Glad he got to his new home ok. It's always good to know the stuff I sell goes to a good home. Having just sold off my Marvel Universe 3.75 inch collection it is time to REALLY (not just tell myself and then not do it) narrow down my collecting. I think I am going to focus on Legends, Transformers, (but only new characters/or sculpts that are better than some of the old versions), The Batman Animated line, SW Black 6 inch, and a few other select groups of figures. Next up on the chopping/selling block I think will be my Minimates collection.

If you want another Shield 3 pack...or two, now is definitely a good time. They are indeed marked down to 29.99 regular price and at least at my TRU are buy one get one 40% off. Just snagged two for the cost of the one I purchased at release. Now to figure out projects for them...
*EDIT* The grammar freak in me could not abide the errors in this post. That is what I get for typing it on my phone. Last edited by Kirathis; 11-13-2015 at 05:02 PM.. Reason: Grammar errors |

Does anyone know if the heads from WWE basic figures will fit on Marvel Legends bodies...in particular the Diva figures on the various women bucks? I ran into the new basic AJ Lee figure today, and that head sculpt is amazing, and would look great as an unmasked alternate for White Tiger or Spider-Girl (Ultimate Green Goblin wave). I also think the figure body itself might make for a good Mary Jane custom, as it's just fashionable enough to believe that it would be something she would actually wear.
The head sculpt for that figure also would make for a fantastic X-23 as well with a little paint on the hair... |

People always have different opinions on which classic Hulk figure is the best, but there really isn't a debate to be had... Face Off Hulk destroys all the others, and doesn't even need torso articulation to do it. I freaking LOVE that figure...

I agree with Ultra. They run a little big.
I did a Proto Daredevil custom a while back and I used a WWE head(I don't remember who the character is), but the head cavity was a little too big. ![]() |

Unfortunately, I can't say I'm too happy with The Leader figure because the figure was broken at the shoulder joint right when I took it out of the package. Might have to see about getting a Modern Leader on eBay and doing a quick head swap, because getting a classic Leader is a bit expensive these days. |

Yeah, after messing around with Face Off Hulk for a bit, this figure is perfect. I was missing a good comic Hulk for my collection, so it fulfills that need and more. The problem with many classic Hulk figures for me is that they usually don't have a good face sculpt IMO, and Face Off Hulk's face is absolutely perfect. Then there's others like the 3-pack Hulk, that look fantastic, but they're simply not the ripped pants look that has become so iconic for the character to me. Even with the Marvel Select Hulk (which I would get to have a more massive-sized Hulk in my collection that can go along with the corresponding Red Hulk), I think the face is downright ugly lol.

For some reason, in my experiences, it seemed that the figures that came out of those face off waves were a little more brittle than the rest. My Jigsaw figure snapped in half at the waist during a move last year (thank goodness it wasn't too difficult of a head swap to do, as that figure's prices are ridiculous.) Remembering that, I picked up the Baron Strucker 2 pack a while ago, and my stomach turned as I tried to loosen up those joints with the care of paleontologist working on dinosaur bones. Thankfully nothing broke, but even then I'm still fearful of handling them too much and they are pretty much static on my shelves. |

Don't worry bro...no need to justify to us. Simply put, the Face Off series of figures put out some of the best sculpted Marvel Legends figures to date, (Captain America and First appearance Wolverine come to mind) and that Hulk and Leader were no different.

And yeah, I don't have too many ToyBiz figures since I started collecting once Hasbro got ahold of the line, but I've never had an issue with figures breaking until this Face Off Leader, and I've heard numerous people say that the face off line had some pretty bad QC in general. Luckily, the Leader is far less expensive to replace than that Hulk figure, so I'm not too bummed about it. BTW, I've always wanted that FO Jigsaw in the white outfit, but yeah the prices are absurd for it. |

I agree on the face off sculpts. I would love to pick up a Face Off Masked Captain America for a decent price. I feel so stupid for passing on one back in September that was going for $35. I'm excited for Hasbro's version of that costume, but I don't think it will hold a candle to Face Off Cap as far as sculpt and detail goes. Still, it might work as a nice placeholder until I can get my hands on it.

BTW, I've always wanted that FO Jigsaw in the white outfit, but yeah the prices are absurd for it. The Jigsaw that I had was indeed the one in the white outfit, and he snapped clean in half at the waist. Why he goes for such ridiculous prices is beyond me... Thankfully, though, I had a couple of Movie Masters Joker Goons from The Dark Knight line hanging around in my bin, and after they went through a set of "try outs", I sacrificed one to give Jigsaw new life. I actually like it better than the original figure now, as that FO Jigsaw had some weird hip joints, and used to flake paint off of the figure anytime you moved something. Plus...there's just something about that tacky bolo tie that the Joker Goons wore...it works perfectly with Jigsaw's personality I think. If you're willing to spend a little bit of change to get your hands on the "Punisher" variant of Jigsaw and have a Joker Goon lying around, you can still make a kitbashed Jigsaw that will work pretty well in your collection without breaking the bank (although you won't have the smiling expression like mine does here...the Punisher version is a bit more rage filled.) The hardest part is getting those old Toybiz peg joints out of the head socket (a lot of heated water and a hairdryer will be needed, trust me) but once out, the rest is cake. ![]() |

The issue with the WWE Diva heads isn't so much whether it will mount correctly on a Legends body since there's a billion ways to handle that, but proportionally they don't quite work with Legends bodies since they run just a tad larger. With the exception of maybe the red She-Hulk body, WWE heads generally won't scale right on the Miss Marvel, Wasp, or Spider-Girl bodies.

Got a baf ultron and I'm underwhelmed by him. His paint job reminds me of the titan series figs. And his size seems like he should have been just a single fig on card.the worse part is his face. Something about it doesn't scream angry mad robot or confused phsycho. It look more like he went into the white van for free candy and didn't get candy
