That's not really a valid reason. People pay to own something before others, so when it's reissued, there's nothing to it but to suck it up. You owned it for months or years before then.
The real problem is that the bodies on some of the figures aren't great or don't fit the character. We need updated versions anyway. |

Awesome displays! I especially like the Hulk vs Hulkbuster and the use of your consoles to create the combat area @kenm I think I just had a seizure seeing that price tag. I do not think I could spend that on a single Legends figure. That being said, it's something you really wanted and you felt justified in it so hey, awesome for you! Congrats. That wave was a bitch to find. _______________ I still maintain that Hasbro should leverage the power of their website more. Re-releasing old characters as website exclusives would boost their revenue without having to sacrifice new waves released to retail. The potential does exist for hindering new versions of characters but in many cases, collectors would quite probably buy both. Of course it all depends on their contracts with Marvel but it seems like leaving money on the table with what many figures go for on the secondary market. Hell, if they released full sentinels for $75-100 a pop they would sell out. |

And personally, I wish Jubilee looked more like her classic self. Just a black jumpsuit with a yellow jacket didn't cut it for me. I know Hasbro is making more recent versions of characters, and that's fine. I don't expect them to start doing everything that I want all of a sudden haha. |

Posting this just because everyone is using this term now: what you own aren't "bucks." A "buck" is a block that has holes in it, that they build an action figure around. It's not a figure. What you're trying to articulate is that one of the *figures* or *bodies* you were using in the custom broke.
This article explains what a buck is, about halfway down: OAFE - WWF: The Killer Bees review |

So, now that the trailer for Civil War is out, I will admit that I was wrong about Ultimate Spider-Man possibly being the look we will get for the film. That would have been better than what they showed off in the final Civil War trailer today. You would think that despite the fued between Fox and Marvel, that Marvel would have at least heeded the advice from one of the biggest comic movies of all time..."don't make the suit animated". It (along with the changes made to the costume) looked pretty awful.

I LOVE the way the suit looks. It has that very Romita style eyes. And they move like they used to in the cartoon(s) and in the comics. I feel like it's a smart move. Again, that's just me, but I am very happy with it.
*Edit- I think the only that that's animated on the suit is the eyes. |

I feel like we got Mego Spider-Man in the movie. But that's just me, if someone else likes it more power to them. Maybe we'll see a resurgence in Mego product?

The civil war trailer was awesome
im guessing im the only one concerned for warmachine XD ... i had to examine spidermans new look , i got a bit concerned with the webbing... but my eyes were failing me.. nice design reminds me of #1 st appearance suit, which makes sense and can be appreciated the mechanized eyes look good more comic accurate. Think marvel are doing well with their MCU the only thing i hate about it is no x-men , or Fantastic Four then i can die in Peace when that happens |

The entire suit, along with the eyes, we're rendered. No human being has a perfectly oval head like that. Marvel's Kevin Feige also said on multiple occasions that the suit for Civil War would be entirely CG, which is what started the speculation we might see Iron Spider instead of the Spider-Man we know and love.
I know they wanted to distance themselves from ASM, but the suit from ASM2 was flawless. This new look screams "Big Time Spider-Man", which cause my skin to crawl. The animated eyes also do the look a disservice, as it makes it TOO cartoony. Did he steal Rorschach's mask and dye it? Don't get me wrong, I am excited to see Spidey finally in the MCU, but for as much time they have been prepping and hyping this, it feels underwhelming and left me disappointed. |

There were some things I liked about the trailer though. Black Panther looked great (looks like he'll be having a couple of epic fights with Bucky) and Ant Man riding on Hawkeye's arrow = awesome.

Don't get me wrong, I'm ecstatic for Spidey being there, I'm just disappointed how he looks.. CGI costumes looked like **** in 2011, and they still do now. Spidey looked like a Playstation 2 character in that trailer, something we haven't seen since the original Sam Raimi film. He no longer looks like something tangible that you can reach out and touch.

I actually read that they have filmed 3 different endings. I won't say anymore, but if you want the details, message me privately. I don't want to ruin anything for anyone.

Interesting! I don't want to know but that's interesting to know. I'm sure we'll get all three on the home release. I can already guess two of them though....

I don't like the Spidey costume at all. The mechanical eyes really bug me (no pun intended). Much prefer ASM2 costume. That one was flawless.
Also, why is Black Panther bulletproof? |

Did people not watch the trailer with good sound? All over the internet I see people complaining that "Why are spider-mans eyes animated like deadpool?" "it's too cartoony"
Watch the trailer again and listen closely. Spider-Mans eyes aren't animated like deadpool. When his eyes get smaller it makes a tech like shutter noise. I'm guessing it's going to be a suit that Tony makes for him. Something along the lines of: "Why are you running around in that kid, I got something bettr for ya" If I remember correctly from past interviews, at this time Peter has only been Spider-Man for just under a year. When Tony finds him, he's probably in some rag-tag unfinished costume and Tony makes this one for him with some tech improvement since that's what he does best. I'm very happy with the way he looks and cant wait for a figure of him |
