I am just happy that the new Daredevil has the big D on the entire torso. Unlike the old Legends one that was a repaint of the standard mold, so it had the small DD on the upper chest like the modern red costume.

Unreleased Marvel Legends Phoenix Force Cyclops Figure Puck BAF Series Prototype | eBay Unreleased Marvel Legends Rogue Figure Puck BAF Series Package Prototype | eBay I find it very odd that there are SO MANY of these "rare/unreleased/fully packaged/prototypes" floating around. It took me two and a half years to find my unreleased Bi-beast "loose"...and it represented one of only three such listings I've ever seen on eBay (a fact that is noteworthy because even though I own a Bi-Beast prototype, I still look routinely for listings). I've personally viewed four of the unreleased Rogues and three unreleased Phoenix Force Cyclops figs in the past 6-10 months. Stranger and stranger every time.... |

I can't believe the prices people pay. That's more than I would drop, but that's me I guess.

Anybody know a good place to get ML accessories? My Gambit is missing a staff and the throwing card accessory, and I want to replace Hobgoblin wave Daredevil's batons with something more impressive looking.

You can also one of any number of sites that do casting of 1/12 scale parts, such as Casting Cave, although you might have to paint some of them yourself if you're looking for things in colors other than grey, white or black. I've found that when it comes to missing pieces or accessories, don't be afraid to think outside of the box, and use accessories from other figures, or make your own. I've used weapons and gear from various figure lines like Spawn, TMNT, Star Wars etc that I no longer have with my Marvel Legends, some with pretty satisfying results. Good luck! |

I don't what embargo you're talking about Black Arbor. If you ask any Hasbro rep, they are just making the figures that collectors want. The embargo is a lie!

Right there with you, but that old female body is dead as a door nail according to Hasbro, with no future (or retroactive make good) releases on it planned. Which is a good thing... that body is terrible compared to the current available sculpts.

Marvel Legends Unreleased Protoype Psylocke Antman Series w Ironman Torso | eBay There are two bids on this less than perfect re-paint... Edit: at least the two bids are from the same poor soul. Obviously, whomever this eager customer is, they shouldn't be shopping on the internet without supervision/guidance... |

For weapons and stuff you kinda have to get them from where ever you can. I try to hit a lot of old Buffy figures since a lot of them came with a bunch of accessories, but some can get quite pricey. But some casters out there do decent prices. You just have to hunt around. Guns a lot of the time you can pull from a lot of generic military toys. |

I have never seen a Cap in my area with my own eyes. My friend found one for me, and he didn't have the "A" painted on his head.

For simple stuff like Staffs and such I just use wooden dowels and paint them. I always hate that toy companies use rubbery plastic for them. Very few use sturdy materials.

If you're looking for older accessories, garage shows and ebay are probably going to be your best bet, although expect to pay through the nose on ebay, as people seem to think a single pistol is worth 10 dollars or more.

I'll try these suggestions out, maybe I can create a staff for Gambit at some point. I've personally had more difficulty finding a Cap over anyone else from the wave (which I still haven't completed). I've seen plenty of Batroc, Spider-Woman and Hellcat. Iron-Man is, as always, extremely abundant and easy to find. When the wave first came out, I saw a lot of Hulks, then they slowly started disappearing. My Wal-Mart recently restocked with that wave with what feels like dozens of cases of them but even still, there's only a lone Captain America there and about 10 of everybody else. During my toy hunts over the past few months I think I've only ever seen 3 Caps. |

I want this to happen so very badly. I know it's screwed up considering that collectors are free to spend their own money however they please, and sellers are entitled to make whatever the market will bear on any item they sell...but the collective spitting out of coffee on keyboards and smashing of mobile devices in disgust at the news of Hasbro's decision to bring these figs to market would be both a hilarious and glorious event! A delicious moment of schadenfreude that would be followed by an even greater collective joy of finally being able to get these figs into our collections!

So I was looking at the recent ML Storm figure and wow.....scalpers must've hit her hard, huh? It's a shame because I really wanted a Storm and Jubilee to be in my X-Men collection.

Storm and Magneto were extremely difficult to get and quantities of that wave were pretty limited

I'm glad things have gotten better on that front. Nowadays, I don't have too much difficulty getting ahold of characters that I really want. |

Huh...so it was just a case of unfortunate case assortment + distribution then? Seems odd that Storm and Magneto would be made so difficult to find, considering they're both popular characters and they don't get the Marvel Legends treatment that often.
