One of you lucky bastards is getting this...only if you don't have it though, be fair. Just post here how bad do you want it (for example if you just can't find it anywhere to save your life) and the ones that already have one will help me vote for a winner. You have to be a toyark member of course that we all know here, sorry, no newvies...
Oh...IT'S FREE!!! ![]()

Raf, I already own it. But am I allowed to ask for a friend of mine that isn't on the boards?
My best friend was a hardcore Legends collector. His family had a house on Long Beach Island, where they lived year round. It was destroyed when Hurricane Sandy hit and he lost all of his figures to the storm. Rebuilding his collection was just too costly, so he never tired to back track. He's been trying to get back into collecting since then, but is missing many characters that he once had. On top of that, after the hurricane, his parents divorced and he was living with me for a year (which is another long story). He's living with his Dad now, but he has to pay rent and help with the bills. So trying to collect new figures is proving to be tough. He would never come out and say something like this, and he might even be mad that I shared his story, but I wanted to get it out there. Quite honestly, I was going to try to find another set and give it to him for Christmas. Last edited by Spyne98; 11-09-2015 at 07:14 AM.. |

Oh man 3233Rafael, this is very generous of you!
I collect mainly marvel legends, though I haven't been able to buy full complete waves like I used to, so I cherry pick a single figure (I'm still behind on full complete waves such as Thanos, Orange Hobgoblin, Ultron, Rhino and the Hulkbuster wave) due to financial priorities ( thanks hasbro for the back to back releases lol) Just the other day I was at Target with my family and I saw the three pack in stock for the first time. I thought I'd treat myself but I decided on putting the figures back at check out after realizing I could use the money for something else. I ended up buying Disney's In and Out DVD for my gf and toddler as well as a Hotwheel playset for him. Though I was disappointed for having to put the 3 pack back, seeing them happy helped me get over it! I'd be happy as hell if I were to win, it'd really make my year! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to win this set for free, it's really, really kind of you! |

Wow, with that story your friend would probably end up winning the contest in my opinion. Unfortunately, I have to stick by the rules I made for this contest. If I would allow this then some scalpers would probably become Toyark members just to get a shot at this and that's what I don't want. Thank you for your honesty though and for sharing that story with us.

Anybody know of a good modification to give Superior Spidey his much-needed backpack legs? I've seen a few 3D printed sets online, but I don't know if they're still being sold :P

Yeah, I figured you had ignored me because you never replied but it's all good, just a misunderstanding. I will send this one to Trivial and I will go out hunting for more. The next one I find is yours if you still need it once I find it.

Speaking of the Walgreens DareDevil. Has this thing been in good stock most places? Not a single Walgreens around here has had a single one in stock. No problems with Hulkbuster wave but this DD has been harder to find than anything.

I picked up the set several weeks ago (and price matched to $28.50), I just couldn't resist making the joke about getting an entire Target store as a giveaway. Let someone who wants and doesn't have it get to enjoy the awesomeness of this set. |

Really awesome of you to do that Raf. Target is so flaky about their stocking. Nothing around here yet.
That being said, I am not going to throw my hat in for them. The set was not a major want for me and I would much rather someone who really wants them get them. I would be happy to help you vote for it though. Good luck to everyone and thanks again for being so great to the community Raf. Check out Happy Day Customs on YouTube. I know Chris has made a couple of them and he's pretty awesome about sharing his techniques for stuff during his videos. I watched one of them at one point but I forget how much detail he put in.
