If you don't mind my asking, how much did they run you? I assume you're in Europe. Can you get another one and trade them?

It's all good, I know. Actually I'm in the Texas Country...lol. I bought it off an eBay seller who has hooked me up in the past with this rare stuff. He sells them for $140.00 on eBay. He sold them to me for 100 each.

Ahhhh. Sweet deal. Wish I had some cash, I coulda bought them loose off eBay from China for around $30 per figure for the 2 I need back before it was released. I know I could still get a hookup if I tried hard enough and had the cash now. Right now I'm so cash poor... totally stuck trading for stuff.

I absolutely love that Ultron except for the ankles. I want to swap the Target 3-pack lower legs onto that figure. And having that Stark head is a dream. Hopefully Hasbro releases it with another IM soon. It will look awesome on a suited body, like Banner or Chameleon. Making those 2 figures Euro Disney excl. was a total dick move of them.

Speaking of head swaps, would you be able to take some pics of some with that head?

Cool! At least on one suited body if not multiple different versions would be appreciated. Preferably the ones I mentioned, but Coulson will work in a pinch.

On a related note, I think putting the Silvermane head from SD on that Ultron would also be a cool stand-in until they (hopefully) make a body for him. Although that's a long-shot. I think the neck-peg is totally different though.

Also, not a sports fan at all so had no clue playoffs were in the... offing right now ;^)

Lol. It's like you are speaking Skrull or something right now. Klaatu, Barada, Nikto! Lol.

Honestly, I understand what you mean, but could not tell you who each player plays for, why anyone is excited about particular teams playing each other, etc. Think of me like Leonard from TBBT. :^P

@TBM, The Brotherhood at their finest! I'm still struggling to recover from that hair on Mystique, though. What were they thinking?!

For those considering them, keep one thing in mind. They are great but the base is light. You will either need to weigh the base down, attach the bottom with an adhesive of some kind or my personal preference; learn to manipulate the stand to provide a counter-balance for your figure.
There are a number of ways you can counterweight the stand and hide the base (using rubble, a piece of diorama, another figure, etc), but yes utilising the stand's height and extra clips is a brilliant facet! It's a wonderful way to balance heavier figures or, as TBM showcased, a figure and an effect/object. For the price they come at, it's a steal.

@Dreadnox & @Von

Thanks, guys! Dread, why don't you post pics of your set-ups anymore? You pose well and I miss looking at photos of your set-ups. Not that I don't enjoy your reviews, I've watched almost all of them lol...I just would also enjoy seeing what you come up with for your displays!

@Squeeze

Thanks for the pertinent info, buddy! This is going to sound pretty shallow, especially considering the truth of your info....but I weight-train and lift heavy in 4 to 5 of my weekly workouts. I consume synthetic whey shakes (after the gym) along with the lean protein I prepare for meals and both methods are essential for strength and recovery. While I totally dig the real value of what you are espousing, I can't use strictly supplements for my needs. The strain it would put on my kidneys would be too great, in my opinion. I'm certain you are going to read me the riot act, which I deserve given the wisdom of your info...I just don't know how else to maintain the expectations I have for my body (been working out ever since wrestling and football in HS).

@Kirathis and @Von

Obitsu stands have been very good to me and I've been keen on them for a few years now. Kirathis, you are right, Mags is being held up by one. However, not the 'metal' slab keeping Hulk at bay, those are Stage Act 4 stands. Both of you are right about the utility of the stands, provided that you are good at balancing things. There's definitely a 'trick' to them and they can be frustrating if you are not patient. I have some pics where I actually impressed myself with how I was able to implement them, but they are largely DCUC pics and they wouldn't be appropriate here. I have some older photos in which I was still getting the hang of them that I've posted here before:

Oh yeah totally agree, using rubble and dio pieces to weigh down and hide the stands is a great solution. I actually meant to list that in mine but I kept revamping what I wrote and left it out LOL.

@TBM
Yeah, I did not think the ones with the metal were Obitsu but I was not sure from the quick glance I gave them.

I will have to pick your brain about diet and exercise sometime since you mentioned it. Been working on my own since March and it sucks LOL.

Nice Daredevil haul Raf! If I didn't have one, I would have jumped for the chance to own one.
*Although if someone doesn't want their unmasked head, I could use one.

Thanks...if you need the extra head then I'll just send you another DD. You could use the body for customizing or anything you want. PM me your address please.

I don't have Banner loose. I tried Chameleon but his ball-neck is slightly bigger than IM's. Agent C is a better fit...

Does the unmasked Daredevil head fit on Machine Man? Because that could be a quick and dirty start to a Nextwave MM custom...
