This is my choice:

@Kain That's also one of her great looks, but I think Nash is right that anything involving a dress/skirt/long coat is probably out of the picture. Which is a huge shame, because that cuts out 90% of what she wears!

If only Hasbro made accessories like the current DC Icons do, we'd receive all manner of awesome gear..

I suspect that Nico will share some tooling with the Civil War Scarlet Witch. It wont' be perfect, but it'll be "close enough" in Hasbro's mind.

Who do you think, if anyone, will be revealed today? Not sure if they're doing a one per day until the full reveal or if Deadpool was just the teaser until a full reveal.

I'm hoping we get to see either Havok or Kitty Pryde. Those are two that I'd possibly be interested in getting, depending on the costume. I'm thinking though we'll probably see Phoenix next..

I heard somewhere (no idea though), that they were planning on including both Karma and Dani alternate heads with Kitty, to get a quick one-two out there. Do we believe this? I guess it'd be a good way for them to say that they "eventually "released" that Moonstar figure, but again I can't recall where this came from. It was around the time that the set leaked. I'd be up for it!

OMG. Let me say that again. OH EM GEE. Also ZOMG. That would be outstanding. I really was irked that the Moonstar got cancelled because that was going to be her first figure EVER, in any toyline format, not including statues and mini-mates. It left me bitterness towards any cancellations. So this would be fantastic, and I hope you're right!!

Which sucks because they're limiting their options on figures and not fully caring about what the customer wants.

I wouldn't mind accessory packs like DC just revealed. Hell, I'd be all over them, especially if they were to include things like spider webs, a flying Cap shield piece, additional hands for other characters, etc.

Anyway, it's 11:46 in NY, why haven't the reveals started rolling out yet?

It's understandable to think it's started already, given the amount of previews we're already seeing. I would expect maybe another leak or two and then that's it until Saturday.

This show can't start soon enough... What with these new 12"ers being named Marvel Legends and the 3.75" rebrand, it's a constant stream of false hope on the home page!

Yes I would love that! Extra power effects, alternate heads, etc. Although truth be told, I'd prefer what DC are providing with the "Deluxe" figures. That way we could have characters who require extra work, but aren't quite BAF material.

@Nash Haha I hope the rumour's true, too. While I'd love a Marvel Now Kitty, an original appearance/New Mutants figure would be brilliant on the teen buck. That way you could have young Kitty, Mirage, Karma, whip up a couple of custom heads for Magma, Magik and Wolfsbane, and you'd have most of the crew!

Shareholder meetings are likely underway at this moment and much of the news being reported today is probably coming from these gatherings...

About the rumored Dani & Karma heads being shipped with Kitty...I never envisioned them as being the same height or build. That feels a bit like a cop-out. If this is what they meant by "more Marvel Legends figures released in one year than ever before," then I'll be pretty disappointed come 2017. By that reasoning, heads have now become figures. Jameson, Hammerhead, Red Skull, Dirk, Silvermane, Dani, Karma, etc...all count as brand new figs. Damn, that's pretty lazy. Hasbro can't even be bothered to paint their own 're-paints' anymore. LOL

"Thanks for your money clowns. Just buy a bunch of copies of some generic buck and slap these extra heads on them, you can even paint them if you want!" Pretty clever business model. Saves a lot of money in manufacturing costs, while maximizing profit. I'm sure the brainchild of this concept is swiftly climbing the ranks there at Hasbro. What rich and dark comedy...

We all know I would cry. Dani is up there with Jean as one of my all time favourites. I totally bought the statue and minimizes, but that Legend is what I always wanted. I'm actually kinda happy it turned out this way. Now I'm totally buying 3.

I think its more so an easy way to get them out as a "sorry we messed up" I think it comes down to outfits, I agree Dani should be taller than Kitty, perhaps have a little more muscle on her, but I'm hoping they give us the old New Mutants attire from the 80s', Claremont/Sienkiewicz Dani is my dream figure!

Besides Hasbro has to save money to produce more Iron Man and Caps that are just going to sit on the pegs in LCBS

I don't think that's the route they'll be going down as a major practice, but I can't hold it against them when they include alternate heads that make the figure into a different character. I mean, yeah, there's people who would buy a Dirk Anger figure (myself being one of them), but would there be enough to warrant his own release as part of a wave? Probably not. But including his head with the Nick Fury figure? Sure, the outfit isn't 100% accurate, but it ensures that his fans get something for their trouble, while still making sure that the figure sells well enough by making it one with a larger fan-base.

Like I said, I doubt they'll do this as a regular thing, but in some cases like this? I can see it just being good business sense.

That is how I see it too Chuck, sort of a bone to throw for cancelling the other Dani. It wouldn't be perfect and I would much rather have a different Dani outfit, but you won't find me complaining either, if it does turn out to be true.

Speaking of true, truer words could not be spoken on the other part of your post.

Do Kitty's and Dani's outfit match? I feel like I won't be a good fit.

Aaaaand a quick check on Google and I can see how they pull it off. I guess it'll work but I'm not super excited for it.

@Chuck & @boy blunder

What you both say makes perfect sense and I hope you are right. I would hate for this to become a trend moving forward...

Edit:...even though re-paints are already a thing...

@TBM, I do find it rather hilarious if this is their new mantra... Let's be honest here, we know they're crooks when it comes to repaints, they know we know, so they might aswell admit these misgivings in the form of dumping multiple "figures" into one package to share a single body! Good work, Hasbro. Good work. Conversely, I do agree with everyone else that this is the best way to get characters who would never normally receive their own figures *cough*Dirk Anger.

It could work though, if they are their younger counterparts, as I guessed they could be. Man will I be p'ed off if it is Marvel Now Kitty, but forced onto the teen buck. She's a woman now, as tall as any other adult character and more than deserving of an adult body, much like the SDCC Illyana.

Now, Hasbro, tell me that current Kitty is not an adult.

Pardon my ignorance, but which characters are Dani and Karma?

Also, you can't fit the Red Skull head on any other body, so you can't really count that one in your list.
