Hrm...really hope Punisher has another set of gun holding hands. One would think that would be an absolute requirement for Punisher if no one else.

I got mixed feelings about falcon. I like it but would prefer a single release because I personally like the winter soldier bucky with the mask better.. as For war Machine..... Damn it I literally just bought the Hulkbuster one yesterday so I gotta pass.

Havok goes in the X-Men wave, not the Dr. Strange wave.

Deadpool is the comics version, not a movie version.

The TRU three-pack is likewise comic versions, not MCU versions.

Part of me hopes that these are in fact 3-packs. How perfect would Sharon Carter look in Team Cap's pack and Vision in Team Iron Man's???

Honestly these waves are not that mind blowing... while i can't say im passing on all of them, i'll probably be picking and choosing some from each wave but definitely not buying the whole wave of any of these.

Sigh, if figures that the only two I want from the Cap Series are Black Panther and Nick Fury but I want the BAF Giant Man. I may have to see about the cost of sourcing the other pieces separately. If I had to guess, Cap and Iron Man will once again be double-packed so extra pieces from them should be relatively easy.

For not being all that interested in X characters anymore I am also highly amused by the fact I want basically every character in that wave. If Madrox and Gambit replaced Cable and Phoenix I could knock out probably all the X characters I would be mostly interested in having in one fell swoop LOL. I am also shocked there is no version of Wolverine in sight in that wave.

So we're getting a new Falcon after all. Only movie heroes we need are Vision and Quicksilver then, right?

EDIT: and obviously spiderman but they're not going to reveal him just yet.

Don't feel bad, i didn't know or recognize her either.. i also have no intention on buying her figure. Don't see what all the fuss is about her.

is Kate really in a 3-Pack? thats depressing. I don't need a vision or Sam Wilson Cap.

Kate just isn't for everyone. She's a great character, but hey, if you don't like good well written female characters, you don't like well written female characters.

That Spider-Woman book was the most underrated last year, from that soft-reboot at #5 and on, the book is fantastic.

Jessica's book was good, but it lost me a little with how blatantly reactionary to Batgirl of Burnside it was

As far as Kate Bishop goes, she's fairly prominent now, but outside of Hawkeye and Young Avengers, she hasn't made a big impact, so it's understandable if people don't recognise her (much like Nico).

Nyeeh, I don't know about that. On a skin-deep level perhaps, but Spider-Woman has always been an oddball character. Werewolf by Night was a supporting character in her original series (much like Porcupine is in the current one), she's always been a PI/detective-esque character, and since Bendis brought her back into the fold in 2004, she's been very comic relief-centric and, well, "quirky."

Plus DeConnick upped that factor by bringing her into Captain Marvel, and I guess that's how Hopeless writes her currently. I do understand the comparison with Batgirl, though. Definitely. Although I think a better comparison would be Mark Waid's Daredevil, perhaps?

It's more in the marketing than in the execution. The Manara cover had horrible backlash, warranted or not YMMV. That, combined with the positive buzz Batgirl was getting and it's pretty 1+1. Spider-Gwen's closer to the spirit of what Fletcher and Stewart tried to do with Babs in character I think, but the design ethos being aped in Jess' new costume is pretty blatant. Palling her around with Carol actually doesn't help as it emphasizes the Kara/Babs relationship parallels.

The artist claims that he was already working on the costume before Batgirl of Burnside and that it's just a coincidence it looks similar and came out right after BOB got all that acclaim and buzz, but of course, it's not like artists lying is a new thing.

It's kind of weird they would do a new Vision figure and then make it his Uncanny design instead of the MCU one.

And I don't think they'll ever make a Quicksilver figure in the Legends scale. There was almost nothing released for the character when Age of Ultron came out.

Yes I can certainly see that, especially since the redesign only came into play from #5 onwards, which gave it a clunky and thrown-together feeling (which plays into the theory that it was a reaction to BOB's success). I'd still give the series a chance, though. The ANAD Spider-Woman especially is very funny.

Oh and as for Jess/Carol's friendship, that's pretty much been going since Bendis' Avengers days, but became a staple for the two's characters when DeConnick wrote both of them in 2012.

I'm praying that, since they're acknowledging Daniel Acuna's Avengers run with Vision, they'll consider releasing his design of Quicksilver. It's easily his best modern costume to date:

Either that or one of his various classic looks. Anything. Just another Pietro would be grand!

I was specifically talking MCU Quicksilver, so yeah, a modern comic costume is a possibility.

I wish was had pictures of everything they announced, and I would really like to see the BAFs. Perhaps they will come rolling out soon.

We do have pictures of everything they announced? Except for the movie Strange shown during the panel.

The only things we don't have images for are the unannounced BAFs and remaining figures in the Spidey, Strange, and Civil War waves but those were also unannounced.

Were there pictures of the Toys R Us 3 pack with Falcon, Vision and Kate Bishop? Or the Target and Walmart 2 packs? I must have missed them.
