I think I'm going with this set for the Abomination and passing on the Cap wave (outside of Eel, Wonder Man, and Cap Britain). I prefer Emil's head in the set along with the overall paint job. I'm fairly convinced that Purple Man's head is a new sculpt, as is Amora's...although, I'm a little less certain with her.

I think she's a new sculpt. She seems to have a leering sort of smirk or grimace expression. Definitely not a Scarlet Witch repainted head, though of course most of the figure is.

Haha didn't even notice the wording on that.

I know a lot of people are somewhat on the fence about this set but I love it! A new Sandman (at least to hold a spot in my Spidey villains collection until we get Sandman in his regular colors), Purple Man and most importantly, ENCHANTRESS!!! I'm also extremely excited for Dreadknight despite not knowing much about the character, I just love his design.

Only one I'm really meh on are Abomination and Spider-Man since they're more or less straight up repaints but even then that Abomination has a cooler color scheme to me. Does anybody know what artwork that Spidey head is based off? I can't quite put a finger on it.

Wow, WOw, and WOW!..this set looks like quality, they reuse old molds, but at the same time, all the figures look unique..already forgetting about the BAF Abomination...if I can put my credit card number into the system fast enough, this set will be part of my collection...And, thanks for the price, Hasbro...sincerely, no rant...

Hasbro's actually done a surprising amount of new mold work this year, even discluding the BAFs and movie figures. I'm impressed.

Really, all I could ask for is some more civilian bucks. We've already got the suited body, we could use some more casual clothes, for both male and female.

I really need a Jessica Jones to go with that Purple Man.

I feel the same way. That was pretty much the last time I was reading comics on a regular basis. 15 years later I still haven't read enough new comics for more than 6 months. Maybe I'm selfish but it felt like the characters I loved as a child were not mine anymore. Mind you at that time I was technically still a child at that time, I was 17 at the time, but you get the point.

Hnghhh...I need that Spidey. But boy is it going to be tough to find him on his own. I mean there's other stuff I want in the pack (Purple Man and Sandman) but Spidey is a must have. Buying the full set might have to be my route and just make it one of or my only super crazy purchase of the year if Spidey doesn't pop up solo.

Got my X-wave from BBTS... wow these are even nicer in person! I'm iffy on Juggey since having the select version but man he's cool. They are all stand outs and I am very pleased to have this set. More more more Hasbro!!

Now that we have a clean photo, definitely McFarlane or J.Scott Campbell. Gonna say McFarlane though based on the darker color scheme alone.

I finally got around to organizing my Legends collection today and was surprised a bit by what I found. For one, I have considerably more Iron Man figures than any other character. This even more makes me feel like they make way too many Iron Man figures as I almost never specifically buy him for him and usually rather for a BAF piece. For another, I think my fodder box may nearly rival my collection in size now LOL. Time to get off my butt and put some to use.

The Demolition Man body is just so incredibly versatile. For being nearly the entirety of the movie Electro body it is amazing how much a couple small modifications can make a difference. I was messing around with mine for a couple of hours today. Since I first saw him I have thought the body would work well for a more tech armored Shield agent. We have already seen an awesome use of it for Blade as well.

Sort of. As I recall, Pete took him out but died doing so. The funeral scene afterward was very powerful.

It is actually a decent series. Interesting take on Spidey from a more modern viewpoint. If you do read it, read the Spider-Men mini afterward. It sets up how 616 Peter and Miles know each other. At least prior to Ultimate End and Secret Wars.

I have 5 or so. I would buy a few more if not at full price. If I find more for 10 bucks or so they are so mine.

Peter took a bullet meant for Captain America as the Punisher was attempting to assassinate him. While Peter survived, he did not immediately seek out medical aid, as he was afraid it would cost him his secret identity, instead opting to try and take down the Green Goblin once and for all, who had just killed Otto Octavius and had teamed up with other villians, specifically targeting Pete and his family for death. Pete was able to survive the Goblin's final onslaught, before the Goblin was killed himself, but not before he ended up bleeding out from the bullet wound he previously sustained.

I'm stoked about the SDCC set. Unfortunately we'll be in the middle of our move from Washington state to Florida. Soooo I'll be begging someone to help snag it, that's for sure lol.
