Sorry that I missed everything this weekend. I was actually at the East Cost Comic Con in New Jersey on Saturday. Someone had the Walgreens Namor for $75. No f-ing way. However, one booth had Nuke and Red Guardian for $20 so I grabbed them. I have to admit, I am pleasantly surprised with the Giant Man BAF parts. I might want to build him now.

Also, on the Design A Wave thread, I had mentioned a custom Bonebreaker from the Reavers that I made a number of years ago. Byrnes was asking to see it, so here's a pic. This is one of the first customs I did. I think I based it off the version of Bonebreaker that showed up in the Wolverine and the X-Men cartoon. I think I might repaint him and add some detail to make it look more like the 90's toy. And yes, his turret allows him to turn.

Maybe we'll see it later this month or a little after the release of Civil War to coincide with the release?

That's what I'm hoping. Aside from Fury and BP all the rest are under $30 so hopefully in a month those will be at more ~$20 (will pick up Red Guardian then) and Fury/BP will be under $30, at which point I'll call it a done deal for Panther so I can be sure to get him before we move.

if you meant the next Cap wave I also agree - would be great to get it before June. I think SW is the only one I want out of that and would gladly pay a little extra (maybe up to $40 even) to ensure I get it without having change of addresses throw in extra issues.

Nice! I loved that toy from the X-Men 5" Toy Biz stuff. One of my favorites. That Dakken head works great for that figure.

You mean they should add weapons to the 2-pack figure that's coming with WS? I agree.

You mean the one coming with Disco Armor Iron Man, and has a bunch of weapons? (Not my pic, but uploaded to my fileshare)

Yes, they need to add the weapons to that figure that were shown in the trailer but that they did not yet add.

Got Venom in the mail yesterday and he's pretty cool. I didn't bother with the alternate hands since these open hands are cool enough on their own but I did switch over to the tongue head since I keep the Select figure with its McFarlane style head. It obviously isn't in the same league of figures as the Select Venom but as Hasbro should it definitely has more articulation despite less detail. His paint apps do pop under the black-light though, especially his slime-green parts which sport a very nice reaction. I'm still a little confused as to just how freaking rare this has been in my area when to this point no other Legend has been so hard to find, thankfully Amazon gets these more than just the first time.

I agree on how cool he is. In fact, I'll say that this is the closest to a perfect 6" scale Venom that anyone has ever gotten, and 6" scale is all I care about with Marvel and DC.

I took the S6 boxed set head and dremeled it to fit this figure. So mine has 3 options.

I'm also wondering how the in-scale head from the MS Venom's backpack would look on the SMMLIS Venom.

Guess it's a good thing I grabbed mine when I did if he's so hard to find. I walked into the new Wal-Mart by my house and randomly saw one. After some quick debating I walked away with it and now he sits upon my wall.

Don't care about 6 inch figures but I do loves me some Venom. The REAL Venom that is anyway.

Me and my friends had a blast playing with our figures under my black light back in the day.

And I've got some sweet Ghost Rider covers that look amazing. I wish I had posters of them.

Yeah if we're strictly talking 6" scale figures (eliminating Select Venom as he is in a 7" scale) then this is my favorite Venom figure, the previous one would be the Toybiz Amazing Spider-man symbiote blast Venom.

So few figures I get anymore react. It's mostly expected as the more detailed collector figures have a lot of paint but I love the occasional translucent figure or pieces like Scarlet Witch's hex/magic effects. Of course every now and then after the weather gets shifty I get to use the black lights more practically as I check around the house for scorpions which I proceed to... deal with.

Mine is like some kind of toy time capsule. Found an untouched Black Widow, a Hydra Agent, and an Aim Agent there front and center like a year after the wave's release. Crazy.

Translucent figures are the best! Toybiz's Invisible Woman movie figure was my favorite to put under the black light. Gonna have to go and find her now. Regarding the scorpions: YIKES!!
