...mild understatement much? It has already been fairly expensive and we have no idea what the SDCC set will be

No, I think the other one I was thinking of was the green Goblin wave, since I still saw so much of that on the shelves last year, but I saw it was actually early 2014.

Still, yeah, it's going to be an expensive year.

Edit: I cannot brain or type today.

@don, I really wouldn't continue with this now. A mod's formally warned us all to stay on topic, so it's best to leave the debate be...

Let's just say....if she's announced I hope it's a different outfit than what you're getting..then you will still have a unique looking figure. I could never wish that little Lorna could not be announced.
It's impossible, I'm afraid. I was foolish enough to order her in her modern/classic costume (to be particular, the era of your avatar), so if she were ever released it would certainly be in that look. Ah well! As you say, I'll have two.

Don't tell Nash that you're hoping she isn't announced, he'll rip you to shreds. But will do post her when I can!

Yup you can! They fit perfectly into his extended arms, but I haven't tried it the regular way. I posted a picture a while back, but if I root through my Photobucket... Here you go, I know it's only one set, but hope this helps!

Awesome, Cheers, i take it that pipes are an extension of the wrists

Nah, I was definitely counting that in one release. I think maybe I was just thinking I spent too much last year.

Wasn't the Hobgoblin wave late 2014? For some reason it feels like that was longer than just this past year.

@warmachine, No problem! Yes they are extensions, but I'm not 100% certain that the pegs are exactly the same. It's safe to assume they are though. Unlike Spidey's hands which need to be trimmed to fit the Bucky Cap mold, I faced no such problem with Iron Fist's.

As for the waves, maybe you were thinking about one of the sets released, Nash? There were a few, what with the S.H.I.E.L.D. three pack, the Ultron/Hulk/Vision, the AoU four pack, the Guardians EE set, exclusive Daredevil/Black Ant... Man, there were a tonne of figures last year!

Hobgoblin and ALl Father were officially 2015 but it's possible they have may have shown up at the end of 2014 like Absorbing Man did. I don't know, I do agree though, I do feel like I've been seeing both those waves for way longer than just one year.

So, I took a bunch of photos of my ML figures the other day, probably about 35-40 photos in total. Would it be all right for me to post them here, or should I just link to my tumblr when I have them posted up there? I don't want to clutter up the page too much with that many images to load, but I would like to share the pics.

I'm sitting here trying to figure out how many waves we have had now too. There's a lot and I rotate my display so often that I don't think I could give an accurate statement.
Regarding SDCC, I'll have to work my magic again and predict what the set will be. They did show off the Abomination last year. Maybe a MAster of Evil set? A Hulk set? I'll have to guess more as SDCC draws closer.

@BoyBlunder. By all means, post a few pics! Maybe not everything ever, but I love seeing how other people have things displayed.

I swear to god if it's a Masters of Evil set I'm gonna eat my goddamn hat. I don't want to have to pay out the wazoo to get an Enchantress.

@Spyne: All right, I'll select my personal favorites once I'm done cropping, and then link to the rest on tumblr. Thanks for the input!

OMG. If it's a MOE set and that's how Enchantress comes, there will be riots in the streets. Or at least on the internet.

Not me of course, I'll get one no matter the price if she's in it.

And to your other comment, yes please post those pictures! I'd love to see the collection. I hope to do the same when I move into the new house at the end of the year.

Technically we did get the masters of evil, zemo from the mandroid wave, the target radioactive man from the 3 pack and tigershark from ultron wave. Though i would like here to be a strictly villians wave with enchantress, calypsa, titania, diamonback, left and right winger and evil goliath baf.

I'm going to want a Melter in there somewhere if it's a MOE set. I approve of all those even if I don't know who Calypsa is (I'll look her up..)

I may have misspelled her name. Essentially she and kraven were an item and after he "died" fighting spiderman she kinda went all kraveney seeking revenge. Mind you this is well before all the retcons and such...i used to have a trading card of her.

Does anybody else recall when like a few months ago Target said something about teaming with Marvel to release products based on the Netflix shows including figures? Did I imagine that or has it gone nowhere since then? I'd like to see a good figure of Daredevil from the show but surprisingly nothing has been seen yet from even the likes of DST who I'd imagined would take that on.

Thus far, the only merchandise at all for the Netflix shows has been some POP bobbleheads and Dorbz figures from Funko.

Ah yes, Calypso! A wonderful custom artist called bluebery made her not too long ago, she would be a welcome addition if done officially.

Does anyone else think it's likely we may see a Purple Man announced at NYTF or SDCC this year? Given the prominence in Jessica Jones show? I never really cared too much if we got him before, but now I think he'd be rather neat to have.
