As for Taskmaster, the brand new limbs are earmarked for Dr Doom...again, IMO. Taskmaster is fantastic and the standout fig of the wave, for me. My old Taskmaster is officially retired and relegated to retro pics from here on out. Bring on DOOM!! ... Mocking bird is new buck also. The fig seems to be as tall as Beetle and about as lithe. Her head is proportional to her body and I'm happy to report that those initial pictures were as inaccurate as I had anticipated they would be. I like the fig a great deal and it may be my second or third most favorite of the wave. Back in the day, I would've been all over this Onslaught. Nowadays, it's more of a distant memory, though I still think it's a neat design. |

Have to say some sellers are dumb when they have that "or better offer" on ebay, trying to get this MP and the guy only dropped down to $2.00 USD from the original price...what's even the point of asking sheesh. But nice score!

There was no need to sell me on Bobbi, Onslaught, Sharon Carter, or Cap, but now I'm very much looking forward to Scourge and Taskmaster! Might swap out his head for the Udon one, and give him a different sword, but yes those limbs scream Doctor Doom figure. Still disappointed that Hasbro colours their evil evil weapons in cartoonish shades to appease children, but a quick repaint shall fix that!
Does anyone else think that Cap's face is.... odd? It's the way the mask sits above his eyes, it looks rather like.. ![]() |

Onslaught was always a bit ridiculous no matter how awesome we think he is. From what I remember his motivations were extremely murky, he wanted to wipe out humanity so the mutants could inherit the Earth (very much the Magneto in him) but then when the X-men refused to allow that he was just like screw it you all die. He had his return series first with Reborn and then a few years ago with Unleashed but the last time he clearly showed up was in one of Starlin's most recent books where he was just on one of Thanos' monitors, still floating around in the negative zone I guess.

The Cappy wave is at TRU here in the NYC tri-state, bud! Spyne spotted them first and he kicked the info down the line!
@Spyne No sweat, man. When I get home this evening, I'll let you know. Did you want pics, too? @Pravus I think you will enjoy both Taskmaster and Mockingbird immensely. Seriously, they are both pretty unique sculpts. About Onslaught, it's shaping up to be an incredible BAF...but it may end up being one of those BAFs that presents a challenge when creating an emotive pose. Dormammu was similar in the sense that his war-skirt hindered the movement of his legs. The good thing is that the plastic used for Onslaught's shoulder armor is made from soft plastic and they can be removed with ease. Edit: @Von LOL After that, I don't know if I can consider this new Cap the definitive "Cap" going forward...I can't unsee your comparison... Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 01-28-2016 at 12:54 PM.. |

you guys are getting me all jealous..... everyone has gotten this new cap wave except for me. I definitely want Cap possibly 2 of him so i can have a regular and a wolf cap, and task master looks cool, can someone explain the different looking head? i've seen him the the skull face, never the machine looking mask.
Also Scourge looks good, but im not really familar with him all. the rest of the wave is blah to me. even though i would like to get a Onslaught. |

series 8 doc does win , if Hasbro pull something better, they can have my money. Who know doc might appear in a the new MCU spidey , depending on the villains i think to make spidey really good have a sinister six film

![]() Personally, this one doesn't look as nice as the Legends one to me. The tentacles have this gray plastic-y look to them whereas the ToyBiz one has superb paint detailing. Plus the green on the outfit doesn't seem to match. I also prefer classic looking versions of characters overall (with a few exceptions), so the ML Doc Ock is the clear victor to me. Although if you're strapped for cash and need a Doc Ock in your collection, I'm sure it'd be a fine substitute for the ML one. I've seen the Origins one for about $30-35 on eBay. |

EDIT: You know what's freakin' cool? I think Doc Ock actually has eyes under his goggles. One part of the figure that people will probably never see, yet the details are still there. Last edited by SymbiSpidey; 01-28-2016 at 04:39 PM.. |

Hasbro did a silver version of Doc Ock for their Spider-Man Origins line, which reuses the same exact mold as the ToyBiz one.

I actually think I'm one of the few people in love with Luke Cage's classic look. The yellow t-shirt look is just kinda boring to me. |
