Black ant and Yellow DD are still hanging around my 5 Walgreens. Hell, I actually ordered them from their website when they came out

Yoooo, apparently you can take the boxing glove out of Deadpool's bazooka and use it as a separate weapon. That's awesome. I'm going to use the extra hands that Scarlet Spiderman came with for Deadpool too.

Any word on whether WalMart Bucky will be a re-deco of the movie figure or a new one for Civil War?

You know...it's funny you said that...because when I was putting it together, I wanted something a little more 70's and early 80's inspired, with the high collar and the cape that was somewhat shorter than the average cape that Panther used to wear. I looked around at a lot of different customs of BP on Figure Realm, eBay, and other sites, and I saw one that had a similar look on an Toy Biz Iron Fist body, and I thought..."Damn, the Morbius body would be perfect for that. (Not to mention a ToyBiz Iron Fist would be the last thing I'd want to use for a cheap buck...cause it's not cheap.) I originally painted to chest portion black to make one solid piece, but then I thought, "70's...What could be more manly than if he was bearing a low neckline to show off his bling?" And there it was... =P

And armored Gamora. I would have LOVED the armored Gamora in 6" Legends. Thankfully I have been limiting my 3.75 figures to cosmic stuff. Just picked up Yondu, Carol and the Vance/FalCap pack tonight because I apparently have not spent enough money this week.

Tends to depend on the store and how well they handle it. Walgreens was bad about their site orders with their first exclusive for Agent Venom but then an absolute breeze with Black Ant. I found yellow DD in store so I cannot comment on website for that. TRU tends to always oversell stuff on their site and then have to cancel orders. I cannot comment on Walmart but I agree with others that their exclusives tend to be a pain when it comes to in-store. Target's website is usually good to price match their store with their inevitably always sold out exclusives on their website.

Oh and WTH is written on Punisher's forehead? I would have MUCH preferred a Checchetto style Punisher but I am slowly trying to piece together a custom of that style anyway.

I am slightly annoyed by the inclusion of green Iron Fist, Dormammu and Hobgoblin. We just got other versions of those same characters last year so a bit of more variation would have been nice. Of course I will still be getting at least the green Iron Fist because I am a total hypocrite when it comes to Legends.

I also think I saw the epitome of peg warming again today. The Meijer in the next large town over STILL has a couple Constrictors and a Hope from the Terrax wave on the peg at full price.

I love that they included Dormammu and its makes me excited for potential rereleases of other SDCC exclusive figures. Magik needs to be a standard release at some point. Moonstone would also be nice.

The Hobgoblins are completely different characters and sculpts, so they're fine, and Dormammu is an exclusive being released mass market like he should be been in the first place. Only repaints should be SDCC Exclusives, unique sculpt figures need to see a retail release. Hopefully Hela and Magik will see retail releases, though they'll be harder to repaint so I doubt it.

I'm quite disappointed with Hasbro's reveals right now.

First off, for Spider-Man, classic Hobgoblin is the only thing that is awesome. I'll get Miles Spidey, but I don't need a cartoon version of Peter nor Silk. And what is up with there only being 4 figures in the wave? What about a BAF?

Next up, the Cap waves suck. Outside of Black Panther, there is nothing I find worth buying. No Falcon, no more Serpent Society members, LAME!!!

Doctor Strange... Really, that's it? A repaint of a SDCC figure, a movie version of Strange, and another repaint of him? Iron Fist might be cool, but Nico is the only one worth buying. However, out of all the badass outfits she has worn in the comics they went with one of the most blandest one of them all. SUPER LAME!!

The X-Men wave selection is crap. Rogue is the only one worth getting. Hell, like Nico, they went with the more boring design choice for Kitty.

Not a fan of high profile characters like Punisher and Namor being store exclusives.

Overall, this Toy Fair is turning out to leaving a lot to be desired all across the board.

@Kirathis

I didn't see that Gamora until after my post. It should have been added to my 3.75" envy list, but I'm quite confident it's coming with the next flick-spawned wave.

@Dr Kain

I honestly think that Strange wave is missing a couple of figs, but I could also be wrong. Don't forget that Cobra is confirmed, so we'll likely see more Serpent Society characters...there are a lot of them, man. I could see Hasbro throwing them in as random villains on numerous future waves. Who knows, maybe they'll be a SDCC set.

You're not. There are four more figures, all from the movie making up the rest of that wave, but they're not ready to show them (They did show movie Strange at their panel, but no photography was allowed).

Something to indicate that he's a prototype/not a finalized figure and therefore can't be confused as such.

I definitely agree with Dormammu (especially as the friggin' BAF), but I think we can forgive Hasbro for the second Iron Fist figure. This seems like a more definitive one, being in his Immortal Iron Fist costume and sporting energy hands!

I completely disagree. With the sheer amount of effort that people make in order to obtain those SDCC boxsets, they need to know that all that time and money is worth it. SDCC figures should stay exclusive to enhance the appreciation people have for those figures because, unlike regular retail ones, these were "earned."

I know that sounds very elitist, but, what's the point in even having the SDCC set if the figures just get re-released at retail? No-one would bother buying it.

As for Gamora, thats the dream figure aside from Dani.

and I still can see Magik popping up in this wave with Sister Grim. I'm surprised Scarlet Witch wasn't thrown in this wave either. That figure looks awesome.

Kitty has been wearing this suit for the last decade, the only one she'd worn nearly as long was her original uniform or the Shadowcat (blue suit) and they wouldn't have made that because of the puffy arms not translating well into an action figure.

I will admit though, Cable and Havok are passable, When did Cable even look like that? Jim Lee era Psylocke was the figure that truly should have been in the wave

ANyone else feels they cheapened out on the BAF's? A re-use of of the SDCC exclusive and ANt-man is just an upscaled 6" version. Kind of sucks that they are now using RE-USES of figures for BAF's. I mean with so many repaints, they could not fit a Sentinel repaint in there or ANOTHER Fin Fang Foom; you know that orange one from SDCC they promised so long ago?

When they start re-paintingre-using regular figures and calling them BAF's. that is now the lowest point of Marvel Legends under Hasbro.

They haven't announced the X-Men BAF, you might get your sentinel. As for the Dormammu, no, I want him, but I'm not paying an absurd amount for him. Besides when you shell out for SDCC things, you should know they're gonna release a part of it in the future.

@ChuckSass, Cable only looked like that during the mini-series X-Sanction, which served the purpose of retconning his death the year before in Second Coming and bringing him back into the fold. A number of Cable's looks would have been preferable to this, but eh, at least it's not an awful 90's design.

As for the SDCC set, they really aren't that expensive. I paid less for the Book of Vishanti set on Ebay (with postage and custom charges) than I do for a regular wave, which to me is fine. They were characters that I love, and at about $20 a figure I call that a fair deal.
The problem is when people spend days queuing to get these "exclusive" sets, only to be told that what they did was pointless and they can buy the same figures the next year at retail. One figure is bearable (Star Lord in the EE set, Dormammu as the BAF), but any more is unacceptable.

I'm really happy with what was shown. I'll be happy with the majority of everything we're getting. I feel like stuff is missing. They could still show things before the end of the show I suppose.
