Just started collecting these not too long ago... All I ever wanted was an Ironman that can pull off the iconic Ironman pose.. (the one he's attempting in the picture) I started with Giantman thinking he had all of the best articulation possible and found out shortly later he couldn't pull it off.. Then I found Pizza Spiderman and was disappointed he can't do it either..
Then I wanted a set of Avengers and well.. I now only need the Thanos Captain America and the Amazon 4 pack and I think I'll be happy.. Eventually I want the BAF AllFather (I'm a big Odin fan) and the BAF Ultron but.. those will come later. Here's my current collection sitting here on my desk at work. ![]() Last edited by Erland; 12-06-2015 at 01:38 AM.. |

Yeah, that pose is going to be difficult with Legends and their articulation. Granted I suck at posing my figures so someone else here with posing skills might have some ideas. |

The ball hips on that old Fury/Punisher body are maybe the ugliest looking on a Legends body, and the arms can't position down for a neutral pose at all... definitely one of the bucks badly in need of a retirement.

What did you do with the chest piece exactly..did you just glue it on?
I'm still waiting for my own head sculpt to come in. Should have been here on Friday, but for some reason it never showed. Perhaps tomorrow or Tuesday... |

My wife is considering getting me the Spider-Man Absorbing Man BAF case from BBTS as a combination birthday/Christmas gift, but probably about half of the figures are going to be sold off to recoup some of the cost (though that will depend on how they look in-hand).
In your guys' opinions, would it be better for me to sell off Absorbing Man as a completed BAF, or piece by piece? I'm going to have double on some of the pieces either way (likely getting the 2x Venom case), but which option would you all choose if it were you? |

coming from a new legends collector such as myself, i think hasbro and marvel have been doing semi decent with their recent legends releases... I'm hoping for a spiderman noir eventually, possibly Doc Green hulk, i would LOVE a current looking version of howard the duck, spider-ham, even the NEW daredevil costume.
Also i have noticed that they've been doing action figure covers lately maybe if we're lucky we'll see a current DD, space knight venom, and a few others. So is MJ still in the MU? I haven't followed the comics in a while... |

So what figures are you keeping from the case? Honestly, most of the members here who have bought cases with the intent to sell off some figures have not had a ton of luck. To be quite honest, if you only want a couple of the figures, you are better off waiting to get them at retail or from Amazon. Heck some of the most recent waves are on Ebay and going for less than the full case cost 6 months ago.
Going back to your BAF question, piece by piece might be a better idea. I have seen the recent All Father BAF go for cheap, but certain parts, like the legs for example, will go for more money. This isn't always the case, but it does happen sometimes. You're best bet might be to wait a bit, see where the prices go, and then sell your stuff. |

I'd just sell off the Absorbing man as a completed figure. You might get less for him than you would if you were to sell off the pieces individually, but at the same time, it's the one sure fire way to prevent yourself from being stuck with a bag full of BAF pieces that no one wants.

It wouldn't be a case of necessarily trying to make back what was spent, mostly just getting the figures we don't want out to people who do want them. Especially since I'm more than happy to sell a figure off for a lower price if it's divulged of its BAF part. Also, while lately the local stores have been pretty good about ordering the newest waves, it's not always the case, and given the current popularity of Spider-Gwen, I'd like to at least lock her in. Boy Blunder, I'm with Kirathis on this. Most of these figures end up hitting retail and people who didn't order a case buy who they need from their local stores (Target, Toys R Us, whatever).

Yeah...I'm stuck with a bag of BAF parts myself for figures I'm too far away from completing (like an arm or a head, but I need the other 5 parts) and it's just too much trouble to list them on Ebay, or go through the trade process here. So they sit in the closet in a ziploc...waiting...

Mary Jane is now for some reason moved away and is working as Tony Stark's assistant or something to that nature. also Spider-man's current costume has slighty changed, eyes and chest emblem has a green glow to them. Also now Peter Parker has become more like bruce wayne/Batman... millionaire playboy, now has a Spider-mobile, spider bike etc. seems to have endless funding similar to batman/bruce wayne.

Ditto. Last year destroyed my wallet. So glad I am less inclined toward many of the figures so far this year. Then again, I was not planning on the Ant-Man wave and ended up with all of them so even the best laid plans are destroyed by a good movie and a "well I only need these two to complete the BAF now" mentality.

I doubt there will be many (any?) but if anyone orders a case and does not want Morbius, hit me up please I'll be glad to pay for the figure at cost and shipping, and you can even keep the BAF part.
Of course, if I run by him at amazon first I'll get him that way. |
