made.

i said it prior to this wave being released, " who the hell is misty knight? " this coming from someone who's been into comics since late 80s and that doesnt mean i don't have any silver age marvel issues because i do. i was like oook..... who is this? im sure alot of others feel that way too.

as far as Kain returning scarlet spider, that's not as bad as stealing a BAF part and returning the figure. IMO

No, no, definitely not, but it's still making it harder on another collector who might have to buy figures in-store as his only option, or for some other reason. It's unsportsmanlike!

agreed ! i myself find stores damn near impossible to find what your looking for. Don't get me wrong i just got lucky monday and picked up a few black ant figures, i also went to a few other wal-greens as of yesterday and no sign of them what so ever.

TRU in my area is damn near always a disappointment. i can't honestly remember when i actually bought a legend figure from them. Wal-mart and target are a 50/50 shot. I did get lucky and find the whole Ant-man wave at a wal-mart but had no intention on purchasing any of them other then Tiger shark.

i guess that's why myself i ended up ordering the hobgoblin wave from BBTS and the hulkbuster wave from dorkside. it's always a big disappointment when you go and waste gas on these treks and just go back home empty handed.

I'm still in search of a good paint Spider-woman she's damn near impossible to find in stores around my way.

Then don't buy them? It's not Hasbro's fault that you didn't buy them when they came out, and now refuse to pick them up on Ebay. Yes $50 is pretty expensive for a figure, but if you want them, that's how much you're going to have to fork out. You either buy them on Ebay, trade someone for them, or don't buy them. Hasbro will never re-release three figures of "D" rate characters that were only on the shelves less than two years ago.

Dr Kain,

If you're thinking the prices on ebay $50 are too expensive, just be patient, maybe they will come down in price. Do a little digging on other sites too.

As of right this moment:

Amazon.com: Marvel Legends, Marvel's Wrecking Crew, Piledriver (Build Arnim Zola), 6 Inches: Toys & Games -- Amazon has Piledriver at $30 (Wreck and Thunderball are quite a bit more.)

They probably won't re-release them and it's certainly not their responsibility to just because some people didn't pick them up or weren't collecting at that time, but with patience you can find them cheaper eventually. That or, if you want it bad enough, those will be the prices you pay.

Good luck with the hunt, man!

I know that's only a hypothetical situation, but it happens more often than you'd think, and when they (toy buyers) see Marvel Legends figures not selling, they won't say "oh, it's only Scarlet Spider or Hawkeye or Iron Man that isn't selling", they'll blame it on the perceived lack of consumer interest. If you think I'm joking, come to my neck of the woods, I'll take you on a tour of Targets, Meijer's and Wal-Marts that can't give away those figures!
Yes, but how is that any different than receiving a gift that is a duplicate and you take it back to the store and exchange it for something else?

Plus, in Target's eyes, it doesn't matter who or what the character is, what matters is that they have stock sitting on the pegs because it is all under the same item code. They wouldn't know if it was Spider-Man, Superman, to their asses, it is all the same UPC if it is in the same package.

Same. Every time I go into TRU there's several GOTG Iron Man (Mans? Men?) sitting there laughing at me that they're taking up shelf space for newer figures. Id be glad to ship them to you at retail cost plus shipping just to get them out of the way here.

Hence why I said it would be nice if they reissued them, because I don't want them for anything above retail.

I didn't get into Marvel Legends until this year, so I didn't buy them back when they came out because I didn't know about them. I was kind of busy with other stuff. This is the first year I have even touched a Marvel comic since Brand New Day came out. Let alone do anything with Marvel outside of the movies.

I kind of want a Drax figure now but I refuse to get wimpy Drax. I wish they'd redo him on one of the larger bodies they've got going on now.

Also speaking of the male bucks, Grim Reaper is a newer more muscular yet still thinner buck. Does anyone know if any of the upcoming figures are going to be on the same buck? He would be great for some customizing but for that scythe.

Well that's alright, but you can't expect to find past figures for retail price. It's a highly impractical mindset to be in if you want them, and it'll hinder you greatly if you do want figures which came out more than 6 months ago. You can always play the waiting game and, as CaptainNash says, try and search Ebay for cheaper prices, but the Wrecking Crew are popular, and I doubt you'll be able to find them for less than $30 each.

Trust me man, I feel your pain. I came back into the game in 2012, and had to track down figures from '08-'11 that I wanted. My wallet is still feeling the pain of picking up the 2009 Ares BAF.
