The interviewer spoke of Rogue, Polaris and Enchantress as being the top 3 requests for about 5 years, and the Hasbro employee replied with "Well green is my favourite colour..." Again, take that how you will, but the way he said it it seemed like a "wait and see" type of confirmation.
My guess is that Polaris will be in the 2016 X-Men wave, and Enchantress will be planned for a 2017 Thor: Ragnarok wave! Also wanted to add I'm glad someone actually had the balls to call them out on these highly requested figures, and why they haven't been made yet. |

There's only so many figures they can make in a year, and retailers are going to demand some mainstays in the mix ("core characters" as it were). In any case, I think we'd see an Apocalypse BAF before Juggernaut. Yes, there are options out there for both, but we haven't seen a ML Apocalypse in nearly 10 years. Saying that a figure is "already done" is kind of moot when it's not been available on the primary market for a decade (Juggy has been available more recently by a few years, not counting the excellent Marvel Select version). Though I suppose they could do a good Marvel Select version instead (in fact I bet that's likely, though maybe more "in addition to" than "instead"). Though with our luck, we'll end up with Colossonaut. |

Mostly because Marvel Legends was down to an exclusive-only line for several years and so there was minimal tooling and such going into the line at that time. Folks sometimes seem to forget that it really only started to come back full-bore just a few years ago, and didn't really start flourishing until the new packaging hit.

Also throwing out my predictions if this is an 8 figure wave:
New never released before characters: Moonstar Polaris Madrox Exodus Redos of new versions: Jim Lee Cyclops Jim Lee Rogue Jim Lee Gambit A better Mister Sinister And the build a figure I'm still going with Sauron but I could see any others as well I guess. I think other possible figures could be Jim Lee Wolverine, Jim Lee Beast, AOA Jean or Deadpool. I would say Jim Lee Psylocke but if they're not making obvious connections with figures to the new movie, that design (along with possibly Cyclops) would be out. If they are even thinking of having Strong Guy as the BAF then it better be the 90's X-factor version. Along with a Havok and Polaris in team jackets, and a Multiple Man and Wolfsbane.
They have to realize that all the best costumes for the X-books was in the 90's. |

![]() I finally found Ghost Rider a bike, it's the Maisto Sons of Anarchy 1:12 Super Glide. I didn't watch the show but the bike looked like a fair match for Blaze. It works out pretty well but would look better if it were just a bit bigger. I just remind myself that some artists have Ghost Rider like 7 feet tall and it's fine.

I was just thinking about something. There's a lot of collectors (like me) who prefer to collect characters from the comic books as opposed to the movies, yet we often find ourselves collecting movie-related figures to complete comic-related BAFs. On the flipside, there's a lot of collectors who love the movie figures and designs and collect those primarily. On top of that, there's probably a lot of pressure from retailers to have at least one of the heavy hitters in every wave to guarantee their sales, which is why there's almost guaranteed to be an Iron-Man, Captain America or Spider-Man in every wave, and from that, I'd imagine there's probably a lot of pressure for Hasbro to capitalize on the newest movies.
However, I do find it a bit weird that a collector has to collect a wave of mostly movie figures (if you take into account that one of the comic book figures is an optional purchase) to complete a comic book Thanos, and that you have to collect a wave of mostly comic book figures to complete both Movie Ultron and Movie Hulkbuster. Has anybody else felt like this? I see why Hasbro does it this way, but I'm wondering if there could possibly be a better way of doing this. |

Although I do like the idea of offering the BAFs online. Only problem with that I assume is that the BAF is Hasbro's way of assuring retailers that there's an incentive for buying even the more obscure characters. Eh, I keep my figures even if I'm just collecting them for a BAF lol. Never know if in the future I'm going to want to add them to some team on my shelf. There's also been certain characters that I've bought as part of a wave or boxset that I actually grew really fond of. Blizzard was that purchase for me, but now I actually kinda dig the figure for all of its simplicity. Brother Voodoo was another. Last edited by SymbiSpidey; 10-08-2015 at 07:08 PM.. |

TOTAL side note: that original Blue Marvel miniseries i presented to a school teacher(that i know) and told her about the concept/story... she loved it and presented it to her class (5th graders) as a mini project!
AND...that Target (i think) 3 pack..i really want that Ultron....dont' really care about the rest tho.. Side note to your side note: Speaking of badasses, do you know Ta-Nehisi Coates? If you don't, he's a prolific writer/journalist/thinker who works for The Atlantic. THIS DUDE IS LEGIT within the community and he will be writing Black Panther. I'm still pinching myself, B...I've read his articles online and listened to this dude on talk radio for quite some time and I'm beyond amazed that Marvel pulled this off (apparently he's a life long comic fan). Well, long story short, I have a book that will be drawing me back into comic shops. I wish Coates could also write for Blue Marvel given his profound understanding of the African American experience. But hey, maybe BM will get a stand alone...and BP ain't exactly a shabby start! lol |

Jim Lee Cyclops, Rogue, Gambit seems like a sure thing since they were previewed in some form before, be it different paint jobs. But I think we may get it as Hasbro has the sculpts.
So I hope and predict 7-8 X-Men figs will be; JL Cyclops JL Rogue Gambit JL Wolverine Psylocke Warpath JL Sabertooth Multi Man BAF Juggernaut I just think they made the molds already and most of the wave are repaints. I think that makes the most sense to me. Would love a Fabian Cortez, MArvel Now Magneto, Mr. Sinister, Toad, Colossus, JL Havok, Strong Guy, Forge and Polaris. Xavier will not happen as they will not give him a chair... |

I really just would like an Age of Apocalypse line.
I want Dark Beast, Mr. Sinister, Jean in the classic AoA outfit (not the crap cancelled figure outfit), Cyclops, Havoc, Magneto, X-Man(Nate Summers)and most of all BLINK!! plus BAF AoA Apocalypse. OH, and a store (Walgreens) exclusive MORPH :-) |

I get what you're saying. they certainly can only make so many characters every year. But when the same characters top various online fan polls annually, for several years, it's pretty clear there's a desire to see these made over someone who ends up way down the list in general. I know they are constrained by molds as well but I would think at some point they have to take into consideration what their fans want to, to some degree. Maybe they are finally listening.

Basically...no, there isn't a "better" way because Hasbro and retailers want comic fans to buy movie figures and movie fans to buy comic figures. I'm quite sure their BAF choices are at least somewhat calculated in that regard. IE Don't expect the movie/comic mix-up to go away anytime soon. |

BM, I'm awe-struck by the realism in your Hydra mooks' poses.. They have a real weight to them crumpled in heaps at the feet of the Big Damn Heroes, fantastic work as always mate!
