Speaking of the Cap figure, I meant to ask earlier if I am the only one who finds the shoulder straps utterly pointless? The second I pulled him out of the plastic, the straps fell off of his shoulders. I cannot help but feel like Hasbro cheaped out on the cross piece to keep them on the figure.

I may end up selling my Red Onslaught, although I might wait until I get the Rogue figure with the regular Onslaught head and sell it with both head options. Still on the fence as I was never an Onslaught fan.

Yeah, see I totally get that. I like my first Onslaught just fine, and as a character I think Red Onslaught is ridiculous. I guess I figured I'd complete the BAF because that Taskmaster is sweet. It definitely wasn't for the Red Skull head. I will likely build Red Onslaught and not put the head on, and just have an updated onslaught when the X-men wave cones out. Even then I'm not sure. I got Skurge and Cottonmouth to have more minor villains in my ranks, and Sharon and Cap for their figures as well, none of the them for the BAF piece.

As I joked to my friend I was out with last night, this may be the first BAF I have all the parts to, but don't build the BAF. Still, not going to sell them off just in case I change my mind.

+1 on the Walmart prices. The girlfriend just sent me a pic of legends prices. Must be a company wide thing.

Decided to build Red Onslaught after all for s**ts and giggles. Two things, the neck peg on mine does not move. AT ALL. It's like it is glued down tight or something. That's fine though...but the bigger issues it that the left arm peg is too small for the left arm hole. Definitely have the correct arm in the right peg hole..I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue? I'm thinking I just got the wrong piece packed in.

The only good news on it I guess is that the shoulder piece does kind of hold that arm in...but its' still annoying.

Also I'm going to not even bother with the red skull head since I'm having an issue with the peg. I'll just wait til I get the other Onslaught head in the X-wave.....

I would recommend warming the neck peg up with a hair dryer and seeing if that helps break it loose, sometimes the glue they use in the sweatshop is a little messy

Thanks I will do that! The odd thing is neck peg is like that on both torso pieces I have (I bought a second mockingbird for a Firestar head custom). Very weird

Could very well be a bad batch or poor QC. The lower torso on my Hulkbuster BAF is extremely difficult to rotate or do any type of ab crunch. Hasbro has gotta get on top of things.

Asking hasbro to be on top of qc is like asking the military to actually research their intelligence....rather than relying on guesses from fifth graders.

So, after doing research on Spider Gwen and why every one is hunting her down, I realized that I like Spider Gwen and must join the struggle of searching for her. My knowledge of Spider-man characters doesn't go beyond the 90s Cartoon and the movies, but I am slowly catching up (I hope my local collector toy shop has her). Anyways, whats this about a Marvel Legends Sale going on?

Feel the same way, had no interest in getting her at all and now I'm on a heavy search. But Walmart is having special pricing on almost all of the legends. $15.98. Can't say for sure if it is just a sale or permanent pricing. The reason is because they don't have any "Rollback" stickers or anything of the sort next to the prices. Just strictly the $15.98 sticker.

I know a lot of their figures are that price on line, I got war machine for 12.98 and Im about to get hulk for $14.00. Knowing my walmart though, its nothing but shelf warmers so I am not even going to bother going Spider-Gwen hunting.

Good to know other Walmarts are also a lower price. I figured that since Carthage is in backwoods BFE, they had no clue what they were doing. HOping it's more than temporary, it's crazy to think 10 years ago we got Legends with more articulation and a comic book for less than $10. I know prices on things have gone up but still.....

You are not the only one with the neck peg issue Nash. Mine was so tight I could barely get the head on because with the peg straight up, the head barely fits thanks to the armor. The right arm was super stiff too but I attribute that to the fact the figures sat in my trunk until I got off work at midnight. Hoping a night and day in my apartment may have warmed it up some. Otherwise it's heat and move time when I get home from work. Grrr just thinking about that left leg is tweaking me off though. I almost think it's missing the tiny ridge inside for the tiny ridge on the peg to lock on to.

Really hated the fact that Hasbro decided to give Absorbing Man the flat, unpainted, grey plastic ball and chain that they did, and I didn't want to take one of the extra ones from my Thunderball figure (I like having him dual wield,) so I gave the accessory a make-over with a semi glossy black wash and some silver dry brushing to better match his iron-infused hand. Came out better than I thought it would.

IT'S ABSORBING TIME! (Or whatever cheesy catchphrase Absorbing Man would use....)
