Mate it would be so good. Blue Marvel in either of his recent looks on the Grim Reaper buck would be perfect, an updated Black Panther, All-New Captain Marvel, perhaps a translucent Monica Rambeau?!
I understand where you're coming from, but sometimes there's only so much you can talk about one wave of figures which is coming out, especially given that most of us haven't even received our Absorbing Man wave yet. It passes the time and is also pretty fun to discuss current comics and characters that would do well to have the Marvel Legends treatment. After all, aren't figure wish lists and speculation half the fun of collecting? |

Yeaaah, that is the truth, haha. To be honest I think we're all just holding our breath for Toy Fair. Last year they revealed the most figures there, and I know I'm hoping for a Wonder Man, Captain Britain, Blue Marvel and Spectrum. Anything else is just icing!

Wonder Man would be sweet (roll of the dice as to which costume they'll decide on though), and I'd pick up a Blue Marvel for my shelf to punch my Sentry figure into space. =)

I am definitely just waiting for Toy Fair. we had SO much come at us during the summer, these next couple of waves were not THAT exciting to me (a few figures here or there and that's it). The combined anticipation and dread of the announcement of the X-wave line up....I mean I know normally SDCC is the big one for me, but since that wave is going to be revealed at TF i'm more looking forward to that. Good thing too since last year's SDCC was mostly a letdown.
I hope we get a Shang Chi figure reveal. As well as Blue Marvel...Spectrum, all the rest you mentioned Van. I don't know how any of those would fit into the rumored wave reveals, maybe we will have a generic Avengers wave after all? Gah, only about a month to go. Did someone say, Blue Marvel?
![]() I don't even ask for my namesake much because I stand firm in the belief that he's not far off... |

Blue Marvel can be included as a "Dudes who owned the Sentry" swap variant of an Avengers wave. =)

"Dudes who owned the Sentry, Ares, Wonder Man, Iron Man, and Ms Marvel" ...just a few tweaks for posterity, of course!

Shang chi, Blue Marvel, Wonder Man, Spectrum, Nighthawk, Hellstorm & Gargoyle would be a dream wave for me! Well excluding a classic X-men wave with FA Storm, Sunfire, Thunderbird, Polaris and a Sauron BAF!

Sauron BAF.... Don't give us false hope! At least you lot are getting Jane Foster Thor and FalCap! I'm so surprised they haven't announced ML versions of those yet to capitalise on the popularity. Ms. Marvel, too. |

I'm pretty sure Blue Marvel also beat Hyperion at one point. King Hyperion no less, though he was greatly weakened I think.

All this talk of tracing in comics has given me a wicked urge to watch Chasing Amy LOL.

I want Nextwave Monica and Elsa Bloodstone. They can also pack a maskless Machine Man head with one.

Not sure if this has been brought up yet or if it has been confirmed, but my friend told me about this yesterday.
Idle Hands: Toy Fair 2016: A Second Chance at The Avengers Action Figures I'm looking forward to this if it is true, now let us have Scarlet Wtich, Quicksilver, Vision, and Falcon! |

Greg Land tracing? Preposterous!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And I don't think it'd be appropriate to show the source for this tracing: ![]() Edit: I always hated how weird magneto's helmet looked in Marvel Zombies, and now I see it's 'cause Greg Land was too lazy to even change the shape of the helmet from the image he swiped! ![]() |

I'll take Perez, Byrne, Buscema, Adams, Lee & Layton over the vast majority of todays "artists"

A little Toy Biz Marvel Legends love...my latest pick up...(FINALLY!)
![]() Sorry Hasbro...but I got tired of waiting for another re-issue or a future BAF of this guy. I doubt you could have pulled it off anyways, as this Doc is clearly "superior..." Heh... ![]() I was trying to get away from the artist talk, but since I'm sure that someone here will know, but what ever happened to Mark Brooks? I remember his work, mostly from the Marvel Age version of Spider-Man, and I always thought his artwork was fantastic... |

If you're familiar with Toy Biz era Legends figures, it's really not all that different. Since the toy had remained in the package for over ten years, I did give it a nice warm bath in water before I attempted to move any of the joints because of possible paint lock (which there was on the tentacles) but once that was done, I've had no problems with him since. Plastic is nice and solid, paint apps crisp and clean, and those articulated thumbs...goodness was some of the ToyBiz stuff really good when they were on point.
The only issue I've had is that due to his sculpt, he has a sort of wide gait at the hips, and no ankle rocker, but I plan on posing Doc like this or in something similar to it when I get the room, so it's of no bother. Granted, I am cheating a little with this pose, as I have him slightly leaning on the bins behind him, but the fact that I can pose the Doc like this to begin with is awesome. The price was a little hefty (I paid a little over forty dollars shipped) but considering that I've been waiting for Hasbro to either re-release Doc Ock, or do him possibly as a build a figure, it made the extra cost easier to swallow. Plus, I have a feeling that when we do get him eventually, he won't be as well done overall. Better to drop 40 dollars now, than to buy possibly an entire wave sometime down the line, only to be ultimately disappointed in some fashion. Quote:
It came down to both that version and the original Toy Biz versions when I was hunting him down, but the seller liked my offer for the classic version while the other just kinda sat on it, so I snagged him up! Who wants anything other than classic Otto anyways? lol |

Man, that series 8 Doc Ock is the best. I remember waiting FOREVER to find one on the secondary at a decent price, and ending up finding him in a convention bin for $5! (well, the silver and green repaint, but whatever... lol). Come to think of it, I never got around to repainting his silver bits orange. Think I'll hit that up tonight. =P
