Attuma and sauron are less known also i'd be shocked if sauron gets released unless he's in a movie as well as Attuma which could happen more likely i have heard rumors of a namor movie the question is when ...
MCU do plan to have 67 characters in their film infinity war part 1 and is supposedly very linked to the comic also Namor alone is going to be a store exclusive when shown at SDCC, so Tiger shark is the closet villain your going to get for Namor so far, also they seem to be part of the F4 brand so erm doesnt seem it wont be for a while, look at the X-men related characters , x-force storm was a surprise for me let alone jubilee. I think it would be different if the Avengers films were like the x-men or Fantastic 4 films. Didn't the F4 finish in comics ?? I dunno haven't seen anything from them in a while |

I frequent comicvine but yeah their forums can quickly turn into a dark pit of hatred if you misstep, not as negative as imdb though. Like one guy would say "I really like Scarlet Witch," and then five guys would say "ugh she's a bitch who killed all the mutants and Marvel should kill her and be done with it." Or I thought it was great when I read a guy say that just because most people like the Force Awakens doesn't make it a good movie and then a bunch of people started agreeing with him (like 6 people) as if TFA were somehow worse than the PT. I like comicvine for the services that can be found but it's still the internet and darkness is abound in the comments. I leave you with the fact that there's a user there who aggressively insists that Bat-villain Bane is in no way Latino, we're talking about the Bane from fake Cuba who dresses like a fetishist Mexican wrestler and frequently throws Spanish into his dialogue.

May your select Venom have better luck standing than mine has. He's on a base and leaning against the wall

I display him without the backpack but he is still very top heavy by design and the ankles are loose. I think this might just be mine with the ankle problem because I've seen others standing just fine. Even leaning against the wall it's still my favorite Venom toy for capturing the McFarlane look so well. He also gets points for surviving more than one fall (*looks to over a dozen McFarlane toys who've fallen to their death*).

![]() Aside from Monet's "Girl #4" face, it's pretty great. I'd love a figure of that Psylocke design, and his Magneto is a semi-nice combination of classic and Bachalo's Marvel Now look. |

For what it's worth Sam Alexander has grown on me a lot. I still prefer the more mature Richard we had from Annihilation to his death but I'll give Loeb credit (I'll also always Jeph Loeb for Batman The Long Halloween) for establishing this new Nova pretty well.
Bendis isn't the only one and yes I think it's pretty fair to place some blame on the company overall since they still have their bottom line but Bendis is a particular example of screwing with what made certain characters appealing. I think Bendis' problem is he's the type who goes "I have this really great idea. Oh but this character has all this established history that counteracts that idea. I know, I'll just ignore it because my idea is better". Probably harsher than it needs to be but seeing things he has done, it really makes me wonder. @VonPooten I read his Guardians up until about 2 months ago. In all that time I never saw an explanation for the appearance change so I am just going to say yes, total hand wave. Side note, kind of sad I stopped reading comics since Abnett just started a new Guardians based series that sounds awesome. |

There is always something interesting to read on CV.... I've made it my main site for current comic info. as i said some of the members with their whining or babbling on there are semi entertaining as well. |

D'you know what... I hate Greg Land, and reading Uncanny X-Men #1 I rolled my eyes a few times recognising some of his many traces, but, damn, I have to admit that he pulled off this splash page.

I love X-Men and I'm curious about the story, but I will not purchase a single copy as long as Land is on art. I'd rather have Liefield.

Greg Land's Edge of spider-verse # 2 spider-gwen variant is still to this day a big Money book. i don't really see any problem with his art. you want to vomit check out both the 2015 and the current Silk series. artist Stacey Lee just makes the series looks like crap in my eyes. all cartoony and very anime like. Another very crude looking comic that makes me cringe is Squirrel girl with artist Erica henderson.... i can not understand the fascination with this series but it's a seller.
Now comparing both Stacey lee and Erica hendersons's art to Greg Land's REAL BIG DIFFERENCE.... There's a difference between art that's not your cup of tea, and art that's friggin' traced. Sure, it's gussied up with detailed linework and awesome coloring, but it's still like an Instagram filter on a photocopy. |

Yeah I'd rather have Silk and Squirrel Girl style art over creepy porn traces any day. At least they have talent and a style, even if you don't like it, Land is just a creepy hack.
