Hey, does anyone have any suggestions for an 'unmasked' head that could be popped onto Havok? I don't mind this one having the modern headpiece, but I'd love to give him something that brought him closer to his Mutant X design.

The only options I've thought of so far are one of the various unmasked heads that have come with recent releases of Captain America (mostly the MCU version), or the unmasked MCU Star-Lord. The Cap heads are all too 'clean-cut' for Alex; the Pratt-Lord head could work, but that thing's got some really gnarly sculpt-obscuring paint, so I don't know if I'd want that (or if it'd look good after being stripped to repaint). Any suggestions?

I would say the dc unlimted nu 52 aquaman or the clint barton head from ronin. The dc one would probably need a bit of dremeling though

Deadpool's looking like he might surpass his ToyBiz counterpart. Only thing I'm worried about is the hand with the pinky with regards to holding his weapons. Wish they had an alternate hand for that.

Hasbro, are you in bed with the gas companies? If you are, please throw in a gas card with each set of ML's will ya, thank you Hasbro. I can't believe that the Civil War set is still not in stores, really. Hasbro, I thought the name of the game is to keep your customers happy, I guess you are aiming at having less customers, because no product leads to no profits. Thanks, Hasbro.

Sincerely, Rant...lol

Blame the stores and whoever orders the cases. Hasbro doesn't control that aspect. If the stores didn't order them yet, Hasbro really doesn't have a precedent to send them.

Again, why does Punisher have a white gun?

Oh, and those picures of Cable actually make him look kind of cool.

I agree, and I'll go so far as to throw Deadpool in the lot. Those two are going to be a pain to find.

Could it be an issue with stores overstocking Legends?

They seem to order thousands of each wave and the retailers just see "Marvel Legends" on the pegs and think they're well-stocked, not realizing that there is a difference between a wave of figures that came out last year and a wave of figures that came out this year.

After seeing work a friend of mine did on some gungdham weapons, I asked if he could paint the horrible, brown pistol and shot-gun looking weapon that came w/ the Demolition Man figure from the Onslaught BAF....man, did the weapons come out GREAT!
Green scope vision,
grey drybrush
silver front-sight post;
Pistol got a silver paint w/black hand grips.

I wonder then who(s) was the wonderlick in charge in charge of the purchasing department for the store who said, "let's purchase, Civil War cups, shirts, napkins, and forget about the action figures for now!" I understand your point, but the movies been playing all over the world for a while now, and I think most companies would like to strike while the iron is hot. Want Panther and Fury, got Red Guardian opened on EBay, and he is a great figure IMO, and the rest I can live without. To those of you that got lucky so far, may your luck shine on to the have nots...

The only stores i've seen them have been comic book shops. I've had the entire wave for months now but I want a extra Black Panther and more SHIELD agents without having to pay an extra $10-$12 dollars of retail on ebay and amazon.com. Plus I want other people to enjoy the figures without having to pay insane scalper prices for Black Panther.

I'll reiterate what I said a few pages back. If you like X-Men figures, you should buy this wave, even if you're not thrilled with it. I'm not all that excited about half the wave but I have preordered it all (Rogue is my only thrill from this wave though I do like the new Kitty and Havok as well.) But if we as X-fans do not show there is support for X-Men product, the chances are less that future opportunities for X-Men product will be released.

It does kind of suck it's like that but I feel strongly that is the way it is. Hasbro doesn't look at comments like "I don't want another Wolverine" or "I wanted this character instead" in the short term, they look at sales. In the long run they may hear those comments and work in some adjustments later on, but at first it's mostly going to be core charcters.

That said, if the rumors about the second X-wave this year (or early next year I still think is likely) are true, I'm actually excited about that wave, rather than just being "it's okay" about this first wave.

But much of my "meh"ness comes from owning some version of all these figures mostly from the TB day, and feeling like the only one that I really felt was awful from back then was Rogue. You'll not hear me complain once we're getting a new one of her.

The wait is killing me. I've never been excited for a wave as I am for this X-Men wave. Rogue was really the only figure I was really interested in getting but after seeing the pictures released this past week I want them all! Even Deadpool who I really don't like as a character but he's perfect looking. I wish action figures had a confirmed date of release like video games, dvd's/blu ray, etc. This whole June/July/August date is killing me LOL!

I am starting to think that Hasbro is leaving a spot or two per wave now to redo the Toybiz figures and their own from their initial attempt at Marvel Legends....and that is not a bad thing. They are really hitting these out of the park right now they have some great bucks, the build a figures are getting bigger.

Me too especially since we are relocating around August. I know if they by some miracle ship this month or July I will be fine, but if it's August it's chancy and if it's even later than that I may have to cancel. Which would suck.

You know all this talk about the product and Hasbro reminded me about 10-12 years ago when I was big into Star Wars I would occasionally run into a rep in the stores/isles while on the hunt. They would make sure the product is on the shelves and there were no issues with the companies and how they sold and stocked the figures. I wonder if they still have those kinds of reps going around to stores and "Checking up" so to say.

Oh I remember those glorious days! I ran into a couple of those individuals myself. I can't imagine they could possibly be doing that now - as bad as the situation with ML is, at least there is (outdated) stock on the shelves. The Star Wars sections are usually practically a wasteland.

i just said the hell with it... im tired of the wait of the current wave being nowhere in sight locally to me. i know it's getting close because 305batman texted me and told me he seen some of the wave around his way.. i preordered black panther and nick fury from BBTS. still no sign of any of the sought after X-men singles.... all still sold out.

Any one know the difference with version 1 and version 2 of the Energized Emissaries ? I saw somewhere they said one is either crossbones or wonder man the other captain britain ? i want a captain britain which would would be the one to order then ?
