Wow yeah that Black Panther is definitely on my buy list now. That looks amazing. Fury is definitely an option for army building as well since I have apparently decided I need a big team of Shield agents....

I'd love if they eventually did a Monica Rambeau.

Question, I'm not sure if this came up yet, but this Avengers box set is apparently gonna be available in the UK. Does anyone know where the Captain America is from? I didn't think we ever got a Legends sculpt of his Avengers suit.

It was from the Walmart Exclusive wave of Avengers figures that hit stores back when the first Avengers movie dropped.

Both Captain America and Loki are from the Walmart exclusive Avengers wave.

It's a mess. This is a country where people believe they are entitled to own a gun, use Facebook WHILE WORKING, sports players are far more important than a teacher, people who can not teach tell teachers how to teach, only 4% of the yearly federal budget is given to schools, politicians acting like spoiled babies because they don't want to work with the other side and will hurt as many citizens as it takes until they get their way, blacks believe the police is out to kill them, police believe black people are out to kill them, etc. We've pretty much reverted back to 1816 at this point, just with technology around.

Oh, and yes, an interracial couple is a big deal. We've got friends who just got married last summer, the wife is black and the husband is white. Half of the wife's family refused to show up at the wedding because she was marrying a white guy while his family wanted to call off the wedding because she was black.

Back on topic, I watched the first two episodes of Agent Carter S2 today and want to seriously know why we don't have a Peggy figure yet. What is the hold up Hasbro?

From what I understand this is going to be a Best-Of style wave, not a box set, since having ALL those figures in one box would probably amount to 180 dollars at least (not even counting the Hulkbuster, which uses about five figures worth of plastic) not to mention the fact that the box would be enormous AND heavy. If I had to guess I'd say each figure will come with one piece of Hulkbuster, maybe with different damaged paint apps or something?

Hasbro is really bad with merchandise for the live-action Marvel shows. I don't think we've gotten anything from Agent Carter, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, or Agents of SHIELD yet (though I know AC, AOS, and Daredevil did get Funko POPs).

I'm curious as to what the reasoning is. Is it that the TV shows are aimed at a more adult audience than the all-ages cross section of the movies?

I was gonna wonder if the fact that Peggy doesn't have a costume is why they didn't make a figure but then I remembered Coulson got one despite just wearing a business suit.

There's an extra figure if they all come with a piece of the Hulkbuster. Maybe Hulk will get some pack ins like hands or a comic style head.

Well, when Hulkbuster was first released Blizzard came with both halves of the upper torso, so I could see Hasbro splitting those up... As for a comic style head, I wouldn't count on it, seeing as there's no precedent for it :P

I'd guess it's due to Marvel's Creative Committee. They offered notes on the MCU and handled the merchandising. It was lead by Ike Perlmutter who used to work for Toy Biz and believes girls toys don't sell. He's the reason why we didn't get a Black Widow in 2012 in the 6 inch Avengers line. The MCC aren't over the movies anymore but they still have some say with the tv shows. Civil War or Dr. Strange should be the last movies they had involvment with.

Honestly, I don't care about the AOS, they're not originally from the books, they're all made for TV aside from Quake, so I'd rather see characters from the books show up who have been deserving of a figure (i.e. Monica Rambeau, Dani Moonstar, Cloak and Dagger) then these random TV characters. Maybe if they were an exclusive box set, but they can stay outta my waves.

That said, Sweet Christmas, the Netflix characters really deserve a wave. Luke, Jess, Daredevil, Killgrave, Kingpin, all deserving.

Yeah, but a business suit mold can be recycled for a lot of different things (We've already seen it used for more than one figure). Peggy tends to wear dresses, or at least skirts and a blouse...not really as many practical applications for a mold like that, which makes it less likely to be made. (Before the refrain of "you could make all kinds of female figures!" bear in mind that civilian females are not exactly something retailers ever really clamor for in supposedly-for-boys action figure lines).

In other news, got the new Cap wave yesterday, and the Classic Cap figure is just awesome. My only minor gripe is that the "straps" for the shield don't stay on/in place for anything, but the interchangeable hands are great. And what can be said about a Capwolf head? Pure geeky, silly goodness.

Now if they have her dress in a "spy catsuit" in an episode or something...then we might have a chance, but as it stands right now her outfits are what's likely killing her as a possibility. Hasbro's not so much in the business of single-use molds when they can avoid it.

To be fair, at least they didn't tell Hasbro to turn a pink robot into a purple one.

Just snagged an AllFather-wave Thor last night, and while it's a little bit of a bummer that he's got the older Hasbro articulation, this guy is HUGE! He almost looks out of scale with the rest of our figures!

Also, when did Thor have that sword? I don't mind, it's a pretty nice-looking blade, but I don't recognize it.
