Apocalypse would've lined up better with the movie release, but I'll take whatever updated X-Men characters I can get. Plus, Juggy works better for some mixed displays, since he's battled more than just the X-Men.

Still bummed that it wasn't Sauron, though.

And I am hoping and praying that Laura is the Wolverine of this wave. I'd accept Clan Yashida colors Logan as a secondary, but Laura would be the bee's knees.

i was looking for either Juggernaut or Apocalypse, For Juggernaut he needs his removable helmet then i will be happy.
Though at first i was sold on all the figures , because it adds more x-men to my collection of characters i want
i.e shadow cat,[long over due reboot] iceman [done awesomely , with the spikes] jean / phoenix , get to avoid that old toy biz one. Cable reminds me his awesome suit from deadpool the game. so yeah 100% sold on each one i wouldn't of cared if we got a BAF or not would of gotten the figures either way. Not something forced as in like the GOTG wave where you needed to get all to have groot who is a core member of the team.
So for a long time the BAF is a bonus , I also need a better Juggernaut , i got the x-men X3 series 2 toybiz version Ultimate Juggernaut, which i think i got cause of articulation

Id like to see wolvie be ( and his is unlikely but really hopeful ) the ultimate jimmy hudson wolvie and get an xforce or new xmen laura x crop top and black pants outfit.

Yo, if we got an X-Force X-23, I'd be so happy! I wouldn't mind the new X-23 Wolverine costume either. Maybe it'll an Old Man Logan Wolverine?

the question is when are these due out ? considering i haven't been on toyark for awhile due to the fact i haven't gotten any new toys as of latelym i'm kinda off track with releases.

By the way guys, i just want to put this out here.

If any of you can get ahold of 2 SEALED in box superior spider-man figures and also a SEALED pizza spidey. please let me know....

I'm looking to make even trades for them. i currently have a bag full of BAF parts, i would trade for one figure, 2 black ant figures still sealed and a punisher nemesis i wouldn't mind parting with for these figures.

Well, he looks good, and with him I'll never need to buy a different Logan figure. That's the costume I got to know first, so that'll always be 'my' Logan costume. I'm just glad it's not the 'Old Man Logan' that was rumored - that would've soured things for me with this wave.

I really don't need another Wolverine and do wish it was X-23verine, but that is a sweet looking Wolverine. I will be preordering this wave as I want to show Hasbro there is support for X-Men figures (and I do want the Rogue, Havok and Kitty Pryde in of themselves) but I'm still meh on it. Especially the BAF. but I know many people do want him and do want the figures and that's great.

However, if support for X-characters is not made and the wave doesn't sell well, chances are slimmer that Hasbro will make another X-wave, and I certainly don't want that. There are still so many characters that need to be done a first time, that it would be a shame to miss future opportunities to get them.

This wave is covering a lot of bases for an X-Men collection. Pretty much everybody in the wave is a core X-Men character, many of them in dire need of a redo, like Iceman, Havok, Kitty and Rogue, the others are characters that are a bit too expensive to get on eBay like Deadpool and Cable, and then to top it all off, we get an all new sculpt for a stocky and short Wolverine as well as a pretty good looking Phoenix figure.

Just this wave alone, you've got most of the core X-Men members. We could really use a Jim Lee Cyclops and First Appearance/Jim Lee Storm in future waves to seal the deal. Perhaps a new Nightcrawler, Colossus and Gambit, but those don't feel quite as necessary since the old ToyBiz figures are relatively easy to come by and still hold up decently today.

It's gonna take all of my willpower to not beg Hasbro to just buy the figures from their display at SDCC.....

I completely agree I'd like to see a Jim Lee Cyclops or Jim Lee Storm (to be honest I don't care about a FA Storm but that's just me.) The rest I don't think are in too sore a need of an update, except maybe Psylocke, X-23(sorely needed) Banshee (my god so badly needed) and maybe Angel. I recently bought the MS Gambit and Nightcrawler just to have a second figure of each but I think the original ML work for them too, and Colossus, Beast, Bishop and Forge hold up well. Past that you're getting to second tier X-characters like Domino, Cannonball that could possibly use a redo, and villains (Mister Sinister and Deathstrike I will say do need redos badly).

So I'm definitely not opposing that people who want new version of existing characters get them. I want some myself after all. I just also hope that down the line, if we continue to get X-Men charcters, we get some brand new NEVER done before ones as well.

I'm with you, but I also look at some of the older ML and, while they do hold up, they could really use an aesthetic update, especially given that Hasbro occasionally likes to include alternate heads/hands and some accessories.

I weep that my ToyBiz Nightcrawler didn't come with a sword, and can't even hold any substitutes. And that he's so serious-faced - this is Nightcrawler we're talking about, after all.

But yes, give us a mix of brand new characters, and updated characters, and I think we'll all be an equally happy bunch, yes?

Yeah Cyclops, Storm, Banshee, X-23 and Psylocke definitely need new ones. I don't own the Angel figure, but it still looks like it holds up pretty well, and the wings are probably better done on that one than whatever Hasbro would put out.

Hasbro did put out what looked to be a pretty solid Psylocke figure, but it was an SDCC exclusive and it was only in X-Force colors IIRC.

They could also give us a 90s Jubilee, since it seems like about 20 people in the world were able to actually complete that BAF lol

Absolutely! I'd say 2 out of 7/8 figures ideally would be brand new never done...if it's a 6 figure wave I can see it just being 1 brand new one. I think next wave out will probably cover most of the rest of the base characters, so I'm not expecting brand new in that, but it would be nice. Certainly if there's a third wave though I'd hopefully expect to begin to see a mix from that point forward.

@SymbiSpidey yeah, to me the Angel does hold up okay, I think. And the exclusive Psylocke, well I'd love to have that, but not for the kind of money that set goes for. At least they have the mold and could potentially use it. And a new Jubilee would be nice, for those many people who did not complete that set (after I bought the Storm I pretty much said F it and worked towards finishing the BAF since I'd already screwed myself over price wise anyways)
