Well since the movie is called Captain America: Civil War I completely expect him to still be the main focus but as with the Winter Soldier the film does feature enough other heroes that fans can get hyped over.

I could see them ultimately going the route you've suggested, but Chthon ain't havin' no "halfway crooks!" As with Angela, I say they make her a "duchess" of some nether-region. She'd be infinitely more interesting to me that way. This failed/redemptive/repentant-hero stuff has gone on far too long.

I think more chaotic good (depending on circumstances) and less lawful evil. To me Dr. Doom would more closely match lawful evil as he is incredibly well structured but has extremely selfish motivations. Chaotic good on an average day implies disregard for the law but not to the point that you're hurting others deliberately. As a chaotic good Wanda could focus on mastering her powers and abilities but the general goodness of the character would keep her from becoming power hungry. Just because someone rules a place like Hell doesn't mean they can't have good intentions.

I think Scarlet Witch having the redemption path was necessary though to bring the character back from what Bendis did. It was an effective way to revive her both in-universe and for readers but it served its purpose and they should just move on. Like we said, just have her accept her dark deeds and keep on truckin'.

Yeah, "Lawful Evil" implies someone who adheres strictly to their own "code of honor" but wouldn't hesitate to do something they know could have incidental harmful repercussions on innocents if they believe it's necessary to serve their greater ambition. Whereas "Chaotic Evil" would be people like serial killers, terrorists, etc.

"Chaotic Good" is basically as En Sabah described it. Someone who doesn't follow any rules, is out for their own enjoyment of life above anything else, but doesn't harm human-like beings unless they deem it absolutely necessary. Think Conan The Barbarian. Whereas "Lawful Good" is Shield, Captain America, etc.

I agree with ya. Solo titles should be more about the character than jampacking heroes into a film. Though the ending left me disappointed it also felt very much like the issue of cap your fired. Warning: here comes some nerdy talk..."Chaotic Good," in my interpretation, represents the actions of beings like Godzilla, the Hulk, or Lovecraft's benevolent-elder gods (lol there weren't many of them in his books). Entities that work on the side of good and have altruistic intentions (*sometimes*), but are also just as likely to hurt/destroy the very innocents for whom they are fighting (and they do so without a care in the world for the pain they've authored). Godzilla fighting to save the Earth (more like fighting to maintain his title as champ ), but trampling on thousands of humans in the process is one example of "chaos" in the face of a good deed. The Hulk battling the rampaging "whatever" and causing untold destruction and massive injuries to bystanders, being another example. There is a general sense of danger and unpredictably within these encounters. The "Chaotic Good" agent, is nearly as dangerous to you as the "Chaotic Evil" one. This thinking is in line with parts of what you've said.

When you mentioned Ghost Rider, I immediately thought of a "Duke of hell." Archduke, archdevil, "hell lord" whatever you want to call them...by nature and station, they have to be evil. Regardless of the circumstance, their baseline is malevolence. As I see it, there's no way to maintain your title in any hellish realm and be "good" in any way. Although I don't agree with your stance on "nether-realm monarchs," I understand your take as it pertains to the Marvel Universe. Marvel has been blurring the line with "hell" and character alignments for a long time (since the 70's at least: Son of Satan, Satana, Ghost Rider etc).

Dude, they have milked the 'redemption story-line' from her very inception as a member of the Brotherhood turned Avenger. 52 years of redemption for Wanda is a bit long in the tooth. Maybe they'll come up with something new for her when she hits the age of retirement; 65 years in, we'll finally have an actualized Wanda? Not to mention, they've been working the whole "crazy" angle since the 70's. All of this sounds like I don't care for the character, which couldn't be further from the truth. I just feel like she's been in limbo long enough, character-wise. She has flirted so very long with evil and madness, that I believe it's time to get her off the schneid...in comics, at least. The movie property can rehash the "fence sitting" all they want. She's still a new to character to movie-fans.

Except for Mephisto, which between him and Annihilus I would love some new Legends. Their varying sizes would work great in either Marvel scale and neither has done them in awhile.

I think with so many of the hell-oriented characters it comes down to a recognition that a lot of people dig the hellish aspect but if they aren't ultimately good characters then fans will drop out. Switching companies for a moment, Spawn is the pinnacle of capitalizing on Hell's appeal while at the end of the day still being on the good side. Of course Spawn's story got extremely convoluted pretty fast so using him as an example only applies to the earlier material.

I was able to find a fodder White Tiger at a decent price to cannibalize for parts, and was able to finally give my Felicia some flat soled, (not to mention more comic accurate) feet.



While the color of of WT's feet are not a perfect match color or size wise, they fit well, and I've always felt the feet on the standard female Hasbro Legends was a bit too large. As for the color, it seems Hasbro has always had trouble with whites when it comes to getting the feet to match the body. (At least with my figures...) My Anti-Venom and White Tiger have this issue with the the colors not quite matching on the feet to the body for whatever reason, so while it's noticeable on Felicia here, it's not enough of a deal breaker to send me to my local hobby shop to look for that perfect shade of paint, (although I might do it later anyways to help tighten up the ankle joint, which has always been somewhat loose.)

It's a shame that White Tiger's hands are too small, because they have an actual working swivel that's an improvement over the one Felicia currently has. Oh well.

Besides those minor faults...my Black Cat can finally do this now without support...



...and that makes me a very happy man.

Black Cat's feet have a nice, sturdy foot peg, it's White Tiger's that you have to look out for, since it's on a smaller figure body. You definitely don't want to twist and risk tearing the peg off the ankle joint, leaving it stuck in the foot. Make sure you apply plenty of heat. I found the boil and pop method actually worked a little easier than using a hairdryer or heat gun.

While both could benefit from a more defined stance going forward, Scarlet Witch is the older and more popular character. Also Scarlet Witch has been going through character repair since the whole Disassembled/M-day shit wrecked her character.
