I've been tempted to buy one. I've seen 'actual' pictures of them and honestly they aren't bad at all. But one ting has stopped me from buying, which many will come down on me for, ... no package LOL

It's crappy to say, but I could see Hasbro raising prices to $25, fans complaining, they blame it on the BAF parts, then they remove the BAF parts and bring the price down to $19-$20.

But honestly, if it ever gets that high, I might tap out. I love legends, but if I can't afford it, I'm done.

A friend of mine gave me a knock off BAF Groot. It's pretty awful. No knee joins, no ankle joints, the shoulders only move back and forth, no ball joint. The arms also came with no pegs in the elbows so I wrapped a paper clip around them to get the to stay lol.
I wouldn't recommend it, but the Deadpool ones might be better.

WOW, this thread has been BUSY today.

Even though this post from Spyne was earlier today, it feels odd quoting a post 5 or so pages back...

I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what I really want and I am having a hard time of it. My usual more Guardians wants apply but all we are likely to see there are movie figures and not the DnA era ones I want. I would love a Blue Marvel. Name recognition from TBM got me to check out his original book on Marvel Unlimited a few months back and I really enjoyed it. Otherwise, I kind of hope it's a bunch of figures everyone has wanted but I do not care about. Then everyone can get what they want and I can save money LOL!

I don't want to clutter up the page too much with that many images to load, but I would like to share the pics.
Nice pics! I especially liked the light shining through Beetle's wings. There is also a collection section here where you can create your own collection thread to showcase your stuff. Might be another good option.

Same. I love the line, but if they're gonna be gouging us like that, then there's already figures in a similar scale but of MUCH better quality.

I'd much rather DnA era guys over movie stuff.

I know. I haven't been online all day due to work, finishing my latest Gamera review, going out for dinner, watching Arrow, and preparing for this weekend's anime convention and there has been like 5 pages since this morning.

I'm lost on all conversations. Things are probably going to get even crazier with Toy Fair and since I'm going to be at a convention, there is probably going to be 20 pages worth of discussion to catch up on each night for me.

Hey guys, I need a lil' advice.
I need an MCU Thor for my Avengers display, & the one that I'dlike to get is the FIGMA, but since I don't have any Figma so far, I'm a little concerned. I already have a mix of ML & Figuarts, so how does Figmas compare in scale, aren't they a little too short to go with ML & Figuarts? Thanks.

I can't say that I've seen the Figma Thor in person, but to me, the best MCU Thor on the market is the Marvel Legends Thor from that recent Amazon 4-pack. It's honestly an amazing figure. You can get it for around $25-30 on eBay, which is kinda expensive for a Legends, but it's still cheaper than the Figma one and it fits better in scale with the Marvel Legends.

I do own one Figma figure though, Kamen Rider Siren, and I also own her Figuarts counterpart. I can definitely say the Figmas seem to be smaller than even Figuarts, so it might not work for Marvel Legends scale, although I can't say for sure.

I'm in agreement with SymbiSpidey's vote for the MCU Thor (from the recent 4pk) as the best of the bunch. The height, sculpt, and articulation are all impressive with this figure. Mind you, this is coming from someone who is not a fan of MCU figs. Nevertheless, I hold that particular Thor in very high regard. I can't offer a comparative analysis with FIGMA's MCU figs since I don't own any, but I imagine that it holds up decently well.

...some pics that might help buttress my point:

Some Toyfair previews are coming already on the main page. I wonder if we'll see anything before official reveals? I assume Hasbro will play it close to the vest with X-wave and that will be the highlight of their reveals, to be done probably Sunday/Monday.

I'm thinking we might see some Civil War stuff first..

I'm really hoping a hulk wave is revealed, i would love a new Joe Fixit, Doc Green, Maestro, A-bomb, the list is endless.

I'm quite sure as other have said though, is that we will see some X waves and as well as some full shots of the civil war figures instead of the sneak peaks that have been posted all over the net.

I would love a Hulk wave. I have the Joe Fixit from years ago, and he has that stupid gimmick with the button on his back to make his arms swing. Ugh. But it's the best (if not only) legends version of Fixit that we ever got. I feel like IF there was a Hulk wave, they would leave out BAF parts. Just a hunch that I have. Play it off where they are already big characters, price points and all that. Although a new Mecha Hulk or some kind of monster would be really cool!
Toy Fair can't come quick enough!

well as i asked everyone a while back, i was wanting a joe fixit, however the legends one looks kinda blah to me... i have a joe fixit from prior to the legends and i thought it looked great however, due to the age and i also played with it, i don't believe it would display well with all my brand new stuff lol

while he is Hulk's villian, they could technically throw him into someone else's wave like how they did red skull onslaught and absorbing man into Spider-man's current wave.... who knows really

Alternately, the BAF parts make a small character, like Gargoyle or a teenage Rick Jones
