So the changes between Disney and Marvel Studios announced yesterday - with feige now reporting directly to Disney instead of going through Ike Permutter. I wonder if this will have positive ramifications on X-related product, negative ramifications of X-related product, or no change at all. I honestly am not sure. Thoughts?

I really doubt this , i think Hasbro can make whatever figure they like they just seem to be ignoring x-men for some reason. Last mutants we had was scarlet witch and magik

Well as I said, I wasn't sure if it would be positive, negative or no change. So nothing really to doubt as I'm not even sure myself. Of course I hope we'll see more but most likely no change I guess - c'mon you know I just want a Polaris.

That's actually on my to-do list for the fall. But I'm not going to stop clamoring for it until it happens - continuance of X-Ban or not.

Ah ok. I'm oblivious when it comes to that. Like I can point out Halloween stuff (and I'm even seeing Thanksgiving stuff, wtf?). As far as fashion goes, I could be hit in the face with a sign that says "Fall style" and still not realize. Could you imagine, a seasonal line of Marvel Legends? Water based heroes in the summer, Alpha Flight in the Winter, haha.

For those asking about Marvel Unlimited, I can shed some light on it. The plus membership is required for the figure. As was already mentioned, it is $99 for the year. MU does not have new comics and generally follows about a 6 month lead time. For example, the Spider-Verse stuff just started showing up over the last couple weeks.

It auto-renews every year and will send whatever the current figure is in the offer. Missed out on the repainted Rocket by about a week...grrr. Do not expect much in the way of accessories. The Ultron had nothing but a stand and came in a plastic bag. Otherwise it comes with a few other random items like a small comic box and an issue relating to whatever the figure theme is for that time.

Regarding the action figure covers, those look awesome. I believe John Tyler Christopher is the artist doing all of them. He does some great work. Met him a couple years ago at GenCon. Really nice guy.

One correction, I don't believe you get the new figure every year, that is just for the initial year you sign up. Otherwise I'd have Rescue already. Or maybe she's on the way - my subscription renewed in July.

I believe this is correct, you only get the figure if you are a new subscriber. And I think the Rescue deal only started at the beginning of this week. It also says it can take up to 8 weeks to get the promo stuff.

Haven't seen that head anywhere since the initial tease at SDCC '13. No where in sight right now.

I assume product pipeline will remain the same.

Feige has completely left from what the article said. I don't see anything changing in the movies, at least not until Phase 4.

The only thing I hope that does change is that this means the next person to run the show actually starts developing the villains again.

I've wondered that myself, it looks like a Marvel Select figure, and at first I thought it was a repainted WS Cap, but the sculpted details are different...

According to the Marvel Unlimited Plus FAQ, you get the kit (which would include the figure) every year. They tend to take about 6-8 weeks to ship though so if you renewed in July you probably will not have it until early September.

Will I receive a new collectible kit every year that I am a MU Plus member? | Marvel.com

Q: Will I receive a new collectible kit every year that I am a MU Plus member?

A: Absolutely! As your Marvel Unlimited Plus membership renews each year you will receive the then current year’s collectible kit.

Ah, cool. I honestly remember it differently when I first signed up last year. I wasn't sure if I was going to go MU (mostly) completely or just try it for a year and go back to print, as it turns out I'm good with MU and printed Uncanny X-Men for completionist OCD's sake.

I look forward to getting Rescue then, and if that is correct I should get within the next month.
